Next time make sure your woodcutting labor is disabled.
Or there's no axe.

Or you're taking a break for the next 3 months.
Or you're interrupted by carp.

My forts are too successful. Nothing eventful ever happens. Adventure mode kills me randomly for succeeding too much.

The Dorfs are on a brief hiatus.

D&D plans will continue when Josh and I are in the same region of the country, which we seem to be actively avoiding at the moment. Srsly, though, I wanna get on with that. Gonna need to start recruiting and stuff.

And maaaan, Fen. I tried a fortress on Terrifying land. Random Werewolf wandering through wiped three of my seven in the first couple minutes.

And I had an Adventurer that slaughtered 75 elves before being brought down by a stray arrow. I love combat text like "The Elven Bowman flies back from the force of the blow. He strikes an object and blows apart!" If it weren't for that lucky archer shot, I'm pretty sure he would've gone on to depopulate the world of hippies.
