*Logan moved on and on, making her sword movements faster and faster and faster, twirling and slashing, hacking and parrying blows. Her eyes were closed as she moved, jumping and rolling and upper cutting until suddenly she stopped, the sword thrust out behind her, her left knee on the floor, her right leg out in front.
Her breathing was hard and fast and her pulse was racing. She stood, leaning on the blade. She had been working out, holding nothing back for a little over an hour and she was physically knackered. She saluted the sun with her blade once more before she fell forward onto her knees. She tried to controll her breathing as her head rested on her sword hilt.
After a few seconds her back muscles relaxed and she fell backwards onto the ground She just lay there, staring at the sky, her sword still in her hand, the rain pelting her face and closed eyes as she fought for breath once more.*

Gaijin stood up off of his rock and walked over to her through the rain, he leaned over her, looking down at her. Impressive swordsmanship, but I see a couple of weaknesses in the way you fight. Oh well. Still pretty impressive I'd have to say. He extends his hand down to her. Sorry that I followed you, but I was curious and I thought it might be interesting to watch you.

I'll think i'll lie here for a while... And you thought it would interesting? Why? You had no idea that i was coming here to train...
*She smiled and closed her eyes. She had always loved the feeling of rain on her eyelids and it felt even better know her sense of touch had been improved.*
Ever felt the rain on your eyelids?

He sits down on the ground beside her, reaching over and tracing an L on her forehead with that water there. Bah, it had to be more interesting than sitting back in the apartment doing nothing. Atleast this way I got a good show out of it. He leans his head back, letting the rain was down his face and through his hair. Yeah... though personally I like feel the cool rain in my hair too. Kinda like a shower, but nicer.

Arceli walks out of the shop she got herself a job in, with a new Piercing, a bar between her eyes. She also has a comic-book wolf's head tattoo on her left shoulder, although that isn't visible due to her jacket. She walks along the street, hands in pockets and starts to whistle, in her pocket she's casually fiddling with one of her throwing knives.

L for lycan i pressume? And how do you mean a good show?
And my hair is not loose so the water just runs down the gulleys between braids...
*Her black tank top was soaked and sticking to her and her trousers were wet but not as bad due to a certain amount of waterproofing on them. Her breathing had returned to normal and she was contracting and releasing her muscles to stretch them out a little. Not that she needed to... But hey!*

He chuckles and shakes his head. No, not Lycan. L is for Logan. Your name, remember? You haven't known me long, so I don't expect you to understand, but I don't much care for species. To me, there is good and there is bad. I take out the bad, and I try and protect the good. That is my reason for being a Hunter. His trenchcoat was pushing off most of the rain, though his shirt was still soaked.

Arceli picks up the scent of Logan and, feeling guilty about leaving early yesterday, walks back to her house and jumps on her motorbike. She folows the scent moving towards its source, driving sensibly, for once, but almost on auto pilot.

You are the first hunter i have ever heard take that point of view..
Most usually just see a lycan or vampire or demon and kill em... Whether the immortal hurt them first or not...
So, if you claim to be a hunter, how come you take that point of view? Why did you become a hunter if you only hunt peticuliar individuals and don't try to wipe out the whole race?

He stares down at her for a moment, trying to decide whether or not he should go into that. He decided it was a fair enough question and looked off into the distance as he spoke. About 5 years ago I was a cop in this city. My partner and I were on patrol when we heard shots fired. We went to investigate and found a Lycan tearing into a bunch of kids playing at being gang members. We tried to shoot it but of course that didn't work. It got my partner, and messed me up good. When I got back on duty I tried to take my story to the higher-ups but they didn't believe me. Threw me out. So I became a Hunter to get revenge. I killed that Lycan and its entire clan. And then I came to realize if I continued my genocidal quest it would only make me the monster I hated so much. So, I'm not selective. I protect people now, like a good cop should. Be they Lycan, Vampire, Demon, or whatever else.

Thats horrible... I'm so sorry... I shouldn't of asked. It brought back too many painful memories. I'm sorry.
How do you mean messed you up pretty bad? Usually just a scratch from a lycan would turn a human... Not many cures are easy to get hold of.
But it is noble what you do now. More hunters should become like you.

Arceli reachesa dead end, so she turns around and tries another rout, another dead end... and then another, and another dead end... this sucks. She Finally finds one that looks like the most plausable option, but doesnt want to wander through someone's house... so she rides back of not quite sure where she was. She'd never been to this part of town.

Arceli Arceli cuts the endgine on her bike a little way away and decides to play a game. She checks the direction of the wind, then wanders to somewhere downwid of Logan and the Hunter. She begins to creep quietly along, trying to sneak up on the pair, just for fun.

He lets out his breath, eyes closing slightly as if thinking back to the moment. I don't remember much of what happened to me. I remember claws and teeth. Blood and so much pain... Subconsciously he reaches up and rubs his left shoulder. I don't know why I was turned, or what they did to me to keep me from turning, if anything at all. All I know is that I didn't turn. He looks back to her for the final question, watching her face for a moment before speaking. As I said before, I don't see the races when I look at good or bad. No, what I mean is more close to the second choice. I didn't want to become like that, an instrument of horror to hurt those who did not deserve it. Maybe, as Kinikki says, this makes me a bad Hunter.
