"Heaven?" Bakura guessed, knowing that he, at least, would probably hate all the white and pureness that the Christians of the modern world led all the others to believe. It would just be too bright. Ryou twisted a little, kissing Kira's cheek. He noticed that the palace was now in view. "Okay. And whatever happens, I still love you."

"yea but I really dont think they'd let seto in...hmm..I know!....no wait he'd kill them.....I'll think of somthing.." rei muttered.
"I love you too ryou." kira said kissing him back on the cheak "And ryou..." She sliped a small dagger from her dress and handed it to him "I want you to hide this...just in case ok?I dont trust any of them here."

"And I'm sure you'd come up with something." Bakura said mildly, kissing Rei lightly on the cheek, forgetting himself for a moment. He quickly tensed, pulling away from her. "Oops, right, almost forgot. I'm not 'your' Bakura. Sorry."
Ryou took it, pausing a moment as he felt the cool blade in his hand. "I bet that things would be much easier if we were just in the modern world..." He muttered unhappily.

Rei's cheaked turned slightly pink "Why did you do that?" she asked trying not to hit him.

[Indeed, he already partially has. Depends on what happens later. I'm not too sure on his feelings quite yet...]
Bakura hesitated a moment. Now, how could he answer this? He could give a half-hearted answer, some kind of shrug and mumble of being bored. Or he could be an a** and tell her that he just wanted to see if he could make Ryou jealous again. Oh, yes, he knew that Ryou had been jealous before when he kissed Rei when she was sleeping. Bakura chose the third option; honesty. "I guess I--" He started to say softly, but then he got a snappish mind link from Ryou. His hikari's head whipped over to look at the two fiercely, and Bakura almost felt like cringing. Of course he didn't, but he was a little thankful for Ryou's message. It snapped him back to reality. He shrugged, glancing off to the side. "Just wanted to..." He mumbled in a low voice.
Ryou sighed-- that had been a pretty close call. He looked away from the other pair on the horses, paying attention back to Kira. "Yes..." He said in a distracted voice.

Bakura fidgeted a little. "You should ask Kira to get that card from her..." What was this... Was he feeling shy? This was ridiculous. "But do you think it'd be okay if we left Bakura?" Ryou asked in a playful, hoping way.

"She's got Touzoukuou... uh, your Bakura... in this card. It's something her Millennium Eye can do." Bakura was seeming to be having trouble saying this. "Then if she releases his soul back into the body I can give him all his memories... about you... back." his sudden change of heart was rather sudden. "The smartest idea ever." Ryou agreed with a shy smile.

Rei's eyes widen slighly she rode up beside kira "gimmie the card."
"the wha..of want your bakura?Fine." Her eye glowed and the card dissappered and Touzoukuou was back in his own body.

Bakura knew the reason he had taken away the memories; he had thought his past self had grown far too soft, was distracted by his love for Rei. But as time passed, he realized that he was falling under the same kind of thing his past self had. He chose instead to have his past self be the one to be with Rei, because there was no way he would allow himself to become weak.
Still, there was still one thing he wanted to do.
Closing his eyes, he pretended to shift control to Touzoukuou. He opened his eyes, looking a bit confused, pretending to be his past self. Just this once, he promised himself. He smiled a little upon seeing Rei's face, as though it was the best thing he had seen for months. Which would probably have been Touzou's reaction. He didn't ask any questions quite yet; he would leave the confusion to Touzoukuou. "Rei? Oh, thank Ra..." He muttered in a low voice, its pitch perfectly matching the thief's. He leaned forward, kissing her tenderly.

Rei stoped the horse delighted to have her bakura back "Oh bakura!" she said happly and leaned into him gently kissed back. "im so happy your ok my love...I was so worried..."

Ryou cringed slightly, his hand tightening to a fist on his shirt. This was gone unnoticed by Bakura, who smiled faintly for a moment before truly switching places with Touzoukuou, having gotten the kiss he wanted. "I don't... even remember what happened." Touzou said, a slightly confused look on his face. Bakura had prompted him to say that, and then the yami left him alone for now. He peered forward, then noticed the palace ahead. "What th--?! Oh, please by the gods, Ra, Anubis, Seth, Osiris, anyone willing to hear me, please don't say we're going to go back there." He said, shutting his eyes in a prayer to the gods.

"Well now that I have you back no I dont place to go..." rei said. She turned the horse around heading away from the castle. "Im really not sure on what happen..but that girl from before traped you in a card..." rei told him.

"Well let me go back and kick her a**!" The thief said, looking surprised. "Oh, wait, it isn't polite to hit girls. Let me go kill that runt she's with! That'll make me feel better after she... trapped me in a card, did you say?"
