Maven walked into Celadon city with Vixy still in her arms, and Phyra at her side. She knew her cousin lived around here somewhere. However she hadn't visited him in forever. She walked the streets thankful that no one decided to challenge her.
Maven walked down the streets and finally recognized a house. She sent Phyra into the back yard knowing she'd be safe. She then knocked on the door and her aunt answered.
"Hi auntie...Im here for the contest that will take place. Figured I'd stop in and say....AAHI!!" Maven started to say but was dragged in a big hug from her aunt and pulled inside.
"MAVEN it's been so long! Trevor will be excited to see you. OH and here I thought you had gotten a Ponyta." She said noticing the Vulpix "I did Phyra's in back resting. I'm taking care of this one." "Well you are staying here as you wait for the contest. No questions now go wash up I'll have some food for you soon."
Maven smiled to herself and put Vixy down as she washed her hands and Vixy's paws.
"We'll bring some out to Phyra later..just she's to big for the house."
Maven smiled and sat down at the table with Vixy on her lap curled up. Her aunt fixed her a nice meal and Maven finished a third of it and gave another thrid to Vixy as she went out and lied in the backyard letting Phyra have the last.

Kasiya smiled dearly at her Arcanine - the Fire puppy certainly had grown a lot since the day she first met him, both in size and stature. Somehow not finished yet, Weezing came floating back down to the earth looking a bit dazed and singed from the last attack. "Finish it off, Hiro! Give it your Flame Wheel!"
Gladly, Hiro let out a roar and his body became wreathed in flames. His large paws made light contact on the ground, and the Arcanine rammed into the already weakened Weezing with the flaming tackle, knocking it out almost instantly. Letting the blazing flames die down, Hiro trotted back over to Kasiya, and sat down, great pink tongue lolling out of his mouth happily. Jonathan shrugged, and recalled his Weezing without a word. "Not bad," he said casually, although he knew he probably wouldn't be winning this one. He hesitated a moment, but let his second Pokemon free. It was bright yellow in colour, and stood a little over five feet tall - hardly menacing, at least according to Hiro. A mane of white, puffy fur adorned its neck, and it had a rather large nose and a pair of pointed ears.
"Hypno," Kasiya mumbled, watching the Psychic-type swing its pendulum back and forth, its eyes darting between its opposition and the circular object it held in its hands. "Okay Hiro, Bite attack!" the girl ordered simply; this battle had already been just the warm-up she needed before facing Koga.

Hiro let out a vicious growl as he dashed towards the Hypno, gnashing his teeth and sinking them into a fleshy spot on Hypno's arm. Once he had a firm hold, the Arcanine shook his foe fiercely, something which Kasiya hadn't seen him do in a while. "Fight back, Hypno! Headbutt!" Jonathan commanded. Giving a nod, and wincing under the pressure of Hiro's jaws clamped around its right arm, the Hypnosis Pokemon reared back and slammed its head into the Arcanine's side, causing the large Fire-type to yelp and release him. Still growling, Hiro retreated a bit, bearing his teeth.
Kasiya didn't change her stance in the slightest. Smiling, she set Hiro on the attack again, this time the call being for a Take Down. The Arcanine bolted forward, throwing his weight into attack, only to have the Hypno sidestep. "Come on, Hypno! Counter with a Psychic!" Jonathan nodded, pointing at Hiro. Hypno swung its pendulum around a few times, a bright green aura engulfing both itself and the Arcanine and lifting the latter from the ground as if he weighed nothing. With a carefree flick of its wrist, Hypno sent Hiro flying, and the Fire-type came crashing down in front of Kasiya with a painful-sounding thud.

Kilik felt something rubbing against his stomach. He opened his eyes slowly to see Mazarin sitting there, sliding back and forth.
"Mornin', Sleeping Beauty!" He laughed, still rubbing his rear end on Kilik's stomach. He stopped then hopped off, looking at him, "Remember how I'd wake you up when you came over?" Mazarin scratched the back of his head, "Guess it looks a bit frilly doing it at this age, huh?"
The boy stood up quickly, his feet planted lopsidedly on the cushions of the couch. "What the hell is your problem?!" he barked, "Couldn't you slap me with one of those stupid wings?!" Kilik took a deep breath then looked down, "And where'd I get this blanket? And where's my coat?" His bare arms took a sudden draft from an open window and he shivered. Jumping from the couch and giving a dark glance at Mazarin, Kilik walked over to the chair that his coat was draped over.
"I gotta say, man.." Mazarin laughed, "You shoulda slept in that guest bedroom. Unlike me."
"Wait, you didn't sleep?" Kilik blinked, pulling his arm through one of the sleeves and straighting his coat tails, tugging lightly at the teeth of the zipper.
"No way!" the winged boy ran his fingers through his silver hair, "Couldn't, man. Not while I was watching that total red haired vixen sleeping." He suddenly found himself on the floor, with his arms being tugged and a foot planted firmly in the middle of his back.
"You're!" Kilik tugged his arms, "Such! A! Womanizer!" He let go, walked off of Mazarin and sighed heavily. "How did I ever become friends with you?" he asked the ceiling, slapping a hand over his eyes.

The air felt good on Mike's now naked hands, red indents lined his palms from the tightness of the gloves. He waved them around happily, then pulled out his notebook and pen. Walking towards the Gym door, he etched out a little note: My Dearest Flannery,
Hello, it's Mike! I'm home at the moment, and plan on staying for a little while, maybe a day or so. If you'd like, we could get lunch together at the usual place, or have a battle, it's up to you. Just writing this to say I miss you and love you.
To those who no doubt will read this who's name is not Flannery, hi. =D
With much love, your valiant knight, MikeUsing a bit of tape he had, the boy stuck the note to the wall, hoping she would get it soon. He really did miss her. ... Mike and Nitro waited a little while, wandering around town doing nothing constructive. The boy contemplating visiting Flannery at her home, but he didn't want to be rude if she was sleeping. He got an image of her with her hair down, working hard on Gym cleanup after a glorious win. His heart fluttered as a dopey grin was plastered on his face. Nitro sighed, tis had been a common practice of his trainer's since long before they left for Vermillion to start training. After some more wandering around, Mike found himself bored. "Alright, it's time to spice things up a bit." The boy said with a chuckle, taking out his PokeNav. Holding the down button on his number list, it scrolled down randomly, Mike closing his eyes. "Ha!" He let go, opening his eyes to see what number it stopped on. Kilik. "Alright!" He cheered. "The kid with the Ele...kid." He dialed his number without a second thought, happily listening to the ring on the other side.

Rena come out of the bathroom, dressed in the same clothes from yesterday (she had them washed while she slept), her hair was dripping lightly. "Did I miss something?" she blinked at the sight of Mazarin on the ground and Kilik looking very irritated.
"Hm?" Kilik lifted his hand to look at her over his nose and then laughed, "No, no. You didn't miss anything." Kilik walked over to her and leaned in slightly, "I'll tell you when we're on Pidgeot." He felt a little sprinkle of water when she nodded. Then he found himself in a headlock, with Mazarin's fist rubbing his scalp in a very painful noogey.
"I got an idea! How about you let me fly with the babe and you fly with Murkrow!" the boy laughed, letting Kilik go and brushing himself off, "I mean, it'd only be fair. I did sleep in the same room as her. Yup," he nodded, "Good ol' sleep."
He's a lost cause! Kilik thought, sighing heavily. Rena blinked and smiled, having no clue what was going on. Suddenly, Kilik felt his pants vibrate. "Whoa! That's an awkward feeling." He clasped his hand around the ringing PokeNav in his pocket and read the name that came across it. "Mike? What's he calling me for?"
Mazarin leaned towards Rena's ear. "Bum-buddy. Mmhm." He nodded.
Kilik growled at Mazarin, turned around and flicked. "'Ello, Kilik speaking."

"Ey! Kilik!" Mike practically shouted into the receiver. "What's up!" He smiled, pretty amused with his hearty greeting. "Listen, I'm in Lavaridge, my hometown, and to be honest, am a little bored. I was wondering if you wanted to swing by and maybe Napalm can have a little rematch with your Elekid. If that goes well, we could have a full out six on six." Mike nearly giggled at the thought of a full out battle, feeling excited with the possibility of Portabello and Titanium getting some much needed training.

Kilik nearly had to keep the reciever away from his ear to not take the risk of going deaf. When Mike had stopped talking, he placed the device back to his ear. "Uh, alright. Sure!" he looked over his shoulder at Rena and Mazarin, "I'd be bringing some company. And Elekid's been itching for a rematch with Napalm ever since Vermillion!" When he came to the topic of a full out battle, he gulped, "How about a nice three-on-three after that?" He laughed nervously, "My Pokemon aren't near as high leveled as yours are." He scratched the back of his neck.
Unless he'd let me use Poppite. Fat chance.

The meal of hotdogs was a tasty one. The Professor and his aide ate as only boys can, talking to each other through mouthfuls of bun and sausage. The two seemed to be able to understand each other perfectly well but Akane could only make out half the words.
The meal finished, she and Twinkers followed Professor Oak into a large library. "Please look at whatever books you'd like. I've got a few emails to respond to. When your done Tracey can show you to the guest bedroom." Professor Oak then wandered off towards what looked like his office.
The library was extensive; many of the books were complex and laden with scientific terms Akane barely understood (she only understood what she did thanks mainly to her parents constant talk of their research). After a while of browsing Akane settled down in a comfortable chair at a large desk, a towering pile of books in front of her and she began to read. Twinkers, in the meantime, busied herself playing with Allegra and exploring the mansion.

The boy felt his spirits sink a bit at the mention of a 3 on 3. "Alright!" He bounced back, speaking happily into the Nav. "See you here!" Without waiting for a response, Mike clicked the Nav shut, and began walking towards his home, Nitro following after.

He opened his mouth to say something, but the line had already clicked dead. Closing his Nav and tucking it into his jacket pocket (the feeling of vibrating pants was a little too strange), he turned to his two companions. "Looks like we're going to Lavaridge."
"Lavaridge!" Mazarin nearly spun around on the spot at the mention, "That's where that total hottie of a Gym Leader lives!" He placed a hand over his heart, "Flannery, your beauty burns like the Fire-type that you train!" He felt a hand pat his shoulder.
"Relax, Casanova. Mike's already gotten dibs." At that moment, it was as if he could feel Mazarin's heart crushed beneath those little words. The boy turned to Rena and smiled. "Care for a flight to Lavaridge?" he smiled.
"My hair will dry on our flight," she nodded, "And Pidgeot's been wanting to go somewhere where he could fly for a long time." She took Kilik's hand and walked him out of the Center. Upon reaching the outside, she grabbed a Pokeball from her belt and tossed it into the air. Pidgeot burst from the ball, his trail of feathers that came from his head fluttered in the wind. "Hop on, Kilik." Rena tossed a leg over the flying Pokemon, sitting on the spot between its wings.
The boy gulped. The only time he had ever flown on a Pokemon was when Mai had practically hijacked him with her Aerodactyl. He managed to get onto the bird, wrapping his arms around Rena's waist for fear of falling off. Kilik stradled the Pokemon, somewhat comfortable and nodded into the girl's back.
"Yeah, okay!" Mazarin complained, releasing his Murkrow from its Pokeball, "That's totally cool. I see how it is. You get the babe and I get the stupid bird with the hat." His Pokemon began to furiously peck at his head. "Murkrow! Stoppit! Use Fly! Follow Pidgeot!" he groaned as he watched the other Pokemon fly up into the air, flapping its strong wings.
Rena smiled and blushed lightly when she felt Kilik squirm and inch up a little closer to her. "Just don't look down and you'll be fine." She looked over to see a Murkrow carrying a rather large ball of black smoke, though it looked solid. She groaned and rolled her eyes, knowing it was Mazarin.
It's offical. I never want a Flying Pokemon.

"Hiro! Are you okay?" Kasiya asked, biting her bottom lip as the Arcanine pulled himself to his feet, and shook himself out. His face was etched into a snarl, and he replied by roaring loudly, bits of flame escaping his throat as he did so. "Good then! Flamethrower!" The girl called, never growing tired of watching the copious amounts of flames spewing out and engulf her opponents. Neither did Hiro for that matter, the Pokemon seemed to be laughing jovially after his attack.
Hypno's defenses were rather decent against special attacks, which was most likely the main reason it was still standing. Once again Jonathan commanded it to use Psychic, the green aura shooting out and surrounding Hiro. The Arcanine growled, trying to stave off the attempt, and for the most part succeeded, sustaining not nearly as much damage as the attack had done last time. Hiro circled the Hypno now, refusing to break eye contact with it. Both Pokemon were showing minor signs of fatigue, although it was rather likely that Hiro wasn't letting on the full extent of his exhaustion. The next successful attack would most likely end the battle, and both trainers went through the repertoire of moves in their minds, trying to decide which would be best.

After a second Meowth found it. 'How he can find anything in here, let alone the pokeball he wants is amazing.' Meowth thought sarcastically as he tossed out the Safari Ball to reveal Apollo. The fire pony appeared in a blaze of black and white flames. Not wasting any time Meowth pointed down at Dante. "Zapdos got him and we need to take him to a hospital or something! I think there is a pokemon center somewhere near the base of Rock Tunnel." That was all that needed to be said to the Ponyta. Apollo was all ready doing his best to carefully pick Dante up and put him on his back. That wasn't easy though since he could only use his mouth. Meowth helped as best as he could but he simply wasn't tall enough to do to much. "Ah hold on." Meowth said before going to look through Dante's bag for two more pokeballs. Finally finding them, he had discovered that Dante had put the first letter of there names on the ball. He tossed them out. However despite two pokeballs being thrown out only one pokemon came out.
Bahamut came out and flew around some not quite sure what was going on. "Bahamut we need to get Dante onto Apollo's back. He is hurt and needs help." Meowth explained before bending down to pick up Kenny's pokeball. To his surprise the ball was empty.
--------
I would? Hmmm... Dante thought. He wasn't really surprised that he heard a voice. Then again in this place he doubted that you could feel much of anything.
The voice laughed slightly at Dante's response. Yes, when I felt that your mind had left the plane of the living I decided to go look for you. Pause. Normally by now you would be wondering what is going on.
If Dante had shoulders at the moment he would have shrugged them. I just can't seem to bring myself to care.
Ah, yes, that is because your body is in a coma like state right now. Your mind separated itself from your body in order to block the pain. Normally that amount of electricity going through a human body would kill it. You were lucky you were wearing that feather around your neck. It's what is keeping you alive. The voice explained.
Hmm I guess that is good thing right?
You really don’t care right now do you?
Not really. It’s nice here. I might decide to stay.

Pancake let go of Cutebone, then looked into the tunnel opening. When all of a sudden a thick purple mist fromed around her, she looked at the mist and called out "who's doing this!?!" A round purple and black with long white fangs appeared, then it said "Gastly!, it is me Garn from Pokemon tower." Pancake put a hand on her chest and let a releaved sigh, "oh it's you Garn, what do you want?" the Gastly put her face in Pancake's and said "I want to be cought by you".

Upon hearing that and looking down at her hurt trainer for once a serious look appeared on the small dragons face. Going down she latched all six of her legs down on the back of his long jacket and using all her strength she lifted him up to Apollo's back. Breathing heavily Bahamut didn't stop there and did her best to make sure he would stay on the Ponyta's back. Doing that to the best of her ability she stopped flapping her wings and sank down so she was just hovering near the ground with her Levitate ability.
Both Meowth and Apollo were surprised at Bahamuts ability to lift there trainer like that and place her on his back. They had never thought that she was capable of something like that. "Apollo, Shiva should still be at the shore. She can help you cross the river." Was all Meowth could say before the Ponyta took off his flames blazing brighter then they had ever seen them before.
It did not take Apollo long before he had reached the shore. However he did not slow down. Instead he felt the heat blaze up around him even more and his own black and white flames envelope him as he dashed out over to the water. Not stopping he continued running hooves striking the surface of the water with hard slaps as he ran faster then he had ever run before. Steam was coming up from the water around him due to the intense flames surrounding Apollo. Once over the water Apollo turned up his speed another notch and they became a grey streak tearing up the ground. Luckily the pokemon center at the base of Rock Tunnel was close by. When Apollo walked through the sliding glass doors he was no longer a small Ponyta but a powerful looking Rapidash.
-----------
That would not be a wise idea. If you stay here to long it will become harder and harder for you to return to the real world.
Why is that?
Because the more you stay here smaller the channel back to your own body will become until it disappears all together.
That would be bad wouldn't it?
Yes it would be. Especially now that you have two Legendary Pokemon watching you, it would be best not to disappoint them. They are testing you; they must want you to do something for them.
Do something for them? What could I possibly do that they cannot?
I do not know that but waking up is imperative.
Ok... How do I go about doing that then?
The voice sighed. This may take a while.
