Felina blushed a little but gave Oassu a hug "You don't need to worry about them I am sure. If you've taught your guild members well then I bet they will be able to handle things effectively just like you" she ressured him squeezing his hand "Umm... hey Alpha sorry to tear you away from the conversation but we need you to head over to Kunec after this breakfast and stuff"
Hayate shook his head playing with his food "Nah I think I'll stay on the fence some more. I don't really have what it takes to be a really physical person, nor to become a sage. Too much work and would mean having to give up the bow which is what I am best at" he answered slouching back in his chair while he ate.
Satoshi raised an eyebrow taking one of the nicer looking pens from gil "Now where did all those come from? Were they in your armor with the elixers" she asked amused by all the pens "I suppose the best way to promote an outfit would be simply to wear it" she pondered unsing her jutsu to change into the blue dress that was in one of her photos.

Oassu smiled "Don't worry about it, they have their own lives to leave, either they'll make it as sucessful thieves or join the rest of the homeless though I don't know how Alex is tackling poverty" he shrugged sipping his coffee.
Jenna shrugged "Sure but I'd rather have a backup" she said "Still its your call, eat up though you do look kinda scrawny" she noted.
Gil chuckled "Yea....umm they're actually for....autographs" he said blushing "I didn't want to have to carry them but occasionally they are needed" he murmered before stroking Satoshi's sides now she was in the new outfit "Mmm this looks even more beautiful in real life" he chuckled "And the material feels so sleek and smooth" he said.
Itaka smiled watching Seph's tail "They consider Alpha and you not a threat? You two are some seriously powerful demons, plus I wonder how Kimino's clan gets all their demons authorised to be here and who's in charge of the registration?" he asked "It's a global thing not just something run by one city or something so who does it all?" he pondered.
Mari giggled "I'm sure the fish are alright but they are hard to play with since they swim away so much" she said chasing one with her finger idly before getting out and following Hebal "Time to get the others right?" she asked Hebal.
Zadina paused "Well according to my book, the Drain spell was actually developed by Dark Knights seeking to combat the exhaustion they always felt it just worked well for black magic too so maybe I can teach her that and it'll help her but you all have to train hard so we can go fighting together" he said gasping as Amane pulled them all into a hug.

Seph frowned thinking it over in her head allowing her tail to smake small circles in the air "Good question but I know very little on the running of the system. They did all that just before completely sealing the gates after the demon wars. In fairness by that point I looked half dead anyway and they probably assumed Alpha wouldn't try anything stupid since he had little kids with him, one being no older than 4 or 5"
Alpha cleared his throat turning his head around to Felina "Excuse me Ma'am but his is quite important. Kunec is ok I guess but you might want to put Satoshi to sleep or something, you know what she's like with airships plus at least half of the journey will be travelling upwards" he told Felina before going back to his conversation with Xyleena.
Hebal sighed sticking her tongue out at the fish then tried imitating their faces "Yeah we should go and get the others now, maybe they will be more fun than the moody fishies. Maybe we'll even get to see the chocobo babies before we go since Chobi and boco will be awaiting us in the stables too"
Amane frowned hearing the name of the spell "I don't like magic spells like that one, drain can be particulaly mean. I don't see what bug difference there is between using that spell and having a nice big healthy breakfast" she muttered leading Zadina down the stairs.
Ardie grinned puniching the air with her fist "Yeaaaah! We are training super hard fot adventure and lookie lookie, Melanae is really getting into it" she giggled watching Melanae trip and fly forward down the stairs only to land in a pile of coats that had been hanging up.

Satoshi laughed stealing one of the pens from Gil "Surely you only need one or two of these if all you do is autographs though I didn't think in general that was your thing" she muttered letting her hair down "This one was preety hard to make because Asao always went nuts at the sight of the fabric" she added picking a purple flower and placing it in her hair while they walked up towards the porch.
Hayate yawned slicing up a piece of toast into tiny squares "I can use knives and the odd thief skill along with magic which is enough for me. Besides I'm just of a scrawny build and prefer foods that aren't too fattening" he stated shoveling the small pieces of toast onto his fork
Felina nodded to Alpha wondering what was so great about their conversation before turning back to Oassu "Hopefully he is doing something to help those in poverty rather than just gathering up troops to attack us, makes me wonder what the general publics opinion of the attack on Yithra is. Plus like Jenna and Barbaros some of your friends may have moved elsewhere"

Gil sighed "I don't really but you have to sometimes" he said idly stroking Satoshi's legs "but who's Asao and whats his probem with the fabric?" he asked admiring the flower.
Jenna yawned "Whatever you say Hayate but your magic isn't particularly special, thats the price of a red mage you shouldn't be so bound by you job, you could become a bow-wielding Sage I'm sure, Seph is a time mage and she uses a blade after all" she said.
Oassu nodded "Whatever he does he gotta keep the public marginally happy unless he wants a completely fascist state and I don't think he's developed mind control yet" he chuckled "So he'll still need to convince people to join his forces" he said.
Itaka watched Seph's tail amused by the patterns it made "Well I guess thats fair enough but it has got me curious about who authorises this register, kinda makes it hard to complain about the...barcodes and numbers" he said remembering the painful looking marks on demons.
Mari laughed as Hebal imitated the face "Thats impressive nice face Hebal" she said looking at the fish as she passed "But sure we'll need to go see our little choco babies when Jenna and Seph collect their chocobo's" she said skipping around Hebal.
Zadina sighed "Well thats why you only use it on evil people or fiends you know and you can't always have a big healthy breakfast on the battlefield." he gasped as Melanae flew downstairs before skipping down after her "Are you alright Melanae?!" he asked instantly casting cura on her.

Seph scratched her head making a star in the air with her tail "I am guessing the people who authorised it were the governments in the countries which have a gate. But we can't really make a complaint about the way we are treat because at the end of the day we are all outsiders and apparently need to appreciate the opportunity of being here" she shrugged "Oh how I would love to punch the official who told me that"
Hebal yawned jumping about in the grass trying to dry her feet "Yeah and if you want a new pet it's your last chance to buy little Merric, I think mum has a couple of potential buyers already" she sighed skipping up the porch to open the door "Mmm now something coming from this house smells really nice and it's most likely from the kitchens"
Ardie jumped up onto the banister and slid down to catch up with Melanae "Umm are you ok the there Mel? You looked like you fell quite hard on your face" she asked trying her hardest not to so much as snicker at her misfortune.
Melanae nodded with a groan picking herself up from the floor "Yeahuh I am ok and thanks for the spell" she smiled giving him a thumbs up "Now lets go get breakfast and maybe I can thank Gil again for the sword" she shrugged but froze seeing the front door open.
Amane frowned still unsure about the spell "I guess thats ok but it has potential for mean things to happen if a bad person does ever learn the spell" she muttered running to the door seeing who had come out "Hellooo mummy have you come for breakfast too?" she cheered jumping into Hebal almost knocking her over.

Satoshi snickered seeing Hebal getting attacked by her rainbow daugher "Amane's fur colour has changed quite a lot hasn't it? Asao is one of my dads dogs, she just likes shredding things up as a hobby along with chasing animals and pouncing on things" she explained looking down at her feet.
Hayate chuckled shaking his head "Me, a sage? Somehow I really don't see that happening since my magic isn't special like you said, just enough to get by. Being a sage in Yithra could get pretty boring anyway with everyone making demands at you" he added reclining in his chair thinking back to some earlier memories.
Felina stared at the oranges fighting the temptation to eat the whole lot of them "Actually... you would be surprised how willing people will be to stuff if you use the right wording but never mind. I bet all your friends are being treat just fine so long as they aren't rebelling openly"

Gil smiled "Yeah bet she's been playing around with Zadina's spellbook still sounds like Asao is a lot of fun still needs to calm down, my Enkidu is better behaved than that and he's a fiend" he chuckled.
Jenna frowned "You seem to be stuck on the impression that you can't increase your magical power but I'm sure your wrong, boost your magic power then you'd be worthwhile as a Sage" she said irritated by Hayate's complacent attitude.
Oassu nodded "Sure as far as I know they are all undercover and stuff so meh I wasn't that close with many of them anyway but I hope they're ok" he concluded.
Itaka smiled continuing watching the tail "Well if you'd punched him you'd probably prove your too dangerous to be here but don't shoot the messenger find the folk who made the laws and make them....less offensive about it" he sighed.
Mari gasped as the rainbow thing glomped Hebal "Huh?!" she stammered stepping back "Oh it's just you Amane...umm nice fur" she giggled kneeling down to admire it "I would like to buy Merric Hebal but I don't know where we'd have space, the stables are taken already by two chocobos" she sighed.
Zadina giggled seeing Amane tackle Hebal "Aww thats really cute of her" he said hopping off the last step "But if you want to see Gil and thank him again Miss Mari Lady Satoshi and Sir Gil were staying with Hebal last night so should be with them" he said running up to see if he was right.

Seph nodded using her tail to poke Itaka's arm "Why not shoot the messenger, the guy was a total jerk and clearly absolutely loved doing his job of scratching and burning the barcodes in. I wasn't in a state to attack though but I would rather not discuss that adventure further. Do you think there will be a really good second prize at the contest?"
Hebal giggled getting a tight hold of Amane in her arms "Hehe hiya, you've got to stop doing that soon since your growing into a big girl now and are almost knocking me over. I've already had breakfast but we'll sit with you guys before you go and we have cake for you" she greeted her with a kiss on the ear "Now whats with the rainbow fur? The school won't ne too happy if they see you going in like that"
Amane glanced around excitedly looking for the cake Hebal mentioned "Oh wow I love cake, I will have to have some in my paked lunch but don't worry mum Zadina said it was only a temporary spell which will wear off before school and I can't help it if your being so comfortable" she answered snuggling into her chest.
Ardie and Melanae looked at eachother for a moment before following Zadina forward to see who else was there "Hiya Miss Hebal, Hiya Miss Satoshi and Mr.Gil" they both said at the exact same time. Ardie cautiously moved a little further forward trying to catch a closer look at Gil "Umm... hi there sir I just thought I would say your a hero of mine" she told him nervously.
Melanae smiled standing next to Zadina "Why do you call the other woman Lady Satoshi? Is she from a royal family or really rich or something?" she whispered curiously to him

Satoshi grinned bending down to pat Enkidu "Nah it's not likely she'll calm down for a while. Dad kinda encourages her to do stuff like that since it helps when he takes her out hunting with Shima, thats the other dog by the way" she answered smiling at Ardie "Maybe this is one of those times to be signing an autograph, she's a cute kid" she whispered.
Felina nodded giving into her temptation and grabbing a couple of handfuls of oranges "They are fine I am positive... sorry but I'm a toal sucker for oranges" she added peeling three of the oranges at the same time "What do you reackon all the noise is going on in the hallway?" she asked him.
Hayate shrugged asking one of the passing servents to get him a coffee "Magic isn't like physical abilities, you can't always boost your power by studying and training. Still forget about it, I don't intend to change things unless I am put in a situation where I absolutely have to pull something off like that"

Gil smiled "Sure maybe but an autograph is pretty tame after I gave Melanae a sword. wonder if I've got any other spares in here" he said glancing at his left armour legplate before kneeling down to talk to "Thats very sweet of you little missy, whats your name?" he asked stroking Enkidu "Don't worry he won't bite" he chuckled.
Oassu smiled "I'm not judging you for enjoying oranges help yourself." he said glancing at the hall "I dunno maybe a servant dropped something still the others will need to get here soon" he said.
Jenna sighed "Surely there's another way by the time it comes down to it it'll be too late when you wish you'd focused your power a bit more" she shrugged.
Itaka chuckled "Well I guess thats fair" he said stroking Sephs tail seeing it wanted attention "Still I think these competitions usually have some dark matter or a rare weapon or something which would work probably" he said.
Mari giggled waving the cake in Amane's face "Well your fur looks beautiful Amane and here's the cake Hebal was talking about but did you have fun with Zadina?" she asked
Zadina giggled seeing Ardie be all shy and Amane snuggle Hebal "Umm nope she's not she just seems real ladylike and nice" he said dropping his voice to a whisper "Don't you see how pretty she is now?" he whispered quietly.

Seph scratched her head wrapping her tail around Itaka's arm "Hmm... I was half expecting a nice cash sum but a rare item would be nice too. Theres usually a third prize too so I bet the final three will be me you and Gil and we will take away a full house of prizes" she grinned thinking about it while deciding to go for another bunch of cherries.
Amane grinned sniffing around and jumping down from Hebal to examine the cake "Ooooh this looks yummy yummy do you think people would mind if me and my friends had a slice in our packed lunches?" she asked her mum before glancing up at Mari "Thank you for the compliment and yes Zadina was really really fun to play with and told me lots of stories and showed me lots of pretty spells"
Hebal nodded getting a tighter grip on Sophia who had been sitting between her ears the whole time "Sure I don't see why you can't have some for your packed lunch so long as you remember to get an adult to help you cut the cake. Thanks Zadina for giving Amane a good time" she added calling out to Zadina while starting a clapping game with her kid.
Ardie hesitated cautiously extending her hand to stroke Enkidu "Umm.. I..err... My name is Ardie sir. I'm a friend of Amane's and am in the same class as her" she mumbled nervously petting the fiends shoulder.
Melanae nodded getting a good look at Satoshi "Yeah I see what you mean when you say she is really pretty but does that mean she's all well mannered and graceful then? She doesn't really look like a ninja I pictured... always thought they wore black uniforms.

Hayate nodded searching through his things pulling a small box from his bad wrapped up in several layers of foil "You think I haven't thought about something like that being a problem. You can always force a class upgrade or change if your at your highest level with the right item. The tail in this box is meant to be linked to it class changes, cost me about 2 years worth of wages and I get 1000 an hour minimum"
Felina laughed overhearing Amane's reaction to the cake "Actually... listening a little more I think Hebal just arrived and Amane is most definitely in the hall but thanks, I didn't want to look like a total pig getting all this food" she added offering a piece of an orange to him "I wonder what would happen if a servent really did drop something valuble around here"
Satoshi slowly nodded her head keeping hold of Terrato who was trying to slither onto Ardie to say hi "We guessed you were one of Amane's friends but Ardie is quite a pretty name. Are you an elementalist like Melanae is?" she asked trying to make conversation with her "I never thought you would have much of a fanbase here Gil apart from that one big fantic from the other day"

Jenna nodded "All the same, a class change alone doesn't guarantee power, as a sage it'd only unlock your powers meaning you could use higher level magic, but you'd still need to go back to magic school and learn all the spells and stuff" she said.
Oassu smiled "Thats good then we'll all be together soon" he said taking the orange "But I'm sure the staff here are really careful and stuff Xyleena has quite a few valuables after all" he said noting some of the expensive looking paintings on the wall.
Gil smiled "Me neither but hey did Ardie show you the nice sword I got her, well I think I've got something else you might like" he said opening his other legplate and rummaging around "Here I've got better swords than this one but it's called Vitanova" he said handing it to Ardie "Just as a little memento and since you are all friends" he said ruffling her hair.
Itaka raised an eyebrow as Seph trapped his arm "Heh well sure but I'm betting there will be some interesting characters there, Gil isn't the only well known swordmaster in the land" he warned Seph stroking Seph's lower back with his bound arm.
Mari nodded "And your mum made this cake all by herself and I watched her so she wouldn't make any mistakes or nothing" she laughed waving to Zadina who waved back.
Zadina nodded "Normally she does wear a rather....close-fitting outfit which allows her to move about well this is the first time I've seen her wearing a casual outfit like his" he whispered.

Seph nodded using her grip on Itaka's arm to pull him closer to her "I know there will be other legendary swordsmen around but you know, us lot are starting to develop quite a big reputation in some parts of the world so it won't be long until we are legends too. Well you already are kinda but moreso" she concluded.
Amane giggled pretending to let out a sigh of relief "Thats good because it means I won't get food poisoning or anything, personally I am amazed mum made anything without making an explosion... anyway come on everybody lets go get us some breakfast" she cheered pulling Heal by the arm towards the dining room "Good morning smel- Miss Betsy" she greeted one of the servents on the way quickly changing her words.
Hebal tutted allowing Amane to take her to breakfast grabbing Mari to get her to follow "Now now, how many times do I have to tell you not insult all the servents you don't like. Plus I'll have you know my cooking is getting much better now. I even baked bread without an explosion right Mari?"
Melanae frowned turning around to see where everyone was going "Hey Ardie why don't you guide those two to breakfast and catch up with us" she suggested winking at her before pulling Zadina away after Amane "Her outfit is kinda provokative isn't it?" she commented as soon as they were far enough away not to be heared.
Ardie gasped partly from surprise at receiving a sword and partly because her friends had left her to help Gil and Satoshi inside "Umm... are you giving this to me? Are you sure you don't want it" she blushed examiming the sword but jumped back noticing the snake around satoshi's arm "That guy doesn't bite and poison people does he?"
