Why in the world does it take 45 minutes to wash your hair?

I just took a ruler to my hair.... it's 1 1/2 feet currently... and it doesn't take me close to 45 minutes to wash it....

Why in the world does it take 45 minutes to wash your hair?

I just took a ruler to my hair.... it's 1 1/2 feet currently... and it doesn't take me close to 45 minutes to wash it....

It doesn't take very long when I'm just washing it to make it look nice and clean. When I actually get something in it, it spreads quickly and takes forever to wash out. x_X Especially sticky stuff.

I COULD SEE THE LITTLE BEADS OF SUGARY SUBSTANCE ON MY HAIR STRANDS. ;_;

Here's a conversation (in part) that I had with my friend Sean. Random little fact: I KNOW TOO MANY PEOPLE NAMED SEAN. x.x

Me: Hey Sean, do you know what your astrological sign is?
Sean: Leo.
Me: Same here! When's your birthday?
Sean: August 14th.
Me: ... You're two days older than me...
Sean: o_O
Me: And I have another friend whose birthday is August 15th. Wow.
Sean: You know, I know this guy, he's in sixth grade though, who's birthday is like two weeks before yours.
Me: ... August 2nd?
Sean: Yeah.
Me: That's my mom's birthday! xd
Sean: WHAT THE CRUD??! Excuse my French, but HOLY CRAP! o_O

It's 12:30 AM, technically already Friday.

I am still wide awake, having just finished my homework.

I will be lucky to get six and a half hours of sleep, when I should be getting nine, especially during testing weeks.

A few weeks ago, my hair was over two feet long. It didn't take me that long to wash it, but brushing it out took waaaaaay too long. x.x
I'm happy I had it chopped off.

I used to have fairly long hair. It was about two feet, I think. I dunno for sure, but I got really sick of it. >_<

My hair is actually pretty long for my height. I can put my arms behind my back and feel the ends.

Yeah. I had crazy long hair in high school... and then when I broke up with my boyfriend I was just fed up with stuff, chopped it all off and dyed it red... and now I keep it shoulder length-ish.
