Naomi rolled her eyes – this girl was annoying. And crazy. “Go away or else I’ll place a curse on you that every time when you look at a guy, you’ll cry and your tears will be red.” She stated, speaking in an almost threatening tone. She was bluffing of course – she couldn’t do any of that but it sounded convincing. She didn’t do this often so it was out of character for her. “And don’t think I can’t do it.” She smirked – making the threat even more convincing.
So he was right – Akiko didn’t live far from him. He gripped the shoulder straps of his backpack and looked back at Akiko. He nodded, “Yep. Did you?” he asked. The homework really wasn’t that hard but he had to break himself away from working on the puzzle in order to do it.

"Ack! Your so mean!" the fangirl said as she ran away. Ryou sighed in relief. "Thanks, they get annoying. They aren't even interested, they just want to hang on me. Not that I would consider it, with them," Ryou said. It was such a weird predicament. Why couldn't normal girls like him? They were now on school grounds, only a little bit before school starts.
Akiko nodded cutely, "Uh huh! It wasn't that bad." They were also on school ground. "Wow, that seemed really quick," she said. She gave a small bow to Yuugi, "Thanks for walking with me. It was nice." She hoped they could walk again together. Even though she was outgoing, she still had her shy side. She found it hard to ask for friendship, but she was sure it would fall into place.

Naomi watched the fangirl run off and sighed with a hidden satisfaction. “Annoying little chicks.” She muttered, turning towards Ryou. “Well... just tell them to bugger off.” She wasn’t even about to add her own opinion on why those girls liked to hang around Ryou. Ryou was a cute, nice guy... but this was what she’d think if she liked him like that. Which she didn’t. “We’d better head for class.” she said.
Yuugi was surprised at how quick time had gone by. It seemed like they had only walked a block. “Yep... it’s better to walk with someone. That way you’re not alone.” He said. “Maybe... since we live close, we could walk home... and you can check out our shop if you wanted.” He shrugged – it was just an idea.

No matter what, Ryou just couldn't be mean to people. He had a hard time standing up for himself as well, because he always felt he would hurt another person. He walked up to his locker and started taking things out and putting in things. Akiko's face lit up. "Oh yes! I'd like that!" She bowed due to happiness. "I have to go to my locker, I'll see you in class," she said. She swung her head back up and turned around. Because of her enthusiasm, she accidentally knocked into a pole that was right behind her. Recoiling a few steps back, she shook her head and walked off to her locker. With some blush of embarrassment on her face. [[heh, clutsy like Janus lol]]

Naomi’s locker wasn’t too far from Ryou’s. As she put her things up (grabbing some things in the process) she said, “You have to start standing your ground... otherwise people will just walk all over you.”
Yuugi sweatdropped when Akiko hit the pole but was a bit worried she had hurt herself. But she was already too far for him to ask. He sighed, deciding that he should also head to his locker. Although he was starting to look forward to the walk home.

"Oh, it's ok though. I don't have to deal with it a lot really," Ryou said. It was a pretty true statement, he didn't have it as bad as some other students. Probably because he was somewhat new. "Are you free after school?" Ryou asked her.
Akiko looked over to see Naomi and Ryou at there lockers. She was somewhat near theirs. She waved at them, not sure if they would see her or not.

“If you say so.” Naomi said softly as she closed her locker. “Uhm... not really. I’m busy again today – sorry.” She was starting to hate lying like this but it couldn’t be helped. She glanced over and happened to see Akiko. “Chickie! What’s up?”
Yuugi went to his locker and grabbed whatever he needed before heading off to class. He hoped to not run into trouble anytime soon. He hadn’t seen any signs of Jounochi or Honda yet.

Akiko walked over and said, "Nothing much. Bumped into a pole but I'm doing ok!" She joked a bit.
Ryou frowned very slightly, he couldn't imagine what she could be doing all the time. Well, as long as she's ok- that's all that matters. He waved to Akiko as well. "A pole you say?" he asked, confused on what she said.
Akiko joked some more, "Yea, those poles just jump out at you!"
Jounochi was a bit late to school- he over slept. He walked into school and into the locker room. He hadn't seen Yuugi yet, or Honda. He looked over to see that weirdo girl, the other girl.... Naomi he guessed, and that other somewhat new kid. He didn't talk to anyone really, only Honda. It wasn't like he didn't want to make friends, he didn't even know why he just didn't go to make more friends. He shook his head a bit.... now he was just thinking stupid things.

“Ah that’s nothing. I ran into a tree once when I was running from a dog.* I guess tall things just pop out of nowhere and make you hit them.” Naomi said with a shrug. She did find it kind of funny that Akiko walked into a pole though. She glanced over and saw Jounochi walking past. “Hey blondie! Whatcha doing?” She asked. No she didn’t talk to him but figured she might as well annoy someone.

Yuugi walked into the classroom, seeing that it was about half empty. Those who were there were either finishing up homework or talking. He went to his regular seat near the back and sat down. He began thinking on various things, from the Millennium Puzzle in his backpack to what he’d have to do when he got home to the new girl Akiko. He really did hope they’d become friends.
Honda wandered the halls, not feeling like going to class at the moment. Actually he was sort of looking for Jounochi. The guy must have been late. He’d yet to see Miho but did see Yuugi earlier, walking with that new girl. He briefly wandered what was going on between those two but had quickly pushed it off. Like he cared what they were doing.

Akiko couldn't help but laugh a bit. She looked over to see Jonouchi as well. She didn't hold a grudge, but she wouldn't talk to him until he open up. He had a barrier around him and until he can break that- he would be hard to reach.
Jonouchi frowned a bit, "None of your business," he said not in a mean way, but in an apathetic way. He turned and started to walk away. He stopped and looked back a bit, then quickly turned back.
Ryou sweatdropped, "You both hit into poll like structures?" He giggled slightly to himself. He looked over at Jonouchi, then at Naomi. "Are you two friends?" He was a bit confused.

“Good for you then.” She said as he walked off then looked at Ryou. She shrugged, “I dunno. He’s a bit of a pervert and picks fights but he might be pretty cool. He doesn’t talk to anyone though.” She said. Jounochi was an odd character and kept to himself a lot. Although Naomi liked picking at him, calling him ‘blondie’ and a perv when ever she saw him. “Okay dudes, maybe we should head to class before we’re late.”
((Nada for Yuugi-kun... fudge.))
Having not found Jounochi, Honda decided to head for class. If he was here, he’d be in class before the bell ring. Or at least that’s how he saw it.

Akiko just listened, she figured a lot about him because of her item. But also hearing other people's views help reinsure her item's read out. They walked into class, taking there appropriate seats.
"Ah, I see," Ryou said as he followed as well. He wondered if anything special would happen today, seems like everyday is the same. Well, except his strange 'voices' he would hear- but he would try and forget about them.
Jonouchi watched Honda come in and he waved to him a bit. Honda was a good friend- because they were so much a like- he could relate to him.

Naomi set her things down and sat down in her seat. “Well let’s hope today is interesting.” She said with a sigh as she laid her head down on her desk. She was still a bit tired.
Yuugi looked up when he saw more people filtering in. He spotted Akiko with two other people – both he recognized as Ryou and Naomi. He didn’t really talk to them. Jounochi and Honda had also came in. Class would be starting soon.
Honda went over to his desk (near Jounochi’s) and sat down. “Where were you this morning, man? Stay up too late?” He asked, looking over at the blonde.

Jonouchi smiled, "Yea, I was up late." He then chuckled a bit, "Don't worry, I was home- in my own room." He then leaned back and put his hands behind his head. "I was studying...... the female anatomy," Jonouchi said.

Jonouchi was practically out the door when the bell rang.
Ryou stood up with Naomi. "Time to go home," Ryou said simply. He didn't mind school, but he was happy when they could leave.
Akiko stood up as well. "Hold on guys, I'll be right with you," she said with a nod. She walked up to Yuugi's seat ans stood to his side. "I'm going to go get my stuff, I'll meet you at the front of the school, ok?" Akiko smiled softly.

Naomi was happy when the bell rang. “We’re free from another day of endless torture.” She smiled, picking up her stuff and preparing to leave. Though now she’d actually wait for people.
Yuugi stood, picking up his things and getting ready to go home. He looked up from his desk at Akiko. He smiled and nodded, “Okay. See you in a bit then.” he said.
Honda trailed after Jounochi, walking beside him as they went down the hall. Another boring day gone by without much event.
