he sat up and dug through his bag "yummy... sandwich" he laughed a little and bit in to it
he sighed and snuggled in to Alex a little "even if we sit in the back? were no one else sits or looks?"

"We can sit close...." He said sadly. He just wasn't ready to be out yet. He knew how complicated things would get if his team mates knew he was gay or bi or whatever he was.
she laughed at him and shielded her head from crumbs.

he closed his eyes and sighed a little
he smiled at her "want some?" he had another sandwich in there

"Think you can spare one?" she said. Seeing him eat actually made her hungry.
"I'm sorry..." He kissed the top of his head and buried his face in his hair.

She smiled as she took the sandwich. "Thanks." She unwrapped it and took a big bit out of it.
"Your just saying that so I don't feel bad."

She ate half the sandwich before she noticed him watching. She blushed deeply. "Don't watch me." She said softly.
"I wish I had your guts to be open with this..... but I'm scared.... I'm scared at what the team will think and do..... the coach..... my parents. they aren't like your family E." He said as his stomach turned with guilt and worry.

"Can we just.... you know.... wait to let it all out..... I know its hard not to" He held Euclid a little tighter at the thought of his fathers reaction. Even worse was his grandfather.
"Well try..." She started to take tiny little bites as his watchful eyes look over at her. she was self conscious when people watched her eat. she felt like a heifer with how fast she ate sometimes.

"I know it will.... but we can be like this at your house when we tell them....... and I can come over a lot."

he sighed again and chewed his lip some more
he chuckled again and stared off in to the trees until she wasn't watching him and then he looked back at her and smiled

She finished her sandwich, "Thank you for the sandwich." She said again.
He kissed Euclid's cheek. "How can I cheer you up?" He asked softly.
