Well, seeing as I've already made an a** of myself before I posted here (didn't look for the welcome page sweatdrop ) I guess I, er...
Y'all can call me Joker, MJ, or Jokes.
I'm 19, Half-Greek Half-Colombian, Born in the US, studying to be a chef at the Art Institutes, and I've been a metalhead since I could remember, starting with bands like Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne (to whom I still listen to on a nightly basis) and have since moved on to bands such as D.R.I, Carcass, Arch Enemy (Angela Gossow is so freakin hot.....) and (my favorite) GWAR!
I try to think of myself as a reliable person, steadfast in the face of adversity, but... :/ Whatever your opinion of me is to this point and from here in in is all up to whether or not you have a sense of humor. :p

Ofcourse Black/Progressive/Thrash/Doom/Folk and even more are apart of my collection, but I cannot possibly sit here and spill out all that I know in my intro.
Things to know: I am not an elitist...but I'm not an easy listener. I have listened to a million bands. If I do not care for the band you show me...do not feel bad. I just have heard alot...it's hard to come close to how I feel about some music...especially finding bands that can impress me more than at least 2 of the bands listed above.
I am a musician myself. I play Guitar. I am also an artist. Please get to know me. It could be a good thing or not. I wouldn't care tooooo much dramallama cheese_whine

Hello, folks!
My name is Henry a.k.a. The Metalgeek. I've been a Metalhead since age five. The band that got me into Metal was Solitude Aeturnus, a Doom Metal band from Arlington TX. Their guitarist, John Perez, was friends with my mom, so whenever their new albums would come out, John would give me a tape. Speaking of my mother, she played a huge roll in my becoming a headbanger by raising me on Megadeth, Metallica, Stryper, Ozzy, etc.. Over the years, I started listening to more and more genres and subgenres and my tastes encompass almost ALL forms of heavy music. I call myself the Metalgeek because I'm also a geek, in case it was too cryptic for you razz I'm a sucker for all things Metal. I like to learn about the history and cultural importance of Metal by watching documentaries and reading books on the subject. Brutal Legend is my favorite game because it is a BRILLIANT marriage of Metal and geekdom. Anyway, I look forward to meeting and talking to all of you, and I hope you're having a wonderful day.
