Kuraiyume and his team ran at full speed towards their location. Soon, they passed into the woods, eager to get to their location, which was dead east. They continued for a time, until Kuraiyume suddenly stopped. Chi Hana stopped as well and so did Hayaiko, and Taiyouhi tried to, but he slipped and fell forwards on his face. This was fortunate, because a shuriken flew past the location where Taiyouhi's head had been seconds earlier.

"Watch yourselves!" Kuraiyume shouted, for he knew that all 3 of his Genin saw the shuriken. Taiyouhi rolled backwards from the ground and stood with his squad, all standing in a circular formation with their backs turned inwards.

The veins around Kuraiyume's eyes began to bulge and his pupils appeared as he activated his Byakugan ability. He sensed five figures off to the left. Kuraiyume whispered to his team, "We have a disadvantage here in the middle of the forest. Head to the clearing over there so that we can see who we fight." He made a head motion in the direction he wanted them to go. They all dashed that way, Kuraiyume going last in order to protect his Genin from a rear attack, since he was the only one who could see his hidden foes.

Multiple shurikens flew towards the team, which Kuraiyume deflected with weak lightning bolts that he emitted from his hand. He saw the figures dash about the trees, trying to get a better position and surround them, but it was too late for the enemy; Kuraiyume's squad made it into the clearing.

They broke through the edge of the forest, and entered a grassy field. The enemy shinobi soon broke through the tree cover, running in different directions in an attempt to surround Kuraiyume and his squad. Kuraiyume's squad already knew their battle plan though, they had been in these encounters before, in training and on missions, and they began to execute it.

Kuraiyume took his Kusari Gama off of his back and charged towards the shinobi in front of him. Hayaiko used his Follow the Wind jutsu, a stance which sped him up significantly as he drew his katana and wakizashi, charging at another foe.

Kuraiyume began to whirl the chain above his head rapidly and then hurled it towards one of the shinobi. The shinobi dodged it off to the side, ending up next to the shinobi that Hayaiko was fighting. Hayaiko didn't break his charge. He ran towards his enemies, weapons ready to attack, and then he suddenly jumped and did an acrobatic flip over the enemies, landing behind them. He charged forwards and again and stabbed one clean through his back with the katana, impaling through the heart and killing him instantly. The other shinobi came to attack, and Hayaiko parried with his wakizashi.

Then the other shinobi fell with 5 thorny needles in his back, which Chi Hana had thrown at him. Hayaiko pulled his katana out of the first enemy ninja and commenced a coup de grace on the other.

Two down, three to go; Kuraiyume charged at another, and then he conjured up two clones running next to him. Two of the three Kuraiyumes ran off to the sides in a flanking attempt while the third continued to charge in a straight line, all three flailing the chains of their Kusari Gama. The enemy shinobi sliced his blade clean through the one charging straight for him and he vanished in a poof. Then the enemy dispatched the other clone, but then the real Kuraiyume let his chain go and successfully grappled the enemy. Then he did some hand symbols with his free hand and passed an electric charge through the chain, electrocuting the enemy. He passed out, and Kuraiyume let him lie there while joining Hayaiko.

Meanwhile, Chi Hana and Taiyouhi charged at the remaining two shinobi. When they got somewhat close, Taiyouhi vanished in a poof of smoke and reappeared several feet in the air behind one of the shinobi, throwing three shurikens. They became embedded in the enemy's flesh, but he remained standing and turned to face Taiyouhi, who had landed. Chi Hana then threw thorn needles at the shinobi, who had turned his back on her to face Taiyouhi. They embedded themselves in his back as well, and when he was busy cringing in pain, Taiyouhi charged forwards and drew his two kama yari. He slashed the enemy in a brutal succession and left his mangled corpse bleeding on the ground. They turned to face the final shinobi, but he had gone, and they saw his shadow in the distance carrying the electrocuted shinobi away.

"Darn, he got away!" Taiyouhi yelled angrily.

"Yes, but no matter, we're all alive and unscathed," Hayaiko said, smiling.

"It's a shame though that the enemy couldn't have sent some competent shinobi to fight us. They didn't even get an attack off, against a bunch of genin!" Chi Hana jutted in.

Kuraiyume just stood and smiled. He always took pride in the exceptional skill of his Genin: after all, he had trained them.

"Good work, my students. Now we must get back on our course. We haven't gone too far south, so we should still head due east and we'll get to our destination," he said. "Let us make haste, lest we be attacked by someone who knows how to fight."

"Wait sensei!" Taiyouhi yelled. He collected their headbands. They were from the water nation. "Ok, I'm ready." With that, they renewed their journey.

((If this was in response to my fight, then there was a single unwounded ninja carrying a comatose ninja. Also, your first sentence doesn't have a subject. The rest is good though.))

Ratualy was walking through the village to were all the genin are to go in order to resave their squad number and the other members of their squads and their sensei’s. ‘Oh great who am I going to be stuck with on my team, hopefully none of them will be to pathetic’ he thought to himself as he past the shops. He was the first to arrived at the academy, so he had headed to the back of the room and sat at the desk farthest from the door.

((There are 3 dead shinobi. Two were stabbed through the heart and one is completely mangled, has shurikens and thorns embedded in his back, and has slash marks all over the front of his body. Details, details, details... watch them, they're what seperates a good RPer from a bad one, and I can tell you're a good one.))

Kuraiyume didn't want to take any more chances, so he kept his Byakugan activated. He'd keep it that way until he reached the Final Forest; the safety ensurance was worth the slight chakra drain it would cause. Then he noticed chakra coils coming from behind him, which he found strange, because he didn't sense a body, just chakra coils... and a shadow. He started doing hand symbols for a lightning strike jutsu with his free hand.

((Yeah, sorry that I'm totally stuck up and obsessive, but I'm obsessed with Naruto, obsessed with RPing, and generally just obsessive and compulsive, so please excuse me.))
