October sat down and kicked his legs out, throwing the jacket on an empty chair next to him. It didn't matter how loud, noisy, or crazy the surroundings, if he opened that book nothing could disturb him. He placed the dusty tome on the table in front of him and fingered the cover lovingly, tracing it's edges with delicate fingers as he gave a rather sidelong look at Avery.. "So... why don't you tell us a little about yourself.. you look like you've had a rough night..."
October could be very sensual when he wanted to be, and he knew that Rose he could get a rise out of Rose this way. She was always so... quiet, it was his brotherly duty to annoy her occationally.

Rose's eyebrow quirked at her brother's show of careless action. What was he doing? Oh he had better not be...
Oh he was. That, that... what a difficult boy he could be. Shaking her head, she fluttered her fingers down through her long mane, letting the ringlets bop against her shoulders before settling again.
She needed a lap harp. Yes, that was it. Perhaps, later, October could help her find one. If he didn't have his head in other places of course...

"Oh there isn't much to talk about actually. I'm pretty plain right?" he said shrugging and trying his best to seem completely bland.
Like hell he was telling a complete stranger anything about him or even a possible john for that matter.
Watching him trace the book with his finger. He gathered from that action that he loved that book a lot.
"Family heirloom?" he asked pointing at the book.

October leaned toward Avery and unbuttoned the top button on his dress shirt. "You could say that, it's been in our family for quite a long time. I just enjoy the verses found within... and sometimes there are so few things that can bring a body joy..."
It was more the tone then it was the words that seemed flirtatious. October's eyes scanned over to Rose for a moment, he couldn't help a flicker of amusment. Rose had never really liked sharing.

Hooper scooted back in his seat, trying to sit up. He coughed a bit, setting his drink in front of him on the table. He wished he'd stayed home now...but if he was going to go...he was going out with fun. He looked around, thinking he might not be able to dance...but surely there was someone he could while the time away with.
Adam moved closer to the table Avery sat at now. He smirked as he passed, heading back towards the stairs. He figured he'd better talk to the Prince and his his own Hillary Clinton before bringing anyone upstairs.

Rose gave a barely noticeable huff in her brother's direction before turning her head in disdain at his abrasively disgusting behaviour with the boy who he did not know. Hmph, he wasn't making a very good impression of himself.
Had he not heard of modesty? Apparently not, he needed another lesson in it. Reaching the back of her hand to her lips, Rosemary found herself attempting to stifle a yawn. Tired already? Odd for her, but it had been a long day, and she wanted to go home.
Two's company, three's a crowd, and she was probably just as uncomfortable as Avery himself was.

Seeing the man from earlier pass by the table he smiled up at him tryng to be nice. He didn't feel like getting his butt handed to him cause he didn't give a guy a smile.
Looking back at October when he leaned forward and undid his button he couldn't help but run his tongue over his now dry lips. Why the hell was he hitting on hi so obviously?
Then he saw it the glance at Rosemary and he caught on. He was trying to make her jealous. Oh crap what have you gotten yourself dragged into Avery he thought as his mind took a dive for the worst.
"Really? Well it looks like it has seen many loving days being read by the people of your family." he said forcing a smile that was carefree.
"Besides I am sure your body has seen more then it's fair share of joy. I imagine people are just lining up with rare gifts to amuse you with." His voice dropped an octave as he settled back in his chair assuming a less tense pose.
Well now that he got that the guy was using him to make his sister jealous he stopped worrying about the situation. he had nothing to be cautious about as he was sure the second she left he would follow.

Bren came back down, looking almost pleased. He headed to the bar, setting a ferret up on his shoulder. He slid behind the bar and started looking for what he wanted. He saw Davey was still at the bar and grinned at him. "When the woman comes to find you, use the back door."

October cast a glance over to the bar and then drew his pale green eyes back to Avery. "Really.. you would imagine that? A geek like me having people line up at my doorstep.. now they do for my dear sister" He reached a hand over and gripped one of her's lightly, flattering her was always so much fun. He looked back over at Avery and arched a brow "I think I like you... what do you think Rose?"

"I think I'm tired..." the voice came back quietly as Rose turned and suddenly noticed the man walking off towards a set of stairs. She thought on it a moment, but paid little heed to it in the scheme of things.
The man behind the bar with the ferret was interesting though... well, the ferret anyways.

He saw a man come down the stairs that the man who had waved to him had gone up. Geeze high traffic tonight huh?
Hearing the questions he went to answer October until he took Rosemary's hand and said he liked him then made it out as though he was picking out a puppy from the pet store.
Was he about to leash him? Avery felt a quick start of fear as he suddenly realized that this had been a test to see if he was exceptable for the couple to take home. he had done a few jobs like this before but he didn't like them. he had decided against threesomes a while back after the treatment one of the couples had placed on him.
There was nothing quite like being ganged up on by two people intent on making you suffer for all the anxiety their parents had forced on them.
That and these two were borther and sister. A couple was one thing incest was another. That would make it a definite hundred dollar increase in price.

Bren set a few drinks on a tray, winked at Davey, then carried them to where the siblings and Avery sat. He set the tray on the table. He took the bottle and poured three shots. "Ye come here, ye don't order a drink. So, I have to bring ye something to lighten ye up. On thouse, but drink it quick."

October arched a brow as Avery seemed to be looking at him differently. He frowned a bit and leaned forward, "is there something the matter... you look like you'd swallowed something larger then your head..."
October would have been so amused if he could read minds, however he was just simply puzzled. He had just been telling Rose that he approved and that this guy wasn't going to be disembowled at his first mistake.

October turned his confused eyes away from Avery for a moment and picked up the shot glass, he turned it over in his hands and toasted the currier lightly before downing it quickly as requested.

Rose's eye watched the ferret man walk over to the group and stand close to Avery. He would be ferret man now and forever, regardless of his name.
He had a strange accent. But she didn't voice this opinion, October would likely disaprove of her doing so. Always the observer she watched and listened as October tried to make heads or tails out of the Avery boy.
It didn't seem to be going well.
She suddenly wished he would just read his damned book.

(he's not sitting with them...he's standing...and his accent is irish..it comes and goes depending how long he talks to Bently)
Bren nodded at October, "Aye, there ye go." He held a shot to Rosemary, "For the lady?"
