Does anyone know how to get The Sims (1) to play in window mode? There doesn't appear to be an option in the actual game.
EDIT: also I am making all of you guys because I am a loser like that. Who wants to live with whom?

Cabron LaSwan Does anyone know how to get The Sims (1) to play in window mode? There doesn't appear to be an option in the actual game.
EDIT: also I am making all of you guys because I am a loser like that. Who wants to live with whom? Copied from a Google search Yes, though you can't do it from the autorun/autoplay screen. If you have a desktop or Start Menu shortcut that you use to start the game, right-click on it, and select Properties. There'll be a textbox labeled Target, or something similar to that. Click in the textbox, then move the cursor to the end. Hit the spacebar, then type -w . Click OK. Whenever you use that shortcut to start the game, it'll start in windowed mode. You can also add the option -debug_objects to start the game in debug mode. This can be useful if you use downloaded objects. I want to be the cat. Or the dog. Or the lobster. Free cuddles for the whole family!

I get so bored of this game so fast though. :I I kind of just like building the houses and making the characters and that's it.
