Laura was silent. She wanted to know what the Don was thinking and what would happen to her because of it. She thought hard and waited for him to say something.

Giovanni sighed, then asked "so how did you manage to wind up here?"

Laura scratched her head. "Lets see... I was either 9 or 10... I made a crash landing in the jet. I went wondering around for a while stealing food until I fell asleep a delivery truck. I woke up in the city and the truck driver caught me. I remember seeing you and Tony and the old Don outside one day eating, and I was going to steel some cause I was hungry, but one of the guys caught me. I kicked him in the shin and ran off. Then it started raining that night. I didn't know it was the mafia building, so I snuck in and wound up at the pantry. I ate a bunch of the food and fell asleep. The Bartender caught me the next morning and he said I had to work it all of the stuff I stole. I got mad, but agreed. That's kinda how it worked out." She said, slightly embarrassed.

"Ah, I see" Giovanni said, "though that's not what I meant. Perhaps I worded it wrong. I meant how did you wind up at that mansion?"

"Oh my bad. Excuse me. I was on a mission, cause I was bored. I found the guy, started to blend in, but the guy was stubborn and the order said he had to be alive. It ended up being a bar fight. Right when I was dropping him off, someone must have contacted the police. I knew if they caught me with the guy, the mafia would be in deep crap, so I left the guy at the door with someone and took off to distract the cops. Then when I was surrounded, I cried and played the 'stupid innocent rebellious teenager who's life wasn't fair' act. They must have gotten the wrong impression and dragged me back to the station. Then someone was reading an article about the girl's parents death, and how they didn't know if she was alive or not. She had a picture and I didn't have a name. Because she was such a huge diplomat, they increased the security around me, so I couldn't exactly kill them off. Then I got stuck at the mansion. Apparently the poor girl was related to the old witch."

"Well, that certainly was a strange turn of events, but at least everything is fine now...hopefully" Giovanni said. The limo was making haste away from the mansion before the police came.

"Yeah..." Laura agreed. "I'm a little surprised. Why did you decide to come yourself?" She asked.

"Well, Tony and Sami had run into some trouble during their mission and had to return. Sami was in pretty bad shape and had to be rushed down to the hospital area. I sent Tony down to make sure she was alright. Plus, I wanted to see what kind of place that was myself" Giovanni said.

"She's what?" Laura said with slight shock. She thought it over. 'I wonder if it was the sight of blood... She didn't seem like one with bloody hands.' Laura thought. "Never mind. I'll visit them when I get back." Laura sighed. 'At least Tony is ok... I hope...'

Laura turned her head and watched as they approached the mafia building.

After a little while, the limo pulled up to the front of the mafia headquarters. The driver got out and opened the door to let out Giovanni and everybody else.

Laura jumped out of the car and gave the don a slight bow. "Thank you very much. I'll repay the favor somehow. Excuse me, but I feel like I should go check on Tony and Sami." Laura said politely.
