Jadelyn's eyes narrowed as she turned to look at Karan. "Oh bloody hell. And you wondered why I didn't want you in my home..." There was the faintest hint of a smile on her lips as she looked at the vial in Karan's hand. She arched a brow questioningly at him, crossing her arms over her chest. "I have no reason to hurt you right now, please don't give me one."

Kryss looked up at the sound of footsteps comming in his direction, suddenly realizing that he was on the outskirts of the city. The silver sliver of moon and the glowing streetlamps were plenty of light for him to see the dark skin of the half-demon that was running towards him.
He stood still as a stone for a moment, wondering if this young half-breed played acolyte to the demon he had met last night, then realized the aura surrounding the being was not one of complete evil and darkness.
Giving an amused half-grin, he wondered how he should greet the half-demon, or even if he should. He was a vampire, after all, and the opinions of his kind varied much in the levels under the Earth. Some would consider his kind family, while others thought of them as too low to bo considered at all, barely above the humans.
He took a step closer to the streetlight, leaning against it only slightly, and watched the half-demon approach his city.

As he neared the vampire he slowed his pace, walking up to the vampire he called out" Hey it look''s like you guy''s have a demon problem on your hands....i was hoping i could help out....... his voice trailed off knowing how proud vampires can be "if that''s alright with you" he said and waited for the vampires answer

"I don't like being thought of as an arrogant b*****d," he said quietly, offering the half-demon a friendly smile. "So if you can manage to think of me as something else, I certainly won't mind you wandering around my city looking for the demon."
He did not like having to look up at the demon, but then, he never had liked having to look up at anyone.
"My name is Kryss," he said with a small bow, never quite breaking eye contact with the stranger. "I think the 'coven' needs you more than I, though," he said, thinking of how unhappy Luscius had been at Kryss' sudden disappearance.

I know your kind...ruthless, mercyless, unforgiving." Karan had worked himself to where tears were flooding down his face. "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING I EVER LOVED IN LIFE!!" And with that he poped off the cork to the vile and hurled it towards the vampire.

Jadelyn sighed as the water hit her, absently brushing the drops away from her face. "I really wasn't in the mood for a bath." Her smile was sad as she glanced back at Kamiru and then towards Karan. "I took everything you ever loved? Me?" She sniffed, clicking her tongue. "I took nothing from you. Do not presume that you know me because you have run into others of my kind. You know nothing. You make assumptions. Bloody fool, I'm an artist. An artist." Her voice dropped to a whisper. "I am not like the others and how dare you insult me by claiming that I am. You do not know me."

"Look, I don't get what's going on here. First you're a ghost, now you're a human, and you're trying to kill Jadelyn, who's a vampire, but she's an artist, and man, does my head hurt..." Kamiru turned around, regained his thoughts, and turned to Karan. "Okay, I'd like you to explain just how you came to be a ghost, how you know of vampires, and just why you expected holt water to stop her. I don't really think I need an explanation out of you, Jadelyn, I think I get it enough on my own."

"I don't care if you stay or go," he said as the half-demon turned to leave. "What you do and where you go are your choices to make, not mine."
He stood then, no longer using the streetlight for support, his black eyes watching the dark-skinned being with as much caution as curiosity. He knew how powerful a pure-blood could become, but the half-bloods had always managed to surprise him either in their weakness or in their strength.
He pulled his jacket closer around him as the moon ducked behind a thin cloud of silver mist more out of habit than any real desire to keep from being cold; he liked the cold.

Takuya Kanbara "I'm just guessing, but was that holy water?" Kamiru said absentmindedly. "Look, I don't get what's going on here. "Well, if you wish no explanation then I believe I'll just retreat upstairs. If you want me..." She left the words hanging in the air as she started up the stairs. Her hands kept smoothing and tugging at her skirt, betraying her uneasiness. She found herself aching for her studio to complete. Sighing, she glanced back over her shoulder and then continued to move up the stairs. Hoping that working in her sketch book would be enough to calm her and bring her back into focus.

Karan had a look of pure horror on his face. "Damn her..." He muttered under his breath. Seeing Kamiru, Karan's eyes became very narrow. "You really want to know how I died?" he said in a cold tone. Pulling the long blue and black scarf from his neck, it revealed his pale neck, that had two circular puntures. A vampire bite. "That should anwser a few questions..." Karan said breathlessly.

Kryss turned, still with no destination in mind, and started off back into the cold, welcoming glow of the city. Maybe he would head downtown after all; the effervescent concoctions of the AfterDark had always managed to draw him through the club's shadowed doorway and into the ever-blinking, ever-blinding light of strobe lamps that hid just beyond the mist.
"'Tag along', eh?" Kryss grinned with an insane glint in his eyes, glancing over at the half-demon as they walked. "You haven't told me your name yet, you know."
He wondered if the half-breed knew how important names could be and if he would lie, and then he wondered if he would know if the demon were lying.

"I'm going to the AferDark. It's one of the nicer clubs in my city, if one of the harder to find."
The neon glow of downtown embraced them in its multi-coloured light, the voices of the crowd rising above the music drifting from the doorways and floating off into the unknown of space.
Kryss ducked down an unlit alley, easily finding the camoflauged door that eventually led to the main room of the AfterDark. He looked back at Zareb, holding the door open with a small grin that showed his fangs.
"Comming in?"
Eeire music played at the doorway, but the pulsing bass of A100 danced over the violin, the guitar just audible under the piano.
