Linda Lee Danvers Remy _ LeBeau How odd. I was going thru some mules' items to see what I could send this account to sell and found an unopened March Thank You letter in one. SCORE! ... But I seriously don't know where the hell it came from.
Linda, I know I wanted the pup for Seyonne, did I mention getting the letter and then forgot about it? Which account was the letter on? Seyonne's...which is all the weirder because I only order letters on Remy's.

Linda Lee Danvers Father B.D. Robo Crush *debates reccomending the 'Wheel of Time' series* Several instances of that, but it's a long-a** and winding series that at this rate may not even see completion, horrible as the thought is.... emo I've read the first two books, and left with an incredible urge to smack Rand Al'Thor upside the head. Now she's thoroughly engrossed by Carol Berg's Ri'kiraih series. lol

He is indeed an idjit at times, and as I recall that was when he was all "OH NOES I CAN'T BE T3H DRAGON REBORN! gonk *b***h moan whine*" Father Blood Drench Robo Crush kept up with the series largely due to the Ash'aman that developed later and the fact that I read really quickly anyways.

About the point when Rand had four girls longing after him with no real accountable reason because he's so unlikable, I sorta put the book down.

I dig Jordan's stuff, but I think he lays too much to deus ex machina in its various One Power forms.

Linda Lee Danvers Check his private messages and see if he has a donation PM from Rina. Yup, got one. But that's just odd because I swear I don't remember getting it. Ah well. Now I either have the pup for Seyonne for that arc or the potential for serious gold. domokun (And Lindaaaa! Ryan's cheating! He's on IM but idle! Does that still count him being on IM?)

Yeah, Remy can give you the recommendation on the Carol Berg books. There's definite themes that echo Wheel of Time, and the main character of the books has a slight reeking of Mary Sue, but they're otherwise a fun read.

I have yet to turn a person to Carol Berg's direction that did not enjoy her work, especially her beginning trilogy.Linda Lee Danvers Yeah, Remy can give you the recommendation on the Carol Berg books. There's definite themes that echo Wheel of Time, and the main character of the books has a slight reeking of Mary Sue, but they're otherwise a fun read. Wait until the second and third book. It turns into anything BUT. The second is the most character (and story building) and the third is the best of the series.

I personally enjoyed the Wheel of Time books but I haven't gottent to read the latest. I can take or Leave Rand but I love reading about Perrin and Matt. It's not my favorite series but I like it. It sucks about Jordan's illness I hope he makes it through ok and gets the series finished. I'm currently really enjoying the Sword of Truth books and I'm re-reading the Xanth novels. Both of which IMHO are better than WoT.
