He sensed a gathering nearby, but had no urge to go and see who they were yet. What was the point? If it was a raiding party of some sorts, then he honestly believed that the people around him deserved their fate, and if it wasn't? Well then, that didn't concern him either. He was out to meet with his mate, and nothing else. Let all the rest of them go on as they were.
He caught bits of their conversation, and decided that he really didn't want to be involved. Why monger for peace? There would be blood shed no matter whose hands it would be on, and he didn't care, as long as he had a chance to join in the fun. The only reason that there was any fun WAS because if the fighting.
He snorted as he heard the gathered try their hand at politics. As if they actually knew how the real world worked. In the world that he knew, your top priority was survival. Anything beyond that, and you were wasting your time. He had half a mind to crash the party, though he decided that even that wasn't worth it. No, he would wait until they said something particularly stupid, and then barge in and prove them wrong. Or so did his mind reason to him thus.

Akamaki snorted at what Tenshou had said, ear's twitching she asked Ananna in a low voice so only she could here, "You don't have to put up with this, He shouldn't even be here.. He doesn't belive the cause for this group, he's just as bad as them."

Orpheus lands in the opening off to the side of the group keeping a keen on on those closest to him. The sound of the water crashing against the rocks drowns out the chatter from those farther away.

Adonna nodded, "Yes I know, but he may yet change." She felt the wind Orpheus's wings created against her fur, and she nodded a greeting in his direction. "Nice to see you."

Alek had finally reached his breaking point as to how much he could take of the seemingly mindless chatter, and dropped down from the tree he was in, stalking toward the others with all the furitive grace of a dancer. He was only a little ways away to begin with.
Once he came upon the others he scoffed at them, his eyes spectacularly cold, as he spoke in a dark smooth voice that tingled the spine and jingled with what in real life would have been a Russian accent. "Cease your senseless pratering.... there will be bloodshed no matter how many of you group together. It is the nature of all creatures that are alive - don't tell me that you would give your lives for such a fruitless cause. I don't care what you are, you're all foolish. You will all die someday, and when it happens, will you feel any more fulfilled for having done what you should have in the first place?"

Orpheus nodded in Adonna's direction, paying close attention to many attendants of the meeting, taking notes of weapons, claws fangs, and any other decisive traits. Listening carefully the opposing forces that came to meet peacefully.

Adonna stood up and waited until everyone had finished before her "What do you know?" She said in the strongest voice she could. Truth be told she had picked it up from her father, when he was angry his voice could be as sharp as the wind. "Have you ever thought of a world with peace? Wait let me guess, your one of those who like to fight? I’m right, aren’t I." She finished with a tone as hard as a brick wall.

Orpheus steps into the small quarrelling group. "I can't believe that such a gathering has drawn such as you, those that wish to kill and fight for a cause you do not even have an explanation for." He closes his eyes and breaths deeply. "Many of you hold ranks among your respective races and even those who don't can change what those around them think."

Adonna looked at Akamaki "Its ok, calm down. Its not like this is any thing new." She said in a completely different tone than she had just before. This one was kind and gentle as a stream. And then after a short pause glared at Orpheus "And on what ground do you speak so highly?" She said like a whip.

"I speak not highly but from experience. I have seen war and lived among more then one race in my life. So my speak although it seems high I do not mean to offend, and do understand that my tone may of seemed far more dissenting then I would of liked." Orpheus takes moves to a standing position to the right of Adanna.
