heheh im in the middle of building a $900 system (thats just for the tower and stuff, no monitor, im spending extra for that to boost it up to a 1200$ system) that im building myself. Its gonna rock biggrin

If I attempted to build my own comp, it'd probably self destruct when I hit the power button. xD If I can buy a relatively cheap one that can play current games without it looking like I'm watching a slide show, I'd be happy. :3

TBH, I don't care much for the LCD monitors. They make things way too dark, and in games, that's a problem. whee

o_O then you need to adjust your settings Kama xd LCD monitors are much crisper. It sounds like your gamma settings are askew. I had to alter mine in my laptop but it works fine now. My friend has a 32 inch plasma lcd monitor, its ******** awesome.

Yeah LCD monitors have more to mess with above Brightness and COntrast, theres Gamma, color and more. Its quite the pain in the a** but once you get it perfect, its like staring into a crystline lake.
