((I have every right to be angry, you won't leave me alone. IT'S JUST A SPOT IN A RP! Get over it, will you? What are you going to do? Hold a grudge against me your whole life because you didn't get taken as the rat? It's not like mine is the only Fruits Basket RP. And if you must, just go make your own Fruits Basket RP.))

The sky was distraction enough as Katsuya gazed out the window in hopes of tuning out whatever her aunt was on about. She sat on a cusion with her chin in her palm, leaning on the low table and looking away from her aunt. It seemed that lecturing Katsuya about getting her own apartment or finding a job or switching schools, or anything else Aunt Suzu could think of, was becoming an everyday routine. She was so high-strung ever since Hikaru had decided that Katsuya could no longer live with her in the Sohma Estate. Now Katsu was used to simply ignoring her aunt's speechs or not staying around long enough to give her a chance to start. It was getting ridiculously annoying, and it appeared that as Katsu stared out the window she was completely unaware that her overly concerned aunt was even speaking to her. It took several long moments of this before it dawned on Suzu that the girl was not even listening. Frustrated and even more worried, she sighed heavily and placed two fingers to her temple as her eyes closed and her other hand sat on her hip. "Why do I bother? When am I ever going to get through to you, child!? Are you even listening to me?" she asked, turning to face Katsu. The obviously distant girl blinked and looked over at the fussing woman with a blank expression. "Did you say something?" she asked, truly oblivious to her aunt's rambling. Katsu stood up and headed for the door, then hunched over to put her shoes back on. She was halfway out the sliding door before her aunt had the time to ask where on earth she was going. Katsu ignored this and headed towards the main entrance of the estate. As she walked, hands in the pockets of her dark purple hoodie, she noticed quite the commotion from what she beleived to be Tokaru's home. Even more reason to leave. She had no intention of seeing any other zodiac members. As she walked, she realized her longing for one of her favorite chocolatey frapps they always had at the bookstore she knew to be only a block or so away. She hastily started towards it and felt oddly comforted as she walked into the quiet and warm building. But this feeling died a little as she couldn't help thinking of all the shelves full of hundreds of books telling their wonderous stories of people all living happily ever after. Something she would never know. Suddenly feeling a small surge of depression, she knew she had to get her chocalate frapp fast before these thoughts took root. Once the chocolate concoction was safely in hand, she turned to leave again, when suddenly she turned to see none other than Taiyo sitting at a table only a few feet away. She'd stopped in mid-step, gazing at him, frozen as she'd just started to stir the whipped cream in with her frapp.

((Seriously... who cares? Just move on. Things didn't go the way you wanted them to, oh well, life goes on. And if you're not even involved in this rp, which was by your own choice since you didn't want any other character, then why even press the matter of being on the blacklist? You were out voted, you sent the owner of this thread a seemingly rude pm. Basically you brought her actions upon you on yourself. Just drop it already.))

((My point is that I didn't get to be the rat. My point is that I've been judged for something that your precious leader misread. If you'd look, i didn't say you were a sexist, I said it seemed like the situation was. I didn't even get a chance. It wasn't fair, and I didn't send her a PM because I was angry. She didn't tell the whole story.))

((Alright fine this is the whole story: 1- I said I had a friend who was thinking of being the rat 2- I got two PMs requesting to be the rat, the friend of mine and Staci Dragoon's 3- I made a poll 4- Staci Dragoon was out-voted 5- Staci Dragoon PMed me and said: Staci Dragoon xXvitaminXx Sorry but hunter's won the vote... Sorry about that. But I was hoping to delete all OOC posts from the thread before I started the RP so could you delete your OOC posts please? Thanks. Not to be mean but, it wasn't a very fair vote. I understood the fact that you wanted more guys, but I found that to be very sexist of you.It clearly says "I found that to be very sexist of YOU." Not the situation, the sexist statement was directed at me. Now could you just leave the rest of us to continue with our RP?))

((All that aside, the situation couldn't really be sexist. All of us just didn't want to have too many girl characters playing what would have originally been guys. And since alot of that was happening (my chara as an example) we wanted even out the guy-girl ratio by having a guy play the rat. Is that so hard to accept? It was nothing against you personally and had nothing to do with being sexist. It was just how the majority wanted the rp to work out. Sorry that you were misunderstood, but honestly, does it really matter? By making a big deal out of it you're really just making matters worse for yourself. You could have had another character if you wanted, but instead you made a big thing about not getting what you wanted and started to point out little excuses that would possibly prove why you should have gotten the rat. But still... it's not really all that big of a deal.
And sorry about spamming up the thread with OOC posts, but this is really annoying me now.))

((I know, I thought this was settled after the poll... Hopefully it won't go on for so long. I think we should delete our OOC posts once this is settled, hopefully soon.
ALSO: it wouldn't have been fair if you weren't even considered. But you were, you were considered for the spot. If there was no vote it wouldn't have been fair. But there was a vote, and hunter won so he took the spot. And like people have been saying a few times, you can't exactly have a romance RP with girls heavily out numbering guys.
Well, while she's offline we can go on with the RP.))

((Don't think me rude, but i'm going to stay out of this. I'm not one for debates of this kind))
Tokaru was still pouring over the ingredients when Chris annonuced his departure. She pouted for a moment and waved as her cousin left. She was so happy to see everyone stop by but she was always sad when they left so suddenly. She gave a small smile. "I'll drop a piece of cake off at your house." She wasn't going to let the subject of the cake drop.
Taiyo glanced back from the clock as his last five minutes of break time ened only to see Katsuya leaving the coffee counter of the bookstore. He didn't have a problem with Katsuya but unlike his sister he wasn't about to run over and greet any memeber of the zodiac. He nodded in acknowledgement to his relative, it was sort of an awkward chance meeting and he wondered what Katsuya was doing in a bookstore, he judged people quickly and she didn't seem like the person who read too much. He glanced over at the coffee in her hand and wondered if that was the whole reason she came to the store.
He glanced back over at the clock and picked up the paper bag sitting next to his table as he stood up. He knew if he didn't pretend to be working soon, he would probably be in trouble, but then again sohma's had an advantage when it came to the bussiness world. Finally after some contemplation he managed a greeting, "Hey Katsuya."

((That's probably a better idea at this point...))
She could feel the heat rising in her face as it dawned on her what it must look like. Katsuya really wasn't one to waste her time reading, she had no patience or desire for it and couldn't think of a time when she had picked up a book unless forced to. Now that she'd been spotted here, by someone who knew her no less, her impulse was to defend her apathy for books. But honestly she didn't have the patience for that either. She wanted nothing more than to dissolve into the carpet or turn on the spot and act like she hadn't seen him at all. But it was too late, Taiyo had looked up and already nodded in her direction, an obvious sign that he'd noticed her. Despite the extreme desire to just walk passed and blow him off, she nodded back as he stood. He was directly in the path towards the door and she had no choice but to walk forward and return his full acknowledgement. "Taiyo..." she said quietly, her cheeks resembling a deep scarlet color in comparison to her lightly tan skin. She'd never had a full on conversation with Taiyo, but something about him always through her off beat. She never really knew why his presence affected her so.

He figured she'd just storm off she often did when confronted by other members of the zodiac. He wasn't going to intrude and ask why she was here, especially at a book store and wondered if she was confused as he was, Taiyo wasn't the type of person who read much, he just needed a job and the store was hiring. "I work here." He said simply trying to read her facial her expressions best he could.
Studying her face more he wondered if she was embarrased , being caught at a book store. He thought it was a rather silly thing to be embarrassed about but Katsuya sort of had an image as a rather tough person. "It's none of my bussiness why you're here. So you don't have to worry about anyone finding out if that's what you're worried about." He pointed at the coffee cup as he walked forward, "Enjoy your coffee." He said and walked past her onto the registers. He'd already braced himself, knowing how defensive Katsuya was, he was sure it was a matter of time before the yelling and threats started.

"Sure, I'll see you two later," smiling widely he waved back at the pair. As he closed the door behind him Chris pulled his backpack over his shoulder again as it was slipping down his shoulder. All he could think about was how muc he wanted to get out of there as fast a he could without bumping into Hikaru. It started out as a fast walk, turned into a light jog then broke in to an all-out dash as he made for the main gates.
Once out of the estate Chris slowed down, feeling a little calmer than a minute ago. The house wasn't too far from the Sohma Estate since Satoshi had to vist often but Chris was just relieved not to be in that house. When he lived there everything seemed closed off from him, out of his grasp, forbidden to him and the other zodiacs... It was the material prison to him, but getting out of the house wasn't all. Or so he learned in the past while.
As he walked on the path deep in his thoughts Chris almost didn't notice the tent pitched in a small clearing. 'But all this land belongs to us, I think...' curious, Chris walked over to it. Empty. Nobody was there at the moment... Who lives or lived there?
