Stalker glanced back good everything was going well, okay just around the corner and it should be right......"Holy Crap." The young teen had halted dead in her tracks as she stared....up at an enourmous towering being-like thing, she couldn't even figure out what it looked like, the only prominent thing that stood out from it were it's coal black slit of eyes and ashen grey teeth. How in the name of all that is holy did she flippin' miss that thing?
"Shapeshifter!" Stalker's head shot over in the direction of the voice, it was one of the librarian's...apparently just about all of them were there trying to tie the dang thing down, but at the moment the stupid beastthing kept snapping the ropes like mere thread. Ah! So thats how she missed it, the idiot was probably the size of a bean when she let it out. "Er....Crap need a plan of some sort 'ere."

Sketch almost crashed into Stalker because of her short stop. His jaw dropped when he saw the beast. "Captain Stalker, what did you unleash?" A shapeshifter?
"A plan indeed," Sketch agreed. holding himself up with one hand. He grabbed the gun and put it in the special laser mode. The same mode that got them in this mess.
"Any ideas?"

Eva steepled her fingers, surveying Rosuto critically for a long moment before speaking again. "Put your toys away for now. And you'll be carrying a gun, get one at the portal room." She let her chair drop forwards with a loud clunk. "Phalanx is currently assigned to a tricky case involving the recapture of psychopathic, telepathic, split presonality'd twins in an insane asylum. The plan requires two short range combatants and one long range. We, that's you and me, draw them out and fight them off. When that fails, as it most likely will, we slap glow-in-the-dark patches on them and break all the lights. They won't be able to see anything, but our sniper will. Questions? Comments? Major life issues?"

Stalker clenched her teeth together. Crap, Oh Crap what the hell was she gonna do? "E-ern....Nooo..not yet...er....How `bout we wing it? Either way we need to restrain it long enough to trap it in that black box." Her finger's twitched in anticipation as she slowly drew her sword again. She really wished she had a gun now. "...."

Rosuto reluctantly tucked away the knife. "I get to use a gun? That's cool, I guess. Twins, eh? Do we have names? Or are we just gonna refer to them as "twins" the whole time?"
Rosuto's fingers twitched. "So I get to be a distraction. I just wish I had something to fiddle with ... do I really have to keep my knife tucked away?"

She opened a drawer in her desk and rummaged briefly, producing a gleaming silver puzzle ring so convoluted it looked like it had spent some quality time under a steamroller. She tossed it across the desk. "Knock yourself out. You need a codename. I think Twitch will do. What do you think? You can complain while we walk." She got up and walked around the desk, straight out the door.

"Twitch. Hmm ..." Rosuto though for a moment while fiddling with the puzzle ring. "I like it! It's like a nickname! Funny, my real name is a nickname too, you haven't even heard the name I was born with, but it's not like I'll ever tell you so forget I mentioned it." she followed her captain step for step around the base, chatting animately and barely pausing for breath or reply. "You know, you're pretty nice. I kinda like you. I thought I'd have to work for some grumpy old fart but you aren't so bad, maybe my day isn't going so bad after all, so do you like pancakes cuz I really like pancakes ..."

Eva smiled wryly as she led Twitch to the shooting range. Yes, the chatter was definately getting annoying. In fact, it was really starting to piss her off. However, Twitch's greatest asset seemed to be her seemingly limitless well of energy, and Eva had no inclination of capping that well. At least not at the moment. She stuck her ifngers in her ears as they entered the range and walked up behind Forte. "Forte! This is Twitch!" she shouted over the gunfire. "We're going to go get some loonies! Care to join us?!"
