I'd like to work in a bank, actually. But it seems I could end up a cashier in a grocery store again because I've done a fair bit of it and I prefer it to other entry-level type jobs (like fast food, serving, retail). I've never been a waitress, but I hated working in fast food and I hated working retail. At least with working a cash register I don't have to clean up changing rooms or convince people to buy things. Plus, I'm actually really fast on the till. It's just too bad that degree I don't really want is going to be gathering more and more dust.

I had a great time as a cashier in Sobey's a grocer I use to work in...met some very, VERY interesting people and made some great connections with customers. Didn't like re-stocking much...but besides that it was fun.

Lilygwen Sammirah What sort of work do you do Lily? And at least you have a job. I raked a whole bunch of leaves today. I'm also trying to teach myself to read Devanagari. gaia_nitemareleft I work as a system specialist in a multinational bank. Right now we have this project where we want to optimize the processes to get better results. My main work is mainly revolving around the multimedia based banking products but since I'm good with excels, I get to make them in this project. smile I know I'm lucky tho have a job in this economic situation and the excel crunching is nice change for the normal job but when you do it the whole 7,5h day, your mind is overfull with formulas. @zach: Ah, I could get some hot chocolate, thank you. It's rather chilly in here. *puts on her mittens* gaia_angelright 7.5 hours crunching excel spreadsheets sounds like a dream job to me.

Zacheriah Neoson Coming right up *Getting out a tall coffee mug, what coffee shops would call the vente, he filled it with hot cream before adding the chocolate syrup to it and mixing it well, topping it off with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and a long, thin chocolate stick to stir with. Placing it on the tray, he then takes it to Lilygwen to serve* One Vente Deluxe Hot Chocolate. Camwen Zach! I have the munchies. How about whipping up some assorted snack foods. smile I think I have just the treat *Heading into the back, he gets out his handy little Chef's Rival and some spinach, carrots, red cabbage, and brocolli stalks from the crisper. Adding them to the cutter, he hand cranks the knob until they were finely minced before getting a couple cans of tuna to add to the mix. Turning it again, the mixture is nicely minced together and, upon scooping it all into a bowl, he adds a little Italian Dressing to it to help bind it all together. Afterward, he gets out some Wheat Thin crackers and spreads the tuna salad upon each cracker, making a dish of tuna salad cracker sandwiches, enough to feed the whole room. coming out with the tray, he places the dish upon the snack table* Healthy Tuna Salad on Wheat Thin Crackers. Bon Appetite~!
