"There's one over the fire...the water should be boiling by now." He looked at the cup curiously, wondering why he mixed the teas. He was, however, pleased to see the eagerness in his eyes, rather than the dull boredom that seemed to constantly occupy them.

Walking over, Sol picked up the scalding pot with his bare hand and carried it over to the tea cup. Putting half the leaves from his cup into another one, he poured the boiling water over them, a surpisingly delicious smell rising from the mixed blend as he put the pot back over the fire. One cup was placed in front of jerome while Sol placed the other one in front of himself, once again inhaling the scent of the steeping tea, his eyes glowing, the internal light making them sparkle like the finest of cut sapphires.

Jerome dove to stop Sol from picking the kettle up, but when he didn't drop it and scream in pain the priest held back and watched him. He closed his eyes and sniffed the tea deeply, letting a throaty sigh of pleasure escape his lips.
"You're bloody amazing, Sol...how did you know what to do?" he asked, his eyes still closed and breathing the enticing aroma in.

A strange shiver passed over Sol when he heard Jerome sigh like that but quickly shook it off, telling himself it was just getting on time to start thinking about where to find his next meal. Taking a seat, a pleased smile came to his face are the priests compliment. "My br--Uncle and our--my mother love tea." Pain flashed through his eyes and face, dimming his smile a bit, making his voice unconcisouly go softer. "My mom especially, she taught us how to see what teas would be good combined by smell alone..."

He stared into his cup, and for a second, it appeared he would cry but it passed quickly, replaced with a steely resolve. The corners of his mouth turned up in what could only be a determined smile as he lifted his cup to his mouth and took a sip. "Hmmm...3 more minutes."

The priest furrowed his brow at Sol's odd stumbling, but let it slide, it was obviously not something he really wanted to talk about. He worried over the young demon a bit, but said nothing, wanting to take Sol's mind off of such matters.
"I'm surprised you couldn't tell that by the color," He remarked after Sol had taken a sip from his mug.

"Normally that is the way, but a lot of tea i grew up drinking wouldn't change color so we went by taste." A far away look came breifly to his face. "The teas Swan made were..." here he gave a light, breathy sigh, a rapturous smile appearing as he unconciously licked his lips at the remembered taste.

"What do you mean they wouldn't change color? Did the water just remain clear?" Jerome teased softly, his eyes lingering on Sol's lips and the tongue carressing them. He caught himself and stared down at his tea, confused.

(naughty naughty jerome. ^^;;; )

Playfully, Sol stuck his tongue out at the priest, then turned thoughtful. "There actualyy were some teas that had no color at all yes. Most were mediocre, but one was...ambrosial." He gave a low "mmmmm", the sound reminiscent of a soft moan of pleasure. "I am deeply regretting not taking more tea to bring with us. I think you would enjoy it greatly, pirest."

Jerome blushed a pale shade of pink, just enough to be noticable if one were actually looking for it when Sol moaned. "Do you really think so? I mean, I'm sure I would, I haven't found very many teas I don't like," he said, trying to sound casual, but ending up sounding slightly flustered and confused, his accent poking further through his words.

"This tea is a whole new experience. In fact..." The young incubus paused breifly, wondering at the blush on Jeromes face. "I beleive i do have a few spare bags. After we finish our current servings, I'll prepare some if you would like." he offered with another smile.

"I think I would like that very much," the priest said, the blush draining from his cheeks. "Are you sure, though? If you don't have very much, I wouldn't want to deplete your stock any..." He drew a small sugarbowl to him and spooned in a small amount before offering it to Sol, though he suspected the demon wouldn't want any.

As suspected, Sol politely shook his head. "No thank you. I prefer my tea as is." He took a sip to illustrate his point and smiled. "MY stock will not be depleted...RIO'S however..." his voice trailed off as he gave Jerome an impudent grin. "It's the least he owes you after all the commotion he has caused."

"Hm? Oh, nothing really. Rio is angry with me now." He smiled and shrugged. "Kind of a lazy day, isn't it?"
He grinned. "Well, that's nothing new, is it? He seems to anger pretty easily. Give him time and it'll pass, right?" He looked around them. "Yeah..." he yawned. "I was almost asleep up there..."

"Yeah, I hope so..." He fell silent for a moment, wondering why he cared. I mean, it was fun at first, just because Rio was so hard-headed and he could actually get through somewhere. But why did he care? "Oh, whatever..." He muttered to himself and turned back to Saiki with a smile. "So, find anything interesting to do? I mean, I'm bored as all hell."
"Nothing much." He smiled. "Just kinda dozing and being lazy..." He took out his small sketch pad and pencil. "And this."

"Yes, well, that's always amusing." He smiled and took a look at the pad. "You must draw often."

(No, you didn't capitalize that pronoun XD.)

The priest nodded and put the sugar bowl back. He watched Sol from the corner of his eye, whondering why he was so...intriguing to him while he got cream. He offered this as well, but again expected it to be refused.
"Rio hasn't caused that much trouble. A little excitement isn't particularly bad."

Again, he guessed correctly as Sol once more politely declined as he took another drink, is tongue flicking out to lick a drop of liquid that fell on his lips. "Do not let Rio hear you say that." he said with a soft laugh. "He might try to cause some actual trouble."

"Uh-huh." He smiled. "Used to drive my little sister crazy. She'd watch me and try to get my attention to something else, but it was too easy to ignore her because I was so consentrated..." He grinned. "She was a little trouble maker, Yuka-chan."

(In that order?)

Jerome found his eyes lingering on the drop of liquid and the tongue that caught it. He shook his head gently, not understanding himself or why his eyes kept wandering to Sol's lips. It was, however, rather aggravating, the way he kept getting distracted like that.
"I was not planning on letting him know...not that I would get the chance," he shrugged, not really paying attention to what he was saying. He stared at his teacup, trying to keep himself from staring at the incubus across from him.
