"You were obviously rather tired." he mumbled in return, a smile gracing his features from her kiss. "And I don't mind being woken... it's a little late to be going to the shop though." he told her regretfully.
Lily sighed, then settled for hugging Arlen tightly, her head now on his chest. "You sure you don't want anything?" she asked softly.

"Nah... I'm set." Lily told him, kissing the spot just below his ear. "Besides... I asked you first."
"Alright then, sweet." Vincent mumbled, giving her a loving squeeze. "We can go tomorrow, if nothing comes up. Maybe the boy would like to come too... do you mind if we take care of him?" he asked her, opening his eyes now to look in hers.

Lily blushed, then cleared her throat. "When I did the spell... or, rather, when Cerri did it... I wanted to be able to purr, but that's a cat thing. In his lab, Xaldin had an animal that was a hybrid... it was part bunny. That was the noise it made, and it always made me feel better when I was sad. So I put that in the spell... actually, I have a whole 'nother set of vocal cords now, just for that..."
