Charna bowed her head in a 'show' of respect, "Very well." she said and she moved so she would be moving around his territory, not wanting to get into a fight because she accidentally stepped on a flower in his territory.

Torvamund stayed still and attentive to Charna, keeping a close 'watch' on her. His tongue flailed out of his mouth rapidly as he picked up her scent, making sure she was moving on.
"Good," He grunted. "It's so rare to find a Kitsusagi who actually respects the bounds of nature."
Without warning, he raised his head and made another loud roar, teeth bared. It was almost as if the Nightmare was announcing his power and strength to the world around him. After another moment he lowered his head, an annoyed loud snort escaping him.
"You havent... noticed any other Kitsusagi around here, have you, female?"

She flicked her tongue as she paused, making it look like she was thinking, "I caught the scent of a flying one heading in the direction to your left." she said, the opposite direction of her home, "He was cackling about trampling more plants and burning down more trees. I caught the scent as if he was burning." she growled.

Torvamund made an irritable growl, stepping out of the bounds of his territory.
"You caught it's scent?" He seemed quite interested at this statement, tails wagging behind him. "Did you catch where it went? I wish to... find that very creature and teach it a lesson. It's stolen something from me, and I need to get it back."

"It was only for a moment when I caught it and then it seemed to disappear, like most fliers scents goes. I could point you in the direction I felt it go if that will be of help to you." she said, feigning indifference to what this Nitemare would do if he went after Igni.

"Fliers..." The Nightmare snapped his jaws at the air for a moment, as if biting at the very thought of flying Kitsusagis. "Somebody needs to pin them down, one by one, and tear the wings off their backs. Stupid overconfident ignorant wenches..." A low rumble escaped him. "Why, if I ever catch a flyer, I am going to bite through it's wings and drag it off to its death."
He smirked at Charna. "Please do point me in the right direction, kind madam. It would be most helpful."

It took everything Charna had not to growl and lunge at him herself and then rip those spines off his back with her own maw, just so he would know what a flier would go through. She padded up to him slowly, not wanting to give him the impression she was going to attack and she slowly pushed the tip of her beaked muzzle against his cheek to turn his head in the direction she 'smelt' the flier go off to.

Torvamund made a soft contented purr as he was nudged, and then moved away in the indicated direction, blue tongue flicking out of his mouth as he tried to pick up any scent he could find.
"Come out, come out wherever you are..." He snickered, and began to pad away. "Are you sure it was the firesprite?" He swayed his tails again. "Though I don't suppose it matters... any flier will do, really..."

Charna repressed the urge to snap at his muzzle when he purred at her, "I do not know what exactly a firesprite is, all I know is he smelled like something burning and he was laughing about 'burning down more of the old cot's precious plants' I would go after him myself, but I do not wish to harm the plants of your land and I am must find my mate and daughter." she said, stepping back.

"A sprite is a creature of legend, one who usually exists solely to cause mischeif." Torvamund began to explain. "Like an an elf, a pixie, a faerie, or a sidhe. And from what you are describing, that description sounds about right..."
He continued to walk away from Charna, wandering away from the forest altogether, taking one of the many paths that led away. He continued to flick out his tongue, still searching the area around him.
"There has to be a flier somewhere..."

Charna stayed where she, flicking her tongue as his scent got further and further away. She then turned herself and wandered away from his territory, but not home, not yet. She didn't want to raise any suspicions, so she continued to wander about silently. Once she was sure that male wasn't around her anymore, she lifted up her head, "I think it is safe for you to come down now." she called.

Igniculus stayed high in the tree, crouched against it's branches, silent, purple eyes attentively watching the scene below. Once he figured the coast was clear, he jumped out of the high tree, using his wings to gently glide down onto the ground again.
"Thanks," He said quietly "But.. where do you suppose he's headed? Not back to your home, I hope..."

She shook her head as she started padding, indicating for him to follow, "No, the way he is going is into his territory, away from my home. Hopefully he will be too consumed with finding you he won't go after anyone from my family. Though I would have liked to tear into his hide..." she growled.

"Yeah, he isn't a very nice guy at all... hopefully he'll just wander and keep on wandering miles away from here." Igni released a heavy sigh from his lungs, but he had to admit that he was still worried. "Just as long as you guys are going to be safe. If anything happened now, it would be my fault."

"We will be prepared, we aren't as helpless as you might think." she said as she flicked her tongue about, anxious to get home and check up on Adjo.
