"Where are we heading to again? I've only just jumped on this band wagon".

Vaek stared at Quint. "Thanks fot that." Just then, another wolf jumped from underneath the bridge and sank its jaws into his broken arm. Vaek screamed in pain and tried to shake it off. Finally, Geode turned into the boulder and bashed the wolf into the river below. Vaek slowly dropped to his knees, clutching his arm.

"I can't die. Not now."

"Stay calm. You'll be all right."

Damn Vaek are you okay? Helena rushed over to him and kneeled down. Someone help him! Cairne...please do something...We have to stick together and he is our leader.

"Shutup Vaek, if you want to use this arm again then sit down and let me do what I can. Since we're without a water adept we don't really have much in the way of healing. Anyone have any salves? No that won't help, it's no good going through the cave untill we can actually get you stable."

"First things first we should get that arm fixed up as best we can." He went to a nearby tree and broke off a limb. Pulling some medical wrap from his bag he started to clean the wounds. "Damn wolves, lets just hope that they didn't have rabies. This is going to sting a bit." He poured a bit of lliquid from a clear bottle onto the wound. It fizzed a bit.

Once that was done he wiped the excess off and began bandaging the wound. "Helena, put some pressure on this while I get the splint ready. The rest of your keep those damn wolves back."

Cairne set to work on the splint. 'Damn it, this isn't very good. I can't have the key to this mission dying before we get to the first lighthouse.'

"He's our leader, and I don't think I could stand you people without him to keep your mouths shut without breaking something anyway. Just keep your mouth shut unless you see something important."

Finishing the splint he began wrapping it on Vaeks arm. He continued to wrap his arm up in a cast to make sure the bone didn't heal weird. "Now just don't use that arm for awhile and you might be able to use it. That is if there aren't any more creatures trying to eat it that is." The same bloody smile came across Cairnes face again. "Lets continue moving before we find something else that can kill us."

Turning again to Helena, "This time there shouldn't be any interruptions. You still havn't answered my question. What took ya so long to get to Vault?"

"Cairne, always a pain in my a**" Quint said chuckling to himself

Vaek looked at the splint. "Wow. Thanks a lot Cairne. I was getting tired of being a burden." He turned back to Helena. "We're still heading for Biblin Cave, so let's go before more wolves come back." He left Cairne and Helena alone, seeing that they really wanted to be by themselves for a while, and got back to the front of the group.

A couple hours later, they reached the entrance of the cave. "Well, this is Biblin Cave, but that log is trapped whithin those vines. I can't move it from here like that." He turned to Quint. "Quint, you know what to do."

"Great. Now we can enter the cave. Be careful guys. There may be worse things than wolves and bandits in this place." Vaek led the group into the cave.

"I just hope our prescence goes unoticed."

"We'll be fine here."

"You seem very confident."

"Well, now that my arm is at least stable. I can fight with the other arm."

"Don't push yourself too hard."
