"I do not need that information. It is something I do not care about... When it comes to things like that, I do not pay attention." The burning tip of that roll of tobacco glows brightly a moment before he exhales a puff of smoke. "Live your life, and I will make sure everything turns out as it should."

"Your doing it again." She said with a slight smile. "I wish you wouldn't." She set the glass down and watched him. "Your not telling me something i think, something important, " She thought she knew in the back of her mind to win it would be one of them.. or would it? she could not be sure, she wouldn't be sure.. sometimes she didn't want to know.

Rayne slowly walked off with a sigh. It seemed she were not needed and decided to head back to the forest. As always, she was light on her feet which didn't make a sound. Her head was down and her hands infront of her, she walked through the dark hallway on her own to give her mind at peace. A moment of silence, she decided to play her handcrafted flute that was made from back home. It sounded like a high-pitched tone but somewhat sounded like a whisper. She played a sad tone as she walked with her eyes closed. It seemed as if she were about to dance across the hallway with the beautiful sound that she made. After a while of playing she seemed lost at her own little game, the way she felt alone - made her feel somewhat secured. She made a small grin while playing which amde her wanted to laugh. Ahh.. How the sound soothes me... Hahah, how it reminds me so much about home.

Rayne's peacefulness in the forest would not last something seemed quickly unnatural. Nosies were herd and animals were quite, very quite. Something was happening, no her senses would tell her something was surrounding her and then a shaow 20 steps away seemed to speak out to her. The voice was smooth and mysterious, male voice. "M'Lady, you have just became a part of something bigger than you will know what to do with."

Rayne stopped and slowly glanced back - but there was no one there. She was half dazed when she thought she heard something. Then she noticed things were quiet... She looked up with her flute infront of her still. Then quickly looked back down at her forest and gave a small grin.

She would then when she smiled feel something brush her right cheek but then something was to her left someone. There was a very tall man dressed in black pants and a crimson tunic that coverd his chest. His long dark hair fell freely down his back. His features were lovely yet masculine, everything of him was. "Are you ready for what might come Rayne?"

Harun pulled the papers b ack on the small book he kept with himself. He checked off the house of the wolf and sketched a small happy face next to it for todays routine check up. He sighed and slipped the book into his back pucket, this was the worst part of his job, running across the country once a week in order to check on each house of the kingdom. He sighed once more and stuffed his hands in his pockets. But sadly that wasn't truely the worst part. The worst part was doing all of the paperwork, his handwriting was horrid, he hands got tired, it never ended, and the worst part was that there was no fun in it. Just piles upon piles of things to sign and fill out.
"Well, I'll just check in first. Why do something now if you can do it later?"
He smiled a bit as he walked up to the main Hall. He then noticed that sitting alone there was the queen. Well she isn't really alone she always has those guards by her. He walked up the her and gave her a bow.
"I have returned from the arguous task of running across the country. I have a question? Couldn't I simply tell people how the other houses are doing instead of filling out all of that paperwork? It's quite tiresome."

Katherine gave a smile seeing him. "You could hire a scribe i am sure." She spoke with a smile thinking it would take care of all the problems in the world. She stood walking to the wine set and poured Harun a glass, she handed it over to him then. "Here, come sit with me for a little while." She said again with a smile. Once she was seated she spoke. "At least flowing rivers have been quite, have you encountered anymore of those things we fought last night?"

Harun sat down and Smelled the wine she handed to him. He was a white wine kind of person but red was good on occasions. Plus white doesn't stain if you spill it. He siped the wine and he smirked as the taste ran over his tongue , she always had a very good selection around the castle.
"A scribe wouldn't be bad but if I hired him I would have to pay for him. "
Harun chuckled a bit as he took another sip. Another chill as the taste of the bitter wine ran over his taste buds. It was quite the kick to the spine after running a cross country marathon since about five in the morning. Harun set the glass down for a second and he contemplated his trip, he ran into one that was still alive at the site but besides that he had seen no sign.
"I encountered one that was at the site of the fight, it seemed like it was trying to survay the spot. I observed it for a while and it just looked around at the corpses. And I'm not the good as a spy so eventually it found me and I have to kill it."
Harun sighed before he leaned back in his chair and used his feet to stay balanced. He pulled the little book out of his pocked and set it on the table before flipping through it and setting it down infront of her with the book open to a page with a sketch of the bearlike monster and some information. Well that was if she could read it.

"With the small fortune i pay you it would not be hard to hire a scribe." She spoke plainly as she took a sip of her own. She putt her hand under her chin her elbow on the table. Her purple eyes studying something there. "I don't know where they came from but i have a good idea, i believe it has to do with a old enemy who..." Her arm moved as she leaned back to him. "It seems impossible but i am done thinking anything is impossible anymore. You were not yet here when the plague came but i am sure you remember it. It wasn't a plague are water had been poisoned, we knew that but didn't let it get out." She looked back down. "I fought this.. being that believed himself a god, he wasn't one but was looking for a way to the gods.. Its very confusing and so was the fight. What came after us felt the same."

Harun was surprised at the thought that one could reach the gods, she almost fell over in his seat but he just bairly caught himself with his feet under the table and he caughed a bit to clear his throught. He then picked up the wine and drank a bit before he pulled himself together.
"Now I might not be let in on much around here but I have never heard of anyone actually speaking to the gods. The gods just zap down and ocassionaly make an offspring, not to be rude,"
He made an incline as not to offend her and mention to the fact she was a demi-god.
"but noone that I have ever heard of has gotten to the relm of the gods. I mean if we could get there than I would have quite a few questions for them."
Harun sat up and set his feet down on the ground as he put his elbows on the table and let his head rest in his palms. He looked straight at her with a serious look on his face.
"Madam not to be rude, but the people in this castle keep far too many secrets for their own good. So anything that would shed light on the situation would be welcome. "

She nodded some and still looked down, "..Its difficult , and yes one day you most likely see one here or feel there persance. Although the crown may be close to the priests never trust them." She warned. "As for what is kept quite it is for good reason. There is something here, what that man spoke to me yesterday before those things attacked us. It is.." She took a drink of her wine she would phrase it as she always had best he herd it from her, "There is a story you might know it, after the blind god made his children, the gods then made humanity in there own ways in different sects. Before he fell asleep he made a soul and hid it in human for the soul was a weapon that has the power to kill a god or wipe out a whole country. The gods then made to counter it a weapon of there own built to kill this soul lifetime after lifetime in hopes that it would never be used. Something that holds that kind of power should not live yet it does." She then looked back up to him. "This soul that is the weapon is born into the world unknowing at first of all these things, now tell me if you happened upon this person what would you do?"

Harun pondered the predicimant she had placed forward. He knew that the best choice would be to kill the person and then the problem would be solved. But what if there was cause to kill the god, what if there was a reason. That would be completely different. Harun finished off the glass of wine and he looked up at the ceiling as he thought about it for a second. Well honestly he would talk to the person, on account of his nature of run ning away he would face this problem with niether a sword or a white flag.
"I would talk to them, if they had just cause for the death of a god then so be it that is their decision but if they chose to kill off a country that would be diferent. I might be forced to take action if it was in our kingdom. But if they chose to do nothing with such a power I would apploud them for such a path. Partially because it is a much simpler path and it leads to no conflict on either side."
Harun leaned back once again and kept thinking about what she had been talking about, so if there is a power that kills gods and it's in one of the gods children. Gods children are demigods and Katherine was a demigod so if A=B and B=C then A=C! Harun fell back in his chair and then he scrambled to pull his head above the table where he could look at her.
"Are you the chosen child?"
