Since the last time I posted, I've gone on a bit of a book buying frenzy.

-Brightly Burning. Mercedes Lackey
-Dragonsong. Anne McCaffrey
-Sense and Sensibility
-Seventh Song. Orson Scott Card
-NoLogo
-Pendragon: The Never War
-Shopaholic Ties the Knot
-Plains of Passage
Now I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple, but yes...and I wondered how I spent so much money in two weeks. The funny thing is that I've only finished one book during that time (Pinocchio)...but I'm reading a billion others.
I also recieved a two copies of Voices Visible. The student writing journal put out each year by BC Teachers of Lanuage Arts. My poem was published. I'm so happy! This is a big thing for me! Over 1500 people sent work in. and for soem reason I was the only person at my school to get a nod at all. Weirdly, it isnt even my favourite peice of writing.
I also got a few books given to me, but I wont list them, I think I've listed enough already. whee

i admit, i have a book buying problem. i bought about 50 books (rather 65) in the last year. bookorders are so tempting because you can never tell by looking at a flat figure what its gonna be like, so i buy away until all the good books are in my order.

I bought the Water Babies by Charles Kingsley. it's a nice used copy too, it's the sweetest book 3nodding

I wish I still had it but I don't remember where it got to..but I just finished Island of the Aunts and I loved that one too! Wayy better than I thought it was gonna be! Now I'm working on The Secret of Platform 13. not too far yet. heart

I have just purchased The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. I am hoping I will enjoy it after I am through with Tricksters Queen.

I just bought Myst: Book of Ti'ana today for eight something with a ten dollar giftcard. It wasn't bad, you don't gotta fiddle with money. I started it, and haven't found an obsession in it yet...
