Turning her attention back to the newcomer, she answered him first. "Eh, no .. Magic, mostly. Several languages and other techniques also." Going quiet again for a few moments, she again considered David's words. In the hindsight, it made sense that a portion of Ali's presence within her would affect him. "David, I am so sorry, I was not thinking, out of sorts or not, I should have known better."

Sliding off the couch, she knelt by him also. Touching his knees gently, she hoped the fabric of his pants would act as a barrier if there were anything from her touch that would still harm him. "Then let us agree that neither were to blame. There is no need to forgive for either of us. Neither you nor I meant harm to the other. It was a mistake we both made."

She began to retract her hands after a moment as he was replying, only for one to be stopped by his touch. Though touching her hand did not bother her, by moving her hand to his cheek, she felt an odd mixture of panic and curiosity. Not realizing it, her cheeks went pink at this gesture, as she felt it were extremely private to touch another's cheek. After a moment, she pulled her hand away, not feeling comfortable maintaining the contact with his cheek for long. "I am relieved to know this. It pains me to think that I could harm another so drastically when not intending to."
(Ooc edit: I see you as online, my guess is you have FL only or something? ^^;; it has always worked correctly for me. 3nodding )

"It is my opinion that touching another anywhere other than on the hand, arm or shoulder is very personal and should not be done without consent." she said softly. Considering his hand for a moment, she gently placed her fingers on his, lightly resting her hand for balance, but lifting herself with her legs, not allowing herself to rely on his strength to stand. Once off the ground, she rested her hands at her sides. "Thank you."

As she had expressed before, she did not enjoy talking about herself and did not wish anyone to feel they owed her anything.
