Gay, straight, whatever... But it sure seems like he's in love with Roxas. Whether it's unrequited or not. Some of the things he says in the game don't seem like things normal friends would say to or about each other.
I think he is gay. e.e

I'm not a big yaoi fangirl, I prefer friendships and shonen-ai instead of yaoi .. or whatever >__> But yeah, I think that Axel loves Roxas and his "confession" was when he died. Sure, you could say the same thing while dying about your best friend but in this case, I think Axel's gay.
And I saw that one people said that he wasnt gay cause of his voice. Bullshit. I know a gay guy who's voice isnt all "gay-ish" and "girly". He sounds like anyday man. And he looks normal. You dont have to be a cross-dresser and sound like a sissy girl to be gay >__>

Dusk One Every last one of you are jackasses. Roxas nor Axel is gay. It's from Japan dumbass that's how they do it over there. Yaoi girls only say Axel's gay so they can have one more thing to masturbate alone in their rooms about. Why would Axel be gay? Just because he says he'd miss Roxas doesn't mean it. I'm sure the game didn't mean for him to sound gay, I mean, the story line in kingdom hearts 358/2 days show how him Roxas, and Xion are the best of friends even without hearts. (P.S. Is it necessary to call other people gay because of their opinion? Be a little more reasonable please)
*sniffs* Axel, Roxas, and Xion have such a beautiful friendship, they're all looking out for each other, like the other time when Xion fainted and Axel and Roxas were so worried.
