indeed. couldn't have said it all better myself!
also, I must submit that I felt that the mini-arc with The Shade ended WAY too hastily... confused I was upset that it was over in all of like... 3 pages. long, drawn-out sub-plots are simply better writing. and shades of grey keep things engaging, interesting and overall more exciting. one of teh reasons I'm so in love with Noir-Genre stories! ^_^
anywho, Nari, you'll find that clear black-&-white obviously-good and obviously-evil characters are neither the real story nor nearly as fun as dynamic and vague character motivations.

Nariana Charlotte better be a real character then. If we ever get those papers and get away, we'll find out, I guess. The point is that there's a buildup before finding out whether a character is a mole or not. It's no fun if we find out right away.

Chieftain Twilight and, now that you are on a username named after Sabe, should I keep Calling you Waffle, or ask to be reminded your new name? gonk GYAH! dizzyness! crying stupid identity complexities... emo This account is supposed to be an in-character novelty account, but Waffle/Maerua got accidentally banned by some overzealous admins. So it's either Jay or the name of whatever account I'm on. When (dare I say 'or if') I get my main account unbanned, Sabe will revert to his in-character self.

What do you mean by real? She is a real something. Her motivations and real and her goals are entirely real. After this, her storyline will be mostly reactionary since you all got something planned. Plus I haven't come up with a conclusion quite yet. There are few more pieces to set in place before I can consider writing anything like a conclusion.

I don't think you need a 'conclusion' or anything like that if you plan to have your character stick around. If Charlotte was meant to be a test run and you had something else in mind, then by all means an ending is fine. But this RP will probably keep running until the guild disbands or key players quit and s**t starts to fall apart. As for planning in general, just because we have things planned does not at all mean that you can't join in on the shenanigans. If anything, join us and plan some goodies or add your piece to a collab. The best thing about this RP is how so many separately made plans can run at the same time and not turn into a chaotic hellhole of edits and ninja posts. Yeah, I've got my appeal ticket put in, and I'm just waiting on a response. Omnimods take a bajillion years to get around to something. I'm supposed to get a response within two weeks' worth of business days lol.

Well, I didn't think of her as a trail run, but now that I don't need an ending for her. I'll rethink a few things. Oh, she'll be a bundle of fun. I hope she comes across as fun at least.
