I've never really been able to get into Fantasy and Sci-Fi books of that level myself. Harry Potter's about as far as I go. sweatdrop

Tried it in high school. Don't know if I was just reading one of his off days or what, but it was so wretched that I was the only person in the class to turn in an unfavorable review for the "pick a book and review it" section.

I'm working on the Wayfarer Redemption series right now. I'm about to start the second book. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

One of my favorite Sci-Fi novels of all time is called "Sam Gunn, Unlimited." by Ben Bova. Really fun story about a reporter who's traveling around the habited universe to create a documentary on Sam Gunn, a notorious shyster/explorer who was recently sucked into a black hole.

Well it may be only me that likes it I dunno, you're actually the only person I've talked to that's actually read the books. Do you remeber which book you read?

I don't remember the name. It was about a boy in a village where people had to prove they had a magic power when they came of age, and he couldn't, so he went out on this quest to leave Xanth and ended up teaming up with this girl who was ugly/smart, normal/average, beautiful/dumb depending on what time of the month it was.

When they fire a 21 gun salute? They tend to use blanks, anyway.
