*rubs her neck in the area wherein she was kicked*
"Mm. At least she could kick."
*smirks in amusement*
*looks up to where Val was*

Kat wasn't interested in what her students mumbled, but Val's hair was the same color as the blade and vice versa. What interested Kat was the blade itself. Weapons always amused her, despite her never really bothering to get one for herself and to use it for a long period of time. She's never really found the right one for her.
[Kat]
*stares blankly at Val for a while, examining her, before pointing at said student*
"Oh, that's interesting."
*smiles*
"We have the same shoes."
[OoC]
And thus, her students fell backwards at her random comment.

*keeps the smile, amused*

*blinks at Kat's comment about their shoes*
"Um. Yeah."

Valdis pushed herself off the building, doing a front flip - her long coat flowing behind her.
She landed swiftly on the ground and attempted to backhand at her teacher.
Though she stopped her hand before the blade could hit her teacher.

"You don't have a weapon?"

"I wouldn't need one, I guess. I usually-"
*smiles, quickly leaning down with both her hands on the ground*
"-look for one, and-"
*pushes herself forward to try and kick her student*
"-I'd lose interest in it."

Val protectively placed her hands in front of her to block the attack.
The force, however, had jolted a good deal backwards.
[Val]
"My coat is making me slower... Maybe I should change it tomorrow, huh?"
*chuckles*
*charges at Kat*
[OoC]
As Val neared her teacher, she began throwing punch after punch after punch at the stronger fighter.
She spun around and attempted another backhand.
She jumped and landed, crouched.
Val pushed her self off of the ground and lifts her right leg and kicks at her teacher again, hitting her once again on the neck.
She landed, crouched and back turned towards Kat. Val flipped backwards and used both feet to kick at Kat once again.

*dodges most of the punches that were thrown at her*
*gets hit again in her neck but smirks at Val's back flip*
"If you'd like."
*grabs both of Val's ankles as she back flips*

As Val back flips, Kat herself did a flip forward which was simultaneous to Val's. Once Kat landed on her feet, she held Val's ankles tighter and used her leg strength to pull Val forward. With this, she pulled Val who was behind her forward via her ankles and threw her violently to her front. Before Val hit the ground, though, Kat applied force to throw her aside instead before letting go of her ankles for her student to be thrown farther.

*straightens up and massages her neck*
"Mm. Not that it's my weak spot, but that felt good."
*smirks once again*

*before falling on the ground, recovers by flipping*

"That was fun."

"Fun? She must've hit her head on something," a female student commented.
"Or maybe she's that crazy."

*glares at classmates*
"You'd all do well to shut up unless you want me to fight you all as well."

"A class is supposed to get along. I'll teach them a lesson later so no worries, Val."

At this, the same students who taunted Val shivered.
[Kat]
"As of now, try not to lose your focus."
*dashes again toward Val and crouches down, hands on the ground as she swings a foot to give Val a low kick behind her legs, causing her fall backwards to the ground*

The wavering grey sky, the dancing maple tree and the window of the infirmary room was reflected on her long white hair.
Her chest slowly rose and slowly fell, probably because the weight of the bandages all over her frail body. Or the responsibility the Ukiyokira family placed on her pale shoulders.
She remained asleep as the door of her room creaked.
"Yuna Ukiyokira"
"Yuna? Is that her name?" the nurse asked. Both she and the principal of Yang school stood beside the new student's bed. Watching, as if she was a doll on display (with her looks she could have been).
"That's what I said..." the principal patiently answered. "...have you dressed all her wounds?"
"Oh yes..." the nurse answered with a curious look. There were always confrontations between Yin and Yang, but this was one of those rare occasions when the principal left the office and went to the infirmary. "...although I've never seen such a variety of damage on a single body. Maybe we should---"
"---we should let her rest." the principal said with a knowing look. And quietly left. The nurse shortly followed without a peep, after making sure the new student was alright.
"Welcome to Yang school Ms. Yuna Ukiyokira"

Before Val could make impact on the ground, she raised both her arms, thread coming out and gripping on anything to support her.
She was only a few inches above the ground, her teacher not too far away either.
Val pulled herself upward, using the thread like a sling shot.
She shot a dozen sharp threads at her teacher before landing on the ground.

The rustling of the maple leaves next to the infirmary window caused a stir.
She was beginning to awake. She sat up and looked around the room.
[Yuna]
"Not again... I barely stepped into...into...wherever I'm in right now and..."I'm not making any sense and to top it off I don't remember how I got here.
[OoC]
The confused Yuna got up and made her way to the door. The hallway was dimly lit, Yuna took a deep breath and called out.
[Yuna]
"Helllloooooo? Anybody here?" What's that? Waaaaaay over there. *walks to the strange object*.......a mirror in a place like this? *stares into the mirror*

*somewhat disappointed to see that she hasn't made Val touch the ground by her actions yet*
*smirks anyway*
'Interesting. She'd make a great student. And... this year will certainly be fun.'
*does a couple of cart-wheels in order to dodge the thead Val threw at her before dashing again at said student*

*appears behind Val*
"-are very interesting.*
*smirks before pulling Val's arm from behind with one hand then using her free hand to swiftly push Val down to the ground by pushing her student's back*
"In this position, you shouldn't struggle. I might break your arm."
*takes a tighter hold on Val's arm and a stronger push on Val's back*
*smiles*
"I wouldn't want to do that on the first day of school."

*blades petrude from her arms and she attempts to rip both sleeves of her coat*
"But you see... I'll just keep standing up again and again.

Valdis backflipped herself away from her teacher, silver bangles glistening under the morning sun. If you listened carefully, her shoulder bone had actually cracked a bit.
She gritted her teeth and hoped they wouldn't find out what those bangles were for.

*looks at arms*
"I had to ruin my coat..."

Val hastily removed her coat, making it fall haphazardly on the floor. She clutched her chest, coughing roughly again as she fell to her knees.

*chokes out* "Darn it."
*stands up slowly*
"This will be the death of me."
