"That's fine." She said walking over to a shelf with many vanilla files and other strange file holders. She skimmed over them grabbing a very thick beaten up one with stains on it and walked to the Table he was at sitting down with him on the stool, crossing her legs as her eyes scanned the front of the folder before she flipped it open. " Don't be so libid eh? I wont bite you...not unless I have to." She smirked as she flipped the first page and bit her lip looking at the scimatics of her heart.

Daniel laughed a bit, as he stood and retrieved a book of Edgar Allen Poe's works, returning to sit next to River. Setting the book in his lap, he let out a small sigh. "Remember how I said that I wanted to explain my emotions that could not be expressed through the immaturity and misunderstanding of the 'L' word? Can I do that now?"

River riased a brow at him as she flipped through the notes on the workings of her heart getting to the part where the outside contact of re-starting it was and stopped being very quiet for a moment opening her mouth to speak after several minutes. "...If you would wish to try and explain the Trivial Emotion which you cannot use the 'L' word for then you are very welcome to do so. I will listen." She looked up at him having scattered many papers out of the folder in piles the strange writing un-ledgable by any Human. "It might help my understanding of how people can feel this way without using that dispicable distasteful sour word which holds no meaning after being used out of context so much."

Daneil shook his head, with a small smile. "Yes, it is a childish phrase." He sighed for a moment, before propping his chin in his hand, and elbow on the table. "River, I find myself wanting to be in your presence when I am not, and admiring qualities about you that make me appreciate you more with every day it seems. There are so many things about you that I enjoy, including amongst other things, your patience to talk to me through my notes. And wrapped up in this is an odd, childish feeling want to be accepted by you so I may get the chance to know you better, and let you feel some sort of appreciation for me, too." Biting his lip after his little mini-speech, Daniel was unsure if he'd truly said everything he had meant to, or left anything out... But, his words were sincere, as his chocolate eyes searched hers of onyx, and his hair stayed put, silken and unmoving like the time that suspended the small moment.

"So you Admire me..." River muttered to herself more then to him as she mulled over his words looking down at the paper again turning it to look at the next page. "...Daniel, I do Accept you as a person- a Man no less- And not a thing in the world will change that unless I catch you hurting my Kits. You wish to know me better? I can deal with your want for knowlage because I myself am curious about Humans and other creatures as well. It is not an obsession though- and it has never mutated into something more then Respect or Admiration. But, Above all I understand kind of what you are saying and I will gladly engage in a friendly cort ship with you-Not a relation ship, not a marrage, not a date, not anything that has to do with something I can't control." She paused Onyx eyes soft in thought as they traveled back to Daniels, there where flawed with a bit of understanding but other then that hollow like they are usualy when she is thinking. "Which means any Affection from you has to be within the Range of family matters but no further then that.You Understand my reasonings and if you don't I'll be glad to explain further in your advances to know more about how I was built..."

After a few moments, Daniel gave a small nod, eyes almost saddening a bit. She thought that unless they were strictly as friends that she could not be in control? This made Daniel spare a small frown, as he absorbed the rest of what she said. And, also, no affection. His dreams of holding her would have to stay dreams. "Yes, River." It summed up everything she had said, and answered it all aptly, with another small nod from him.

Scanning him a moment more she sighed, "What do you want from me, Daniel? You tell me nothing. What you said explains a little but does not tell me what you wish to achive from learning about me." River furrowed her brow at him, "Maybe You just don't understand that I was Created from scratch three hundred years ago and that I was not giving the mental compacity for anything past Short-lived bursts of affection. And I refuse to change myself to please another. Don't you get it?" Her voice was so smooth so calm her talking was spoken in a light way not serious or angry just there. "I can't give you what you want unless you tell me exactly what you expect from me." Silence was suddenly engulfing her as she stood and walked towards another shelf pulling out a small book walking back towards him. "Let me show you what I can do- what I can manage without going into absolute shock." She sat back down and opened the book flipping through the pages.

Carefully and unsure of himself, Daniel reached up a hand to set on River's arm, as if asking her to stop. "River, I don't want you to change for me. I ... I am completely happy with how you are, now. I suppose if I had to say that there is anything to achieve from becoming closer to you.. It would be for I to change, and you would be glad to be around me? Maybe even for you to enjoy a hug of mine? I mean.. I don't know..." Sighing again, Daniel remove dhis hand, and rest them in his lap, bare spine slightly curved as he kept hsi chin in his hand.

She paused in her flipping to think on this, "Don't change." She said flatly closing the book since he instructed her to stop her onyx eyes scanning him shortly. "Alright? Don't Change we won't change And Hugs I recive them all the time so it's not like I don't enjoy them. But after a while that gets old. There are other ways of Showing brotherly affection but you are not Family do you not want to be close?" Her brow creased in slight confusion sighing softly herself as she stood up, leaving the file open. "...I am So sorry Daniel-san but I can't Love you like you think you love me." Her eyes close the black that rings her eyes made her eye lids look darker- opening them again she sighed. " I have tried once and It failed- and I tried again and It failed- I wasn't built to Love, to even care about something. I was built to conduct destruction like an orcistra. I've already changed alot..." Sighing softly she looked at the shelves a small smile creeping along her face, "I Love my Children because they are my Family and Love me with Family in mind. When I try and Love someone in a relationship I can not. I Really Can't, no matter what people say about me they don't know how I was built I am not human I really just Cant-Its like a solid mass trying to pass another solid mass. It's not possible unless one of them changes. and I refuse to let you or I change. If only I knew how to better explain myself to you I would.."

Daniel wanted to protest. He would change. He wanted her to ... just... See. To see that she already had changed so much that she really was capable of this. "I do want to be close. But, not if you do not want to try." He stood, smiling back at her for a moment. "But, if you wish to Love for me as families love, then I will settle for that. It will make me happy- More than happy, even! I would be honored."

River blinked at him and Smiled to him, "Yes of course.." She said softly looking over the Files, "But If you are Family you will treat my Children with the upmost respect and clean up after yourself as they do." She murmured blinking slowly rubbing her eyes after. "I don't sleep-Ever. Don't try and get me too alright? I will treat you as a brother if it so pleases you. But I don't believe Kaden will treat you like an uncle...much so please excuse him he is only eight. Sasori doesn't speak to people he doesn't know so please don't be offended by it and don't under any situation go into the room where my Collection of dolls is. People are not allowed to be in there anymore," She wrung her hands a bit thinking of anything else she might need to tell him, the small smile still playing across her lips. " Town is over the Dunes, You exit the front door and enter there. Do not bring anyone back to my home; I hate people more then anything right now." She nodded slowly, "Feel free to roam, come let me show you the Kitchen, and....introduce you to my kits. If you please." She blinked and motioned him to fallow walking slowly- not bothering to wait for him.

Daniel blinked for a moment, before standing and rushing after her, feet quiet, yet a bit clumsy as he followed. He absorbed everything she said, and tried to remember it for later, if he ever needed to get anything. Letting his hands slip into the pockets of his slacks, Daniel followed happily. "I am going to bed after this, River."

"alright.." She said whistling extremely loudly as they entered her very large kitchen. The dark marble counter making a 'C' as it wound around the Fridge, a chef's kitchen. It was large and open two small couches in the room as well. "This is where we all eat, at that table over there. It is Japanese styled I realize and I don't care." She murmured as Kaden scurried in quickly with Sasori both boys where out of breath.
"Y-yes, Toto-san?" Kaden asked swallowing as he gathered himself or tried to.
"Kaden, Sasori this is Daniel-san. Remember the name, and be cautious because he sleeps unlike me." She remarked both boys bowed Sasori serving him a strange face.

Daniel smiled in a friendly way, returning their bow with a bow of his head. "It is good to meet you." he greeted kindly, before nodding his head to River. "Goodnight, Miss river." With that, he exited the kitchen and carefully made his way back to his room, already starting to get to know the house better. Once in his room, he took off the pants and flopped onto the bed.

When Daniel was out of sight Both boys took off and River watched them as they slid the door open then closed the paper like door running down the deck."...Stupid kids.." She murmured with a smile grabbing a glass and filling it with water.
