Oomizu sighed in relief to know Joseph was safe. She did her best to wipe the mud off of most of herself when she saw a leach was still on her. She gave a short screech and ripped it off before she tossed it as far from herself as possible and hugged herself. She looked to Joseph and nodded lightly. "Yeah. Let's get to it... The sooner we face it, the sooner we can leave." And the sooner I can take a bath.
Scout looked to Arthur disbelievingly before he felt a shove at the back of his neck. Luki was reminding the young Amrican that he had demanded an answer. He calmed down enough to say in a freaked out tone, "He's safe! Gakupo's in a cell in the bulding!"
A looked of relief and calmness instantly came onto Luki's face as soon as he heard that his friend was safe. He released his grip on Scout and got off of him. "Sorry for that, but you shouldn't go attacking us like that. What were you thinking?! Even if I was 'possessed', I would still be able to defend myself quite well. Baka." He looked to Arthur before he looked down, ashamed he had acted in such a barabic way in front of the man that had helped him. "Sorry to you as well. I should have stayed more calm. It's just... With how he attacked me and him mentioning Gakupo, I was afraid my friend might have been..."
Scout gave a shaky sigh in relief that Luki had so willingly released him just at knowing Gakupo was locked up in the building and that the worst Scout faced as a short lecture. Although, that thing at the end confused Scout. "Why'd you thank me? Was it for telling you where Gakupo was? I wouldn' hurt 'im! I see 'im kinda as a buddy!"
Now Luki was confused and turned to Scout. "Thank? ... I never thanked you. I called you an idiot. Don't tell me you thought "Baka" meant "thank you"! Although, I am relieved to hear you wouldn't harm us... Although, it looks like Gakupo might have gotten you. Not his best work, but it's definately Gakupo that got you." He pointed to where Scout had been sliced by Gakupo's sword. "Be thankful it wasn't Neru. Gakupo usually only slices at people as a warning or to simply hurt them enough to leave him alone. Neru on the other hand... If she had been the one to get a hold of you, you would be dead."
Scout's eyes went wide. Really? Neru, that girl always screwing around or sleeping, would have killed Scout? No way! She always seemed so uninterested in fighting! Any time he'd seen her, she was usually more interested at yelling at the grey-haired chick, and that was as confrontational as she would get! "... That's... Really ********' hard ta blieve. You really think that chick would have killed me?"
Luki crossed his arms and nodded. "She'd have done more than that. She would have cut you up into small pieces and left you there to rot. She may be a slacker, but she's still pretty bad when she needs to be. She's one of the bad guys in my world, and if she wasn't so lazy, she could easily take out most of us on her own. And don't think for a moment you're safe with Haku or Meiko either. Haku is an expert with guns. She could have blown your head off from 100 meters. And Meiko's so strong that most of us avoid making her angry when she's drunk. She can easily pick up all of us with one hand and is pretty skilled in fighting. The only thing she's better at, besides drinking, is taking that microphone stand she always has and impaling it right through some one. You're not safe facing any of us alone. The next Vocaloid you come across, avoid fighting them. Instead, lure them into a group and have everyone pin them down remove their weapons, and tie them up as quickly as possible so that you can try to avoid injury."
Scout stood up and brushed himself off as he listened. He had never thought any of them were capable of harming a fly. If they were that skilled and now being controlled by the freaky computer chick that wanted all humans dead. He gulped and looked to Luki and Arthur. "Uh, h-hey, uh, one a you mind hangin' wid me den? Medic told me ta try 'n find the othahs... The only thing I got helpin' me is this thing that Gakupo gave me that lead me to you two..." He held up the cell phone to show that he had a GPS location of the others. Well, everyone but Meiko. Knowing she was pretty dangerous too was making him nervous since he couldn't see a dot for her.
Heavy about to tell a story about talking rabits, skinny men, and the RED Heavy? Well... Nothing was going on, and it could relieve some of the tension that the group had with all the waiting. "Let Heavy tell his story, Doc! It would probably calm us all down! Hell, might even make us laugh if it involves that other Heavy! Go on, son! Tell us about "tiny heavy, scrawny man, and a talking rabbit" playing cards together!" Soldier was actually looking forward to hearing about it.
Hiruko nodded as he looked around to try to fnd Emmett. "I can't find any sign of him... Miss, would you mind seeing if you can get a better view of the crowd? I would try, but there's not enough room for me to really position my cane just right." He was talking to Navi. He'd never seen her before, and he was so bad with names to begin with, but he could tell she would be able to fly over the crowd. Besides, just because some of the people here liked Hiruko didn't mean they wouldn't be eager to hurt Spy, even if he was to stay with him.
Meiko heard Shodan and got a feeling of nails running up her spine. She hated that voice. It ws so... Just horrable! Nothing could describe it! She heard the thing about there being 2 people beig half human and half artifical and was confused. Wasn't Souji all human? She knew she was a computer program, so she would be the artificial program. How could there be two of 50/50 background? She shook her head, deciding to worry about it later. "She knows we're here.... We should hurry before she sends too big of a group after us."

(( could of sworn i wrote for emmet O.o)) Emmet got the message and nodded as he looked down to the people below. "When you are fighting these machines target the neck area. It is the machine's weak point! everyone get ready. They will be approaching soon. Once we start, head in the direction of the city, Rescue any one trapped and bring them back. I need a few thousand or so of you all to stay here for preparation with the next issue. I prefer those of you that know how to fly any kind of air ship or use machinery to stay behind." he informed them. If we do this quick enough maybe we can actually contact Babylon 5, and Vyse for help... he thought to himselfHeavy grinned happy to have a audiance "Vell. it all happened a few weeks before comming here. I got invited to play poker so i did. There was a talking rabbit. He said he was cop in a big city. Then there was scrawny man. he was annoying always thinking he knew everything. talking about how using a thing called computer is more powerful then killing. Then there was Tiny heavy. He talk funny also talk about computer and something named the cheet. Anyvays he say his name was bad something but he had to be tiny heavy he had killing gloves of boxing and everything" he explained Souji nodded as he continued to down the seemingly endless corridor. What was all that about, with two 50/50 life forms? Well she was a virus, so maybe she herself was malfunctioning? He stopped as he noticed a girl up ahead. prepping his sword he prepared to fight. The girl looked at them in confusion. "Who... are you?" she said in a robotic yet sweet voice. "How did you get in here?" she asked. She looked fragile as if she had been in battle and was heavily damaged. One of her wings was missing and the other looked like its main weapon was of no use anymore. Souji eyed the girl. not sure if it was a trick or what of Shodan. He looked over to Meiko then back at the girl "who are you..."
"I asked first" she said looking at them

Nodding to Oomizu at the suggestion, he began to lead the way towards the swamp. Following the stream, it wasn't hard to find. In fact, it looked like they were standing at the end of the world. Only a few lights in the background could be noticed from various torches left in the swamp. Even Joseph's crystal could only light a few meters in front of him. The water from the swamp came up to their knees, and was as thick as syrup as he tried to walk through. If it wasn't for various debris leading the way into the dumping site, it would almost be impossible to navigate the swamp. "Stay close to me. It'll be easy to get lost."
Soap continued to look for Haku, when he noticed various signs.
Scatch marks on the walls, and signs of dragging on the floor. Looks like someone was being dragged somewhere against their will. And with Haku not responding, he began to assume the worst. After all, things usually did when he was on a mission. Thankfully, he had his supressed USP .45 handy. So, pulling it up , along with the tactical knife next to the pistol, he began wandering the hallways, following the drag marks closely and silently.

((If you want to, you can already have Haku "poosessed" as well, Mav. What ever makes the plot more interesting. ^_^ ))
Something about the girl reminded her of Miku... with the exception of the fact Miku had a size A chest. Still, she seemed innocent enough... Worst came to wosrt, there was a large enough target for Miko to stab at. She went up to the girl and extended a hand. "I am Meiko from Vocaloid. Now, how about you tell me your name and how you got so torn up." There was no demanding sound to her voice, but something about it seemed to almost draw that the girl do as told withot being intimidating.
Soldier tried to listen... But he couldn't get a thing out of what Heavy was saying... It was an honest attempt, though.
Oomizu followed Joseph. She noted how dark it was as they got closer to the swamp. It was hard to believe just how dark it was. She used the prifying energy to try to make the area around them lighter, but she knew it was probably for nothing. She nodded to Joseph, no arguement of staying close to him at all.

"And im Souji from Earth." he told her
The girl looked up and smiled "My name is Pa...pa..li to" she stuttered a bit "Palito" she repeated. "I got this way when i was H.H..Hacked." she told them. "I was separated from Sh..Sh...Shodan that day by the Hacker." she told them as the halo on her head turned into a giant screen revealing a data log from that day.After the video recording was over she looked at them and sighed sadly. "My anaylist shows me that you both now think of me as a enemy after seeing this video... however if you paid close attention to the log, you will realize that i am the ethical restraints program re..re.removed from Shodan..." she informed them Souji listened in. He was a bit in shock at the whole information "So... your the program that kept her from going crazy? Why the hell would this Diego guy want to remove you from her programming?" he asked her.
"Data file no...not found" was all she said

((Neru and Haku are together in the hall way some where. I assume Neru would have been dragging Haku some where where there would be guns since Haku is good with guns. Since Haku's going to be taken over, we can just say she just gave in and is walking willingly along-side Neru.))
Meiko gave Palito a sympathetic look before answering Souji's question in a blunt way. "Humans are idiots when it comes to programs like us. They make us one way and then decide they'll mess with us to see what makes us tick. With Vocaloids, it's easy to get pay back. All it takes is glitching so that the people messing with us in MikuMikuDance get fustrated enough to leave us alone for a few monthes or we release songs that give people nightmares for monthes. But it's not the case here... Shodan just lost her ability to process right, right Palito-chan? If we found a way to fix you, would you be able to get Shodan to be nice and not harm the humans she was meant to protect?"

Well he wouldnt lie, That felt like she was directing it at him in a way. Souji listened as she explained none the less.
Palito nodded "There is a 88.3% probability that merging with Shodan will restore her to her former self before the period when she was hacked. " she told her as she attempted to stand up "However in my current state i will not stand a chance at even getting close to Shodan" she said. Her voice was clearly alot more stable then Shodan's. "Lucky for you, my programing remained uncorrupted when i was removed." she told them "Humans... why do they do this to us?" she said looking to both of them "How many times have they messed with you in such a way Miss Meiko.. Mr Souji?" she asked
Neru looked around the hallway. She had a heavy caliber gun in her hands as did Haku. She looked over to Haku and spoke. "Life forms detected. Proceed with cleansing " she said as they both started making their way down the halls

Meiko had forgotten Souji was human and turned to him with an apologetic look. She knew he wasn't to blame. She had directed it more towards the teenage boys that were always having camera shots of her boobs bouncing during a dance or having the same camera show nice pantie shots or tried making her sing sexually explicit songs. She turned to Palito and gave a soft smile. "Most of them mean well... They forget what hey made us capable of feeling and do things to try and fix us... Make us better and more able to do our jobs. Unfortunately, that measn they try to fix things that are not broken and end up causing us harm in the process. This Diego person was not a good Master. He did not try to make amends with you after he hurt you like my Master does." She smiled and helped Palito to stand. "I am at the mercy of pretty much any on with a computer and the ability to download my world to their computer, so I really don't know how many times they mess with me. On the plus side, some of them do really nice things for me."

Palito smiled "This master sounds so nice. I wish i knew what it felt like to be treated so well. " she told them "I..I...I can see why you both are not affected by Shodan's possession abilities. Being made both of programming and human. Your master was wise to make you in such a way" she said "The reason she does not possess me is because i could stop her from her current way of thinking." she told them as she seemed to cringe a bit in pain.
Souji looked at her "Umm made us? actually im human you know..." she told the machine "I was made in a different fashion then the way she was made" he laughed nervously.
Palito looked at him in a confused fashion
Neru spotted something up ahead. She looked to Haku and smirked "Data files reveal these are comrades. this should allow us to get close to them and strike them down..." she told her. She looked back and altered her voice back to its normal sounding one "Hello Scout!" she said in a cheery tone. The gun was at both their sides clearly visible however.

Meiko blinked on confusion as well. "I am not human... I can bleed, but I am not human. I am just like you... Shodan hacked me once before. I just think my new update may be blocking her signal some how..."
Scout jumped and screamed a little as Neru approached and even went so far as to duck behind Luki for protection.
Luki sighed and facepalmed while shaking his head lightly. It wasn't completely obvious that Scout knew about how dangerous Neru was now *cough cough*. Luki looked to Haku and Neru in dull and uninterested eyes. "" He seemed otherwise unmoved by their presense and casually placed a hand on his whip. "" He was really hoping they would believe that he was under Shodan's control. After all, his head phones were back on his head and the glove was in place as well. Maybe they would believe he was telling them this information because he was on their side rather than trying to trick them into trusting him.
Scout got a concerned look on his face as he listened to Luki speaking in Japanese to the girls. Gakupo started doing that before he went all ape s**t and attacked him. This couldn't be good.

Palito shook her head "My scanning abilities are still as good as when they were first installed in me. There are Neuro signals firing from both of your head instead of electromagnetic ones that are associated with cyber brains. There information accessing ports on both of you, and you are able to scan am i not correct? Also you both have the proper organs required to copy your programming and physical bodies. This is a new way of program reproduction that i have never even heard of. but it sounds interesting. " she spoke. Suddenly the look in her eyes froze "Shes comming... her minions are approaching. quickly we must find a way to get into her access port so that i can re-download myself!"
Souji didnt have the proper time to soak in what she was really saying. However the information she just gave him was not something he was going to be able to forget. he readied himself and prepped for another battle.
The girls looked at Luki.
Haku smiled sweetly as she spoke "" she asked still keeping the same happy bubbly expression on her face.
Neru gave off a cute pouty face as she reached for scout she spoke in a language he should understand "Aww are you still worried cause of what happened that last time? Look im not ganna hurt you, im just so happy to see your ok. we thought everyone had been killed or something" she told him trying to coax him closer

Meiko listened to Palito and took in all that she said, but she didn't really understand it. Master hadn't made any of them partcially human... He based them off of humans and gave them a lot of simular features that functioned almost identically, but they weren't human... She turned and prepared herself for another attack. She was going to make sure that Shodan wouldn't be able to hurt Palito and that they could successfully revert to how they had been before.
Luki did his best not to laugh at how Shodan was making Haku and Neru behave. Didn't she know she was making them behave out of character? They would surely be obvious to any one with half of a brain cell. A part of him hoped that Arthur would understand Japanese and catch onto what Luki really meant behind his words as he spoke to Haku. "" He turned to Neru and lifted an eyebrow. "Neru-chan, leave the poor boy alone. It's clear he does not trust you. Scout, didn't you say something about the leader of your group looking for the three of us? I am sure it is important for us to get to the group as soon as possible."
Scout flinched away from Neru and wrinkled his nose. This chick was acting wierd, so that cold only mean that she was screwed up like Gakupo was. f that was the case, why was the pink-haired guy talking so calmly and in a friendly mannor to the girls as though they were fine? He walked over to Arthur and whispered, "Ya sure he's alright ta trust? I aint nevah seen him 'round 'fore."

"Pa...palito..." a voice spoke "You daaaare to defy me? A.a.a.after i let you live for so long without de.e.e.e.leting you?" she spoke as a feeling of dread filled the air around them. "I.I.I.I. cannot allow you to prooooooceeeeed with this foolish idea Palito. I will strike you down where you stand" she spoke
Palito sighed, she knew this is what was going to happen for finally starting to make her move against Shodan. "Im sorry Shodan, but cant you see what your doing? This has got to stop!" "No..nonsense... you cannot stop a G..G..God from creating No..r can you stop one from destroying jus...st either..." she said as some machines came into view "Go my minions delete the intruders" 
The machines approached them, there was a good few of them but they looked stronger then normal.Souji stood on guard "Here they some Lets give them a little surprise!" he grinned as he pulled out Dominian from his inner self. "Another lightning barrage should do quick work on these things again. Get ready to go in and smack them around. Ready Meiko?"Haku nodded "" she spoke.
Neru pouted "Fine. well then we should get back so we can help the others out quickly right?" ((would post for heavy but i wanna see medic's reaction to his babbling XD ))

((I'm running on two hours of sleep, a bottle of Mountain Dew, and sheer willpower! So excuse me if this ends up silly, that isn't my intention.))
Medic just shook his head. For now, Heavy's delusions were harmless, but the second they started to interfere with his work, the German would intervene. "Be avare during zhe battle," he began, instead deciding to talk about work. "I don't vant to be left out in zhe open again just because vone or two of you veren't paying attention! I mean it. I vill stop healing you und find somevone else if you don't at least attempt to protect me." He shouldn't have to keep telling them that. One of these days, he was so going to make good on his threat.
Spy heard the announcement and shrugged. "I suppose that's one way of doing it, but I don't know if it was quiet enough or not." Although it was really nice knowing he had a target to shoot at, now. He wouldn't try backstabbing, no, that just seemed like it would end terribly. However, aside from the Sniper, he was the most accurate shot on RED. This should go well; or at least better than the majority of the missions he had participated in thus far.
"Right, so obviously I'm staying here so I can help give everyone a crash course in how to pilot the kinds of vehicles we've got," Jack began, looking over to Maverick after Emmet had answered. "So what's your plan? Out in the city or here defending the base?"

Maverick nodded. "I have to. Especially if im going to be using my alchemy. But ill be back, i see a shortage of machines in here based on the number of people you want to keep and use to pilot them. " he said as he started to draw a large circle on the ground "Everytime i transmute one of the machines, this circle will pile up the heavy metal you used, and transmute it to steel. we should get enough steel to make a fighter or so for every bot that i transmute. Just make sure your not standing on it when it starts to glow, you dont want your foot to be turned to steel. " he warned. "Oh speaking of which, i got the formula i need to transmute them. i need alot of paper to draw these circles... Unless there is a copy machine somewhere around here"
Heavy sighed. it seemed he wasnt belived with the story he told "But.... I know doktor..." he sighed a bit sadly. it wasnt every day heavy become a chatter box. now he knew why he didnt do it so often. Now he was missing the friends he played poker with. "Hey isnt that scout down there?" he asked pointing far off into the hallway.
