Arch the Angel The assembled troops began to fire into the standing Enforcer, a mix of bullets and plasma rounds. The bus revved it's engine, charging towards it. "Seehr, gimmeh ah rahmp!" Arch called over the speakers, picking up speed. A large ramp lifted itself out of the ground, the bus getting on it, and launched off, flying at the Enforcer's chest. The Seer turned his attention elsewhere: to the missing Siege Tanks. He quickly dove into the ground as if it were water, flying down at the submerged Enforcer. The ground around it animated, forcing inwards as the earth attempted to implode the monster. ~~~ "Sex later, work now." The Chief called over to them. "We're clear. Move out." He said, the troops. "You two, stay and play flashlight while we move in. Maintain silence 'less someone finds us." The Chief called, moving down to the ground level, and into the base. The Enforcer attempted to smash the bus out of the air, only to loose it's arm in the process. The bus tore through it, and the Enforcer began to swell, then exploded, leveling several tanks and hummers near it. Left in the smoking crater where the Enforcer once stood was a Monstrosity, which promptly hurled itself at the nearest object, which was an Atlantean. The Enforcer under the ground detonated as the ground smashed it, but the Seer was sized by a second Enforcer, which burst from the ground, and no less than seven Enforcers rose from the ground with it.

The bus was sent flying back before Arch managed to catch himself and crank on the inertia, sending it slamming to the ground.
The shockwave killed a good deal of soldiers, and sent a handful of the Atlanteans flying. The few still standing opened fire on the Monstrosity, Herbasis leaping in it's way, leveling his rifle at it's face before firing.
The Seer's eye flared as it was pulled out of the ground. The Enforcer, upon inspection of it's prize, found it's hand to be dissolved, ending at the elbow-joint. The Seer was levitating, light building up around him, quickly searing after the offending Enforcer.

The small group infiltrated the base, moving silently through the halls. The Chief made note that most of the troops seemed to be moving towards the outside of the base, allowing them to go unseen as they moved in deeper.
"Streak, you have a map or some such of this place? We could use some schematics right now." The Chief called back, peering around a corner, signaling the clear.

Several of Jerhic's began opening fire, having thier shells shrugged off. The Seer's Enforcer looked dumbly at it's arm, and simply fell to pieces on the ground.

Minerva the Marvelous "Do you usually kiss your troops?" Minerva gave him a sharp look. "Don't do it again. I don't like special treatment, of any kind." She flicked a bug off the side of the truck. "But yes, I'm with you." "I kiss the female ones. Male ones I buy beer." He replied, nodding, "Good to have you with us."

Strike entered Krovh by accident, but when he realized where he was he smiled. He thought back to what Arthur had said. Supers and Humans he thought. This is where I belong. I wonder where I can join...

Hattie had her foot all the way down on the gas pedal and was bearing down on Jehric's Hummer. Her heart raced and hammered against her chest at her worry for Eric. She drove one handed, holding so tight that her fingers were probably leaving their mark in the leather steering wheel. Her other hand was on her stomach and was shaking in fear. She chewed her bottom lip and starred ahead.
In her head she knew Eric was okay. She had seen him get into the Hummer, she knew he was okay, knew it, but heart didn't seem to be getting the message.

Minerva the Marvelous Das Steube "They do get the beer, too. Just remember that." He replied, and then paused, "Wait..." "Joy...." she said in a dry tone. She raised her eyebrow at the pause. "Wait for what?" "Do you hear the sound of combat? Jerhic and the Angel should be here. Why isn't there gunfire?" He rose, sitting up, looking over the top of the Wrecker as it pulled up to the military HQ, to find the streets deserted, the clolor draining from his face, a mix of worry and frusteration crossing his slender features. "We need to get the Grid down. With it down, the supers loyal to us will be able to fight, including the Regulators."He said, looking to Minerva, "Min, Ricks, Guns, come ith me. We're going to the Grid's control room. All other forces... He said, holding the send button on his headset, "Go to the City Gates and see what's going on. Render any and all forms of aid needed." He said, hopping off the back of the truck, motioning for the three he signaled for to come with him." Her fears should have been allayed as Eric's brown head popped out, holding his crossbow, and squeezing it off, the advancingEnforcer's head exploding in a bright white fireball, as the hulk fell backwards.

Hattie's heart skipped a beat and flew up into her throat as she saw Eric's head pop out of the Hummer's window. She switched to the passenger side and drove up beside it. She rolled down the window of the truck and yelled over to the Hummer.
"You a*****e! You scared the crap outta me!" She screamed at Eric, resisting the urge to cry. She didn't cry, at least not before she'd joined in this mess and she wasn't about to start now.
