Kaym lifted her head. "Nathanial?" No, wait... her vision cleared. It wasnt Nathanial but he looked similar. Very similar. (Nathanial's form) Feih turned to face the golden dragon. "Ho. I thought you were Nathanial for a moment as well." He quickly glanced back at Kaym. "Neh?" "What?" Kaym choked as the word came forth, a trickle of blood streamed down her chin. This thing needs to come out... Not only did it need to come out. But, how was she able to escape from the blast. Each time she tried lifting herself, more blood flooded her lungs. Her fingers tightened around the handle of the large blade. She knew what they could also be used for. As long she held both. Feih's back was still at Kaym. Did he not care about the danger.. on either side? "Ho! Mr. Dragon! You dont want to do that. This poor little lady wouldnt be able to get away from your horrid breath. His smiled stretched ear to ear. Why was he so at ease? Maybe he was thinking he was bluffing? Or maybe he knew he wouldnt kill 'the poor woman'.

Something tells me she'd sooner die herself than see you continue to plague her existence. The energy within the dragon's jaws continued to grow in brilliance and power as he stared down the man.

Unsane sat up in his bed so quickly it startled a passing girl into a squeal of surprise. The jar of water she was holding slipped out of her hands and crashed loudly on the cold floor.
My lord ...
The demon looked like he had been run over by a cement truck. His skin was almost whiter than the drapes he had been sleeping in. His eyes were darkened, small, deep in their sockets.
My lord, you are awake ...
"Yeah.."
The poor girl couldn't be older than fifteen. She had been told to nurse Unsane as well as Lazenca who was in the other bed while they were passed out. She had never expected the sickly-looking man that had been sleeping for so long to look so ... frightening. The words resonating in the air, coming from nowhere yet sounding like they were spoken softly by dozens of people at the same time were doing nothing to calm her either.
Then, it is time ...
Unsane looked outside the window. The wind seemed to have stopped, but a soft snow was still fluttering down from the gray sky. The city was covered in white. How long had they been out? He looked around the room, noticing the young girl on her knees against the wall, beads of cold sweat on her forehead. A chamber pot at his side, Lazenca still unconscious.
"Yeah, it is." He sighed and raised his right arm to look at it. This wouldn't be pretty. "You have served me well, my vassal. Accept my sacrifice and my thanks for a service well done."
It was like Unsane's arm had imploded. Long gashes caved in along the forearm, the skin splitting open to the flesh, spiraling from wrist to elbow, then crawling further up to the shoulder. Immediately, blood rivered out of the wound, staining the blankets crimson.
The young girl screamed high as she saw the demon reaching for the chamber pot. She only stopped screaming when he calmly puked in the pot, for her mind couldn't bear the sight anymore. She fell unconscious to the floor.

During the last conversation Feih had turned his back on Kaym - As Feih turned his back to the wounded yellow eyed woman, they narrowed. He dare turn his back on her? Is he not concerned? Does he not think she wouldn’t just stab him in the back? These dark thoughts ran through her head. Spinning and twirling; why this, why that? Why did she care about the surging pain in her chest? Everything she did was going to cause more suffering; breathing, blinking, extending its stay… all of which would prolong it. Ripping it out was the only thing left to do. She could feel the fierce breath on her distinguished cheek bones. She did not have much time if he were to release; she wouldn’t escape, not in her condition.
First thing, she slowed her heart rate to restrain the blood flow. If it didn’t work, well, it didn’t need to, but it may have helped for what she was about to do.
With a quick breath, her grip tightened around the blades’ handle, no pause, no more restraint. She pulled. A crack. Her eyes shot open as she ripped the rest of the steel from her rib cage, following was a loud howl.
“AHHKK!!” For just a moment her heart stopped, time stopped; her head shot up, her armed, bloody fist swung forward impaling Feih’s right calf. The blades tip pointed through his shin. He also gave a loud, pain stricken bellow.

The dragon continued to gather more energy and funnel it into the blast, however, it looked as if the problem might have solved itself with his intervention. He continued to ready for an attack, but kept an eye out incase it wasn't needed.

Kaym was not going to let anyone else kill her prey. He was hers, and she wasnt going to give anyone an inch. Her eyes locked on the dragon then back to Feih, she was going to end this one. And quick.
Feih did not fall to both knees and his crying still continued. He was, after all a man who took more pride in his looks then his fighting skill.
With the little time she gave herself on her knees, she hastly dropped the twin blade and reached her left hand over her shoulder to retrieve Vayu.
Her body followed her arm. With her arm swinging back, she had no balance, her knee leaned and she fell to her right hip and thigh, leaving her left leg bent and her foot on the ground, enough to hold her up straight. She will hit! It wouldnt be strong, due to no time but it will shoot.
Heat quickly swelled around the tip of her long blade, the blade itself, with her left arm swung down, now erect, it could almost touch Feih's turning head's chin. His eyes met with the sword's red tip and like a hand gun, it shot. Exiting his skull at point blank range. His body flung back as quick as hers. The blast was small but it packed enough umph to knock Kaym's arm and body straight back. And with that, her back crashed into the sand.

The dragon quickly dispelled the energy blast, and with a flash of light, transformed into a human form, complete with sword, white coat, and armored boots. He quickly rushed over to the young woman and attempted to heal her, as soft yellowy-white glow coming from his hands as he passed them over her battered and broken form...
Hold on there, Miss... It's gonna be ok...

Kaym's eyes were partially open, black long lashes slowly blinked as she watched the dragon's form dewindle into a man in white.
She was beginning to feel the affects from the lost blood. Her vision allowed her to see a blurry figure run to her and then a bright warm yellow glow appeared just out of her sight.
She heard his muffled voice. she could not understand it.
"Is he dead?" The question came slow, but clear. She had already known the answer to her question. Maybe she just wanted reasurrance?

Thats a pretty big hole through his head... I'm pretty sure he's dead...
The light would fade after a few minutes, and though she'd still be sore, the damage had been repaired.

Kaym could immediately feel the difference, the numb sensation in her chest hadnt subsided, but cold impression had vanished. Ryugi Kazamaru Thats a pretty big hole through his head... I'm pretty sure he's dead... Kaym did not smile at his response. Im sure she was overjoyed to hear it was over. But with the way things roll, Caster would be the next one to pay her a visit. Feih wasn't much of a threat, she had just been careless. That was also brought into perspective. What was wrong with her? Or rather, what is still wrong? She felt different, not as aware, or bitter; she felt distracted from something, but what? Was it just the fact that the barrier was there? Could that be the reason?
Overhead, she saw the barrier beginning to dissipate and finally she was able to see clearly. she rolled her head to side, not so much giving a pleasant greeting, but to give acknowledgment that if he hadnt been there, she would have been in a world of hurt, especially her side.
"Thank you." Strands of hair fell over her face and rested on her nose.
I wonder if I could stand?
She acted on the thought, steadily bringing her left arm down to her side, sword still in hand, she pulled up on her wrist in order to get a good idea on how much she could move. She moved, but only a little bit. Her chest rose and her head looked down at her battered cloths.
Her eye brow lifted, "Well, so much for these." A smile appeared ear to ear. She was amused at the fact that she didnt enjoy them very much as it were. At least not she had a valid excuse as to why cant wear them anymore. xd She managed to pull her left side to her elbow and glimps around the area. Thank goodness no one was involved.

You're welcome Miss. I couldn't let someone simply get killed now, could I?
The young man smiled brightly and helped the young woman up onto her feet.
Careful there, don't move to fast. I've healed you, but you'll still be a little sore and stiff...

"Careful there, don't move to fast. I've healed you, but you'll still be a little sore and stiff..."She graciously took his hand while assisting herself as well. Standing was the easy part, and as she did so, her hand caressed the once damaged skin. She wasnt feeling for a flaw, just admiring the work.
"Nice job. That would have taken me three or four days." She was trying to pull some humor into the situation.
The wounds were completely closed, but her cloths were still drentched in crimson red. Her pants werent ripped too badly, but they werent salvageable, due to the blood, her shirt was a different story.

I've been healing wounds for a long time... After a while you get used to it.
...So. Let's find you a change of outfit, eh?
The young man smiled. he was more concerned with getting her ship shape than telling her his name. At least for the moment anyway.

Kaym looked down at her outfit again.
"I suppose you are right." She replied, lifting her large sword over her shoulder and as she did so, she could feel a tight pulling sensation. Returning Vayu was proving to be more difficult then routine.
"I fair to warn you. If you stay around me, your life may be endangered." Her yellow eyes were stern, but her warning wasnt meant to be harsh, nor to make him believe she was douting his strength, she was just giving notice.

That doesn't trouble me in the least Miss. I've had many an enemy in my life, a few more while associating with a new friend wouldn't hurt.
He smiled, his red eyes full of kindness, as a small chuckle came from him. He'd been around the block a few times in his lifetime, so chances were he'd be fine.
