"Is he avoiding me or does he not care for me anymore?" Sapphire asks downing the wine cooler. Then she thinks of the kiss. "No, he doesn't he still loves me, but then why is he avoiding me?" Sapphire asks to herself as she puts her head on the bar top.

Zyama stumbled downstairs still wearing his clothes from the other night. He obviously hasn't bathed or even shaved since then. The far away look in his eyes told anyone who'd care to notice him that he didn't notice them.
Zyama made his way to the bar and started warming some buttermilk.

Zyama Zyama stumbled downstairs still wearing his clothes from the other night. He obviously hasn't bathed or even shaved since then. The far away look in his eyes told anyone who'd care to notice him that he didn't notice them. Zyama made his way to the bar and started warming some buttermilk. Sapphire hears someone stumble down the stairs and gives a casual glance before turning back to the bar top sitting up and downing the rest of the wine cooler, and throwing the bottle into the trash as zyama came behind the bar, just missing him as she threw it.

Dreamer_of_Oceans Sapphire hears someone stumble down the stairs and gives a casual glance before turning back to the bar top sitting up and downing the rest of the wine cooler, and throwing the bottle into the trash as zyama came behind the bar, just missing him as she threw it. The bottle whizzing past his head jolted Zyama out of his stupor. He looked up to see Sapphire sitting at the bar; he immediately looked at his feet. "H-hi, S-s-sapphire..." he studdered at the floor.

I guess I"m mostly scared about thinking about making the commitment. I've seen so many of my friends get hurt after they've made it. I don't wnat that to happen to me. It scares me more than I can even imagine." He removed his hand when she flinched. "I don't know much about love and relationships, but I do know that if you can't open yourself up to pain, you won't open yourself up for love either." he sipped his drink, "I'm not asking you to make any commitments. Hell, I'm not even asking you to believe me. It's just what I've realized over the years."
