Zeth stood up and thought about what could've happend
"The murderer is walking in a large group about 15 to 20 meters away from Ledif and Ynot. A Thief comes up and tries to take his money, but grabs the blaster instead, they fight over the gun and fire, killing Ledif.
The shock scares the two away and run off in different directions. During the confusion, the murderer takes the Ion blaster and shoots the camera......but the shooting of the camera may have happend before Ledif's murder...."

Mr. Edge "if the camera was shot the guard would have noticed, as well as other personell of the club, most likely. Besides the chance is larger the camera would be disabled by a blast, ruling out the chance the camera was shot by approximatly 95%" "Waht if it was shot during thaat riot?" Glacian asked, "The Ion blast would still be in effect up till now wouldn't it master?" Glacian felt it ironic that an accident from another problem would have a large effect on another case like this. But iit was possible, so he had to consider it.

"It is a possibilty, but I doubt that the 45 minutes time were not enough to change the camera, or at least shut it off so the ion damage wouldn't break it any further..
In any way, I'm sill suprised that the guard could take away those records this easy...in just 2 minutes he could have put a blur filter on and downloaded them, but to convince his boss to take them? Small chance. They always try to keep such records indoor, they're even instructed to. I wonder if he even asked his boss to take them. And, why did he cooperate with Hsub, why did he modify them? They didn't seem to know eachother... Before you go and take any action, notify me with the plan"

"Huummm," Glacian thought for a minute and then said, "Does the droid have any info on the guard? Maybe he did know one of these people. Even if he didn't maybe they paid him to alter the video. And if he did alter the video feed with a blur filter or something, Isis and I sould be able to resote it."

"Not necisarry. When I had some 'stomach pains', I in fact went to the boss of the resort, asking if he had given the guard permission to take those files. As I expected, he did not. Not only that, but with some slight persuasion I also convinced him to give me the real files. Here they are."
[The camera shows the same images, but now clear. Hsub has never been in the cantina during the time she told to be in, she is not visible on the security tapes]
"I think another visit to the security records would also clear the talk between the guard and Hsub in the hall, we should easily see if she paid him off or not"

"I didn't recognize the victim until you told me... I vaguely remember that case, it never really appeared in my mind again. So don't expect I feel sorry for my decision back then. I got payed by Ledif if I am correct back then. Too bad he died, he was a good spender..."

"An interesting development...Hsub could easily be our shooter and mostly likely is. It would make sense after all, she was the only one in the group who was away from the group during the shooting.
Also the young prostitute could have easily persuaded the two suspects to be there at the time it occured."

When Glacian heard about what the guard's relation was, he had a new thought. "What if..the guard had a falling out with the victim and sense he already seemed to have a beef with Maddas because his favoritist actions in the protistue district showed it, maybe he felt that Maddas was a good person to frame for the crime. But I still don't know what would make the guard want to kill his appearent friend. Maybe he owed him money and wasn't paying even though he now had the money to do so."
Glacian took a deep breath before saying, "What do you think Master, am I on the right path?"

"So, we have A muderer and some accomplises in this case. One thing we know for sure, is that it wasn't done alone. This was a planned hit. and the two suspects may be up for a frame job.....I think Hsub knows more than what she has told us. Master, have any more weapons been found in the immediate area?"

"She could, still I don't believe she did. At least not Maddas. He was just the wrong person, in the wrong place. And well, being scared at that moment isn't the best thing, makes you look suspicious"

Anyway, this was the first time since my wife got shot I went out, some friends would meet me downstreet... Someone else would take care of my children for now, together with my wife... but at the moment the fight started I just wanted to go home, and ran...ran back, I'd call off my friends later"
The still sad looking Maddas answered in a slow, low voice, but he was believable, certainly.

Though I agre with Diamond. When we got her the two girls sees very entent on getting one of the men convited. they didn't which one just that they wanted one convited and that doesn't seem right... Kari said thinking how or why the girls would want the vic dead.

Still, we aren't sure why Hsub would have killed him, because they were just friends and Hsub wasn't the one that would get the money if he'd die, as far as I know"

"Maybe you did have reason....You've known Ledif for three years, around the time Ledif fought with Maddas. You've been 'Friends' with him for that long, yet you wanted to be more than friends. I think you were jealous of Ynot because he loved her and not you......I smell Jealousy here"

unless, said kari thinking. If Ynot and Hsub also made a deal, they would back each others story up and with the guard she would be able to make it seem they had nothing to do with it and then could all split the money.

"I cashed it at the bank this morning, because of the recent fraude with cards I expected that to be safer. I left the money at home now"
"And since you deposed the money at the bank less then a week ago, and banks have the rule they cannot spend or invest money in the week after it is brought to them, may the owner need those specific credits for a reason, they had to give you back the cash from your personal safe.. besides that, all credits were from the same series, so easy to compare with the 5000 Ledif had on him, may we find it needfull"
