Ghost trotted up beside her. "Come, I will do it with you. If it makes you happy, we can feel silly together." He said, opening his wings and walking forward swiftly, encouraging her to run beside him.
Prince slouched slightly, he wanted to fly NOW. He sat down on the ground and watched, pouting his father taught Lithea to fly.

Lithea snorted and swished her tail. "Fine." She wasn't happy about it but followed his lead. She streched out her wings and broke into a run. "It doesn't work." She started to slow down again, but didn't stop.
Kipcha walked over to her sulking colt. "Prince let her have a turn. She needs the help that you didn't." She lowered her head and started to groom his face, getting in the way of his view.

Ghost broke into a slow canter beside his filly. "Come now, you've got to want to fly to be able to..." He said, and began flapping his wings, the air reverbrating with the surges of air.
Prince protested slightly. "Mother..." he began, but finally subdued to being groomed.

Kipcha chuckled and kept grooming, working her way down his neck to his shoulders.
Lithea had to pick up her pace again just to keep up with him. She streched out her wings again and started flapping the attempts weak and making little progress.

Ghost snorted. "Come on, Lithea, try." He ordered. He quickened his pace again, forcing her to gallop and flapped his wings faster. "Now, try this." He said. He gathered himself and pushed off the ground with his hindlegs, and with one powerful wingbeat, he was in the air, circling his filly.
Prince stood still, beginning to enjoy the grooming. His attention was quickly diverted when he saw his father in the air, circling his sister. "Mother, look at Father!" He asked, watching his sire in wonder.

Lithea did as he asked. Seeing her father in the air she flapped hard and jumped off the ground. She fluttered into the air for a moment before her hooves touched the ground again.
Kipcha raised her head watching Ghost. "You'll be flying just like him soon enough."
Lithea snorted and tried harder. She gathered herself before she lept this time and stayed in the air, flapping her wings hard.
"Look at your sister. She's finaly got it. I'm sure she'd love for you to join her." Kiphca nudged him forward with her muzzle. [g]"Go on."

((It doesnt look like anything too exiting is going on..So I'm going to have another time skip. If anyone minds, just say so and I will edit my post.))
*Nearly two months had come and passed. The thick of summer was brute upon the land, drying it all like a handful of lavedar strung upside-down. Dreamcloud's golden coat was a thick coat of mud, the flies thicker than ever. Sepsis and Moon had also become brownish and caked on with the goopy, clay-filled river mud that had seemingly formed over night, separating the caves and jungle from the rest of the land between a thin stream of cold water and a sandy, sticky bottom that would get a horse stuck up to her knees.*
*Dreamcloud had just finished rolling in a fresh coat of mud, a heavy rainstorm the night before having washed them all virtually clean. Her stomach hung more than a foot lower, the foal within growing strong and thick. He moved quite often, giving his dam little sleep. As the thick summer night wore on the herd found themselves unbothered by flies, but uncomfortably warm. The crickets and bullfrogs were singing their swamp-like symphony and the young Dream found herself finding her way to the cave. Little life could be found in there, being no food or water source and little light or hiding places. A few unsocial bats which thinned in numbers each year hung silently asleep as dawn fast approached. Galloping in a hurry, she slowed with the pain but dared not stop in the middle of the open fields. Wolves and Cougars were surely on the hunt and would find a newborn foal and it's exhausted mother the easiest meal they would ever get their paws on.*
*So close, and yet so far away she doubled over and nearly collapsed on the ground. For hours it seemed she breathed sighs of relief, no sight of anything hungry. As the sun rose and peaked over the distant horizon, she lay there, nearly still. Finding the stregnth inside her somewhere, she lifted her now very heavy head and strained her eyes as she looked back to find a somewhat large black foal. Sitting up she gave his face a thourough cleaning, touching lightly on his legs and body. The mare collapsed on the ground, sleep violently throwing her into unconciousness, the foal called out to anything for care. He bleated and squeaked, grunted and snorted but nothing aroused to attention at his attempts that he could sense.*
*Growing louder and more desperate for something to clean him off and give him shelter and attention, Dreamcloud aroused like that of a limp puppet with missing strings. The sweat-covered thin layer of mud was smearing and making it uncomfortable to move, each peice that fell off took a bit of winter coat with it. She shook her head, bits of the cakey mud flying off and gave the foal the attention he craved. As the sun hit his coat and it became increasingly clean, she noticed it glittered with a pearlized kind of sheen, as dark pearls would. A pair of large, beautiful wings were tucked tightly to his back. Black and gold with a small touch of red. Near white were his eyes, along with his muzzle, mane and tail. He had four white stockings with black hooves. The colt was stunningly beautiful, the sun giving his coat the same kind of mystical glow his dam had.*
*As the feeling of sleep left Dreamcloud's body, she became overwhelmed with pride. She began to slow down and take more care in cleaning him, soon noticing a peculiar symbol on his upper flank, an oddly- shaped patch, somehwat similar to hers in a vague similarity. A few names passed across her mind, but nothing stuck.*

Evander awoke to find Dreamcloud gone. A strong smell hit him and he knew the time had passed. He jolted to his feet and was off like a streak of lightning. He slid to a half outside the caves, a streak of flame igniting the ground. Groaning with frustration he quickly stamped it out and trotted into the cave to find his mate and his new foal lying on the floor. He lowered his head and sniffed at the colt, blowing his wet new mane back slightly. He proudly approved of his heir and lay down with them. The reality of finally his own foal brought so much emotional feeling into him, he didn't know what to say, he was so thirlled. He stumbled over his tongue and came out with, "Good job, Dreamcloud, he's beautiful. A perfect mix." He sighed with happiness and pride.
Ghost stood contentedly under a tree and watched his herd with lazy eyes. Both his foals could fly considerably well now, although Prince seemed to have more of a natural talent for it. He was always twirling through the air in corkscrews and things of such nature around his sister.
Prince awoke next to his dam and yawned sleepily, the heat made him constantly tired. He stood up and shook his coat, flapping his lwings to free them of caked mud. He sneezed lightly, then walked a little awkwardly over to Lithea. He pushed her lightly with his muzzle. "Lithea, wake up." He said.

Diamond slept silently. She hadn't been sleeping that well becuase of the heat waves but she tried to get as much sleep as possible. As she heard the birds singing, Diamond opened her sleepy eyes and yawned brifely. The morning sun was rising to dawn. Shaking her head she looked around to see Dreamcloud gone, and so Evander. Slowly she forced herself up from the grass. She shook her whole coat, to get off all the dry mud that had stuck to her coat. Her coat wasn't pure white anymore. Her mane became a more whiteish greyish, and her coat had mud stains. Her hooves where covered in mud. Snorting she bowed her head to graze nerby of her foals.
Jewel had grown a soft spot for Prince and had became friends with Lithea. Jewel had grown also, and now her coat was mixed with gray and black. Her mane had grown long and now was passed her whiters. Her tail had also grown longer, and had found out what her gem was used for. She could run supper fast, wich she enjoyed very much, as she could almost feel herself off the ground. Jewel soon awoked not long after her dam. She looked up and saw that where her brother usally slept, he wasn't there. She smiled softly and got up shaking her coat. She nuzzled her mother a greeting and soon trotted off towards Prince, her gait flowing, as if she was cantering. Jewel gave the colt a happy nicker, and slowed herself down as she neared close.
Storm galloped across the forest, his long mane blowing in the wind, and his tail nearly touching the ground. He was now a yearling and he loved to travel out at dawn, before the others awoke. He enjoyed it very much, and usally stood on the mountain top watching the sun rise. He stride hit the ground powerfully, his long stride smooth. He flapped his wings powerfully and with one flap and a leap from the ground he was fully up in the air, reaching the clouds. He had become a very good flyer and now flew alongside of the clouds.

Lithea snorted and shook out her mane, flinging dry mud at him. "Prince." She whinned "Once I start sleeping you have to want to play. Your silly Brother." She grinned at him, before stretching and nipping at him. She trotted away from her parents nickering to Prince and the other foals to follow.
Kipcha watched the foals. "There up to something Ghost. Just look at them." Both of the foals had done plenty of schemeing and getting themselves into trouble. They were getting better at plaining things out so that no one else had anything idea what they were doing.

*Warily, Dreamcloud looked up at Evander and nuzzled him as he lay down. The foal had settled but now began to start up the whining again, hungry and helpless. He crawled a little, opening his eyes slowly and poking his muzzle around Dreamcloud's flanks. Standing, she began to encourage him, too. Supporting his warm little body as he quickly learned to stand.*
Well...What do you think we aught to name him?

Jewel tossed her head and trotted after them, her flowing strides, in matter of seconds catching up to them.
Storm snorted as he saw the herd come into view. Shaking his head he folded his wings across his back and shot down from the sky, like a speeding bullet, his mane flapping like crazy as the wind hit it. As he got close to the ground, Storm opened them, and his white wings glided him down to the ground saftley. As his hooves touched the ground, he let out a whinny and shot up to a rear, kicking his mighty legs out wildly. He stayed up in the air for a matter of seconds, before coming down on all fours. Seeing Ghost and Kipcha he gave a little bow, before trotting proudly over to his dam, nickering.

((I totally went to a fantasy name generator and found these. xD ))
Evander smiled and remained on the cave floor. "How about....Shyight...or Havell?" He asked, looking at the gorgeous colt.
Ghost laughed. "They probably are...Who knows what they'll think of now?" He replied to Kipcha, nuzzling her.
Prince laughed. "Well, what else am I for except to torment you?" He replied, nipping at her growing mane with a mischevious smile. He had grown alot in the past two months, and was now almost half a year old. He had the same graceful gaits as his father and his coat, like his mother's, had begun to take on a shimmer in the sunlight, no longer fuzzy as fuzzy and awkward. "Hey, you wanna go for a quick fly?" He asked hopefully. He had a passionate love for it, he excelled at flying above the clouds. He was even willing to fly in storms, but his parents refused to allow it.

"But Jewell can't fly we'd have to leave her out of the plan." Lithea looked back at the other filly. Her brothers obsession for flying annoyed her, "Alright let's go but this time let's stay out of sight for awhile." She returned the n** and galloped off, pushing herself off of the ground and leaping into the air.
Kipcha swished her tail. "I've no idea but it won't be good. They get into trouble more often than any other foals I've ever known."
