It was the lack of anything that made me worry XD I'm just a worry wart though. Lol, even after a few posts I was like "Is this okay? Am I actually accepted or not? O^O"
As for drawing it, I'd likely fail incredibly hard at drawing Iyokou. His design is super complex, and I'm not too confident in my own drawing abilities OTLt h e C a r d M a s t e r Well, by now I assume he's been accepted. I just never got the "stamp of approval" everyone else got, so I was over-reacting for awhile XD
Lol, and I found it odd that people thought Twist was creepy too. In my opinion, he's rather normal looking, in comparison to most of the members. But quoted from Avery: "Avery trailed off as he watched the creepy man wonder away. Really, who wore ribbons around their neck? The weirdo. Sure, Avery worked in circuses, but not everyone had to be crazy looking!". Or, you know, the fact that Ace practically thought that Mr. Twist was death himself at first glance XD
Also, I actually really like Alex as a character. He's just one of those odd, hard to read kinda guys. I sort of got feels when the fire kind of scarred him for life XD

t h e C a r d M a s t e r By then I was still in the "Oh gawd, I've entered a guild full of people who are already close. Outsider-mode!" stage. Might sort of be in that stage. Don't quote me on that.

t h e C a r d M a s t e r I'd probably just laugh and move on. xD && I know right. How awkward would it be to be scrolling tumblr and suddenly sex sounds? Like really LOUD sex sounds? ;A; Here's the video: BoopIt's literally called "Walking in an Exaggerated Manner around the Perimeter of a Square". xD I just have stopped giving any ********. I do alright in college. Not straight A's, but I get A's and B's. So far. >w>; && I like your picture of Alex! Looks really good. :3 Ah, you're all good. Especially by now. :3 && Aw, his design isn't too complex. xD Just a bunch of BS going on up in there. Hahaha. He's so lame, I have a hard time liking him on my own. And yeah I know what you mean by confidence in art. ;3; I don't even think I'm at the level I should be. I'm like that dumbass who can't do s**t in art school. xD Like why am I even here? But eh. I like your art though. From what I've seen in your profile image of Twist it's nice. ^^

Loloololol. Be in the library, forget to plug in your earpiece. XD
............... Those comments below.. Holy crap. Did he like get money for that s**t?
Yeah. Me too. So long as I get most of the points or am around average, I'm good.
Lol. Thanks. My style's been bouncing like crazy everytime I draw. XD Though, got lazy. Should've done a few things betters.
Ah, man. Don't be down on yourself. You got into an art school because of the arts! ******** contemporary s**t, and go make something you'll be happy with.

t h e C a r d M a s t e r Oh god. Just imagine. xDD I'd die of embarrassment. Or be in the library without headphones AND it's at full volume. && Yes, I believe he did. It's kind of annoying knowing people can make money off of this s**t? Like, you get to a point where it just stops being "expressive art" or "contemporary art" and goes straight into just plain ridiculous bullshit. Yes, maybe his other works were better, but that doesn't give him a free pass to make money off of a ten minute video of tracing a square. lol. Just imo, though. && Yes. Thank you! I always run into people who are like "You don't get straight As? BUT YOU'RE ASIAN!" and it's like well ******** you bro, not all Asians are mental calculators and s**t, sheesh. xD I see you style in your works though, even if your overall artwork changes. That's how practice and improvement goes. Change is always a good thing, and I like the style you've developed over time. :3 It's realistic but not to the point where it's generic. And thank you. ;w; Idk, I never feel very confident in my art skills, mainly due to my generic art style and lack of overall skill, but I guess that's why I'm in art school. To be thoughtfully critiqued and to improve, right? ;3; So far all of my classmates and professors have been beyond helpful and nice to me though, so that's a plus. No one's ripped by pictures apart (literally) yet. xD Though there is one girl in my class who constantly talks about how "perfect" she is at art/anatomy and gets snippy whenever someone critiques her figures, no matter how polite the crit is, which is unsettling. >>;

I'd probably hide in corner of the library after that. XD
Pft. So many ******** Asians at my school. They expect me to be a fob and not speak any English. -w- Just 'cause I'm shy and don't want to talk to people doesn't mean I can't speak English.
Aw. redface Thanks. Though, I feel like I'm always fighting my anime style, so sometimes I just draw something so ******** anime if I don't pay attention. XD
Man. Lay out your foundations, and build up your own tower. And that's good. c: Art teachers are sometimes scary or rude. =w= Mine was nice to me, but that was because it was art 1 and I wasn't a trouble-making kid in class throwing paint and glue. Oh man. XD The folks that can't take criticism are the worst.

t h e C a r d M a s t e r I'd hide in the corner of the /sun/ if that were to happen. xD Argh, that sounds harsh. D: People just think I'm a future serial killer, it seems. I guess my neutral face is actually a "Talk to me and I'll destroy you" face... >>; You should just start speaking to them in like French and watch them be like "WAT". Of course. ^^ && Yeah, it kind of stinks that the anime sort of style is looked so down upon in the art world, though I can see where it stems from. All those weebs going out and claiming to be anime artists just to fall flat on their face. I wish the art world would realize that not all people who draw anime are like that. I /never/ draw anime in my art classes, because that's not what I'm there for. It's more of a recreational thing, you know? It's a super deformed style that's fun, but that doesn't mean one shouldn't pay attention to realism and practice other things to make that style better. && Hell yes. Drawing the most ridiculous shoujo animu dodge burn style image is the best. xD You should show me next time you do one of those! Exactly. That's what I'm planning on. Art isn't going to be my main source of income, that I know for sure. I'm planning on doing this, and then getting a masters in ESL so I can travel and do art on the side. I can't deal with deadlines. >>; I'm too much of a procrastinator. & Yeah I've heard such horrible things from people in art school, but so far it hasn't been so bad. I hope as long as I keep my head down and do my best I won't get bludgeoned with hate.
Throwing paint and glue? What grade was this? xDD And I know right? Why are they in art school if they don't want criticism and to improve? Why not just go out and sell millions of commissions if they already think they're perfect? o__o;

t h e C a r d M a s t e r Very true. Though, considering the whole circus rp takes place on Gaia... is there even a Germany and France?That hair though! That two-coloured hair!! Aaaagh! The simplified chibi version would look awful XD Sadly, most artists don't seem very confident in what they can do. I'm taking art classes myself, and all my teachers really don't like anime XD I just avoid drawing it in their presence and for projects. And thank you ^_^ I've gotten a tablet and photoshop since then, but I'm not confident enough to practice with it. Yeah...that's an infinite loop right there. O__O

I think about talking like a Mexican sometimes.. Though, I'll probably asking something stupid like are they the drug cartel and if they had a hit. XD
Yeah. I don't think it's a bad art form, it's just not the direction I want to go in. Like my childhood is pretty much animated cartoons, and anime pretty much was fifty percent of that.
Oh man. You can do the colouring. I'll draw the biggest shoujo eyes for you to ******** high school, girl. I was one of the few seniors. Art 1 is like the class that people take without caring because they just need an art credit to graduate. Really? I should've gathered a small portfolio to show to the higher art teacher so I wouldn't needed to deal with the s**t in there. The kids don't show any respect to the teacher or each other. A group of boys made a girl cry as though it was grade school. But it was an easy class.. So I finished my assignments early and got to work on my own personal stuff.
Man, though. I'm always scared to give critiques on anything including essays and s**t, because I know I can tear something apart really easily. So I have to give compliments at the same time to justify everything. Well... hm... no. But Alex is a Frenchie to the core!
Personally, I like SAI because it's more simple. But then again, I can't even tell what version my PS is. I think it's 7 but it doesn't have all the tools that 7 has. :/ And man, just go draw stuff. And hide it if you don't like it. That's what I do sometimes.

t h e C a r d M a s t e r Pffft. I wonder if they'd understand it if you said it in Spanish or something. xD && Yeah. Most of my childhood is anime, so I guess that's where my style stems from, but it's a little unnerving when artists tell me to "break my bad habit" like all I do is anime... which isn't true? It's just... I dunno. Kind of sad. xD But it's funny how none of my art teachers in college know I do anime in my spare time. I'll do it. Gimme those sailor moon shoujo a** eyeballs. >:3 Wow that's awful. :C ******** high school. Half the people don't act their age and it's obnoxious. Is it me or are freshies getting more and more immature? When I was a senior the freshmen boys were acting like 3rd graders, it was awful. Well, that's the good thing about critiquing. What I believe is a good crit is when even if someone is harsh, they will point out /how/ to fix it and what the person is doing right, so that they keep doing it. It's not just "oh this is bad" or "oh you did this wrong", I want to hear "oh this is bad because ____, a suggestion might be to _____". You know? If someone tells me I suck I want to know how I can suck less, because I already know I suck. I put my pictures out there so I can be told how to suck less. That's critique. And it's not just sunshine and flowers either. If someone is doing something right, tell them, but if they're also doing something wrong, don't leave it out. That's what I try to do when I'm in a critique for someone else's art. Let them know what's good and bad, and leave off on a positive note, even if it's "oh well if you just try x next time it could really bring out your piece" or something. But the artist should also know not to throw a fit if there is critique for their artwork. No one is telling them they HAVE to do it their way, they're merely suggestions, and I see a lot of artists get really snippy with critics who have good advice, but their ego won't let them take it. Critiquing is a two way street. You can't give critique and not be willing to take it yourself. Idk I deal with those people a lot in my art classes. >>; I've had bad experiences with critiques in the past, so I do try to not be a total d**k. xD But tearing apart an artwork verbally isn't always bad. As long as you back it up and give something to the artist so they don't feel like complete and utter s**t. Even if they're like me and are complete and utter s**t. xD You can give him a hat to stuff all his hair into. xD && Yeah, exactly. I just keep anime out of my classwork entirely, because it's not fitting for the environment. At least not yet. I'm still taking foundation classes. When we get to higher level art classes with more freedom, then I think we'll be okay.
Ooh. Photoshop. :3 You should totally work with it! I know a handy little blending tutorial to show you if you'd like. I gotta dig it up somewhere. xD

t h e C a r d M a s t e r Screw logic! XD I've never used it before, why start now?
I'm usually too freaked out to use new programs, though I've heard SAI is great and easy to use. That's a good policy though. Draw stuff, and hide the crap! XD Words to live by.True. I'll think about it XD Likely it will only be line art anyway.
You go there to learn the basics of art, and not fight the teachers the whole way. Freedom is always nice though. It annoys me that an art teacher at my University doesn't think anime is art though. She downright tells people to stop drawing it if she sees it.
Blending you say?

Blending you say? Ah, lineart is never a bad thing. ;3 I know right? I do what I'm told in class, if I don't like the subject matter, well, I'll have to deal with it. Even if one doesn't like it, one can still learn from it. I certainly have learned a lot from my classes so far. && I know right? It's like, well sorry I have a preference? Doesn't mean I'm just gonna stick to anime. I don't draw it in class, and I keep it out of my classwork. They think it's hindering, but really, ANY style can be a hindrance if you're only willing to draw said style. If someone's open minded and tries new things and practices, why shouldn't they indulge in their own preferences once in awhile? && Yes. I found out about it and was like "YESSSS FINALLY" xD Here's the tutorial

If they did, I'd be cussing at them like a gangbanger, while looking like a complete Asian nerd.
I think they're getting more and more stupid. Like seriously, freshmen are just... Man, I avoided non-honours or basic classes because a lot of the upperclassmen were in those classes. And apparently chemistry is like a junior class at my school. I didn't know this. I just took it so I wouldn't have to be with the other stupid freshmen in Earth and Space, the world's most useless science class.
I know what you mean. But really, I just sound really, really pissy and annoying when I start pointing out things. Or at least I think I do, so I usually have to ask if the person wants complete brutal honesty of my thoughts or just my thoughts filtered out.. a lot. And I do compliment well too. Everything must be balanced.
I really, really can't stand it when people CAN'T critique my stuff. :/ 'Cause then it becomes my fault for even asking them if they can't see issues. SAI just has the basics, which is why it's easier. PS takes some while to get used to, but you can really customize everything greatly to your preferences.
