"I see.. Welp, that's something for another time, I s'pose," he said, ruffling his permanently messy hair and looking up at the sky for a moment before he returned his attention to Zai. "What can you teach me right now?" he asked, sounding just a tiny bit over-eager.

"hmmmm," he looked into the boy's eyes for a moment. "Most of which I'll teach you must be taught further up the mountain, but," he narrowed his eyes, "But first you need to learn about ice shaman in general."

Zai nooded sighlently before speaking. "As you probably guesed and know Ice shaman can control spirits of ice, due to this we can also control ice." He looked at the boy. "But that is not all we can do. Ice itself is made up of another element, so technically we should be able to control the element it is made of, well at least to some extent."

Ang nodded attentively, taking in what the older shaman was saying. "So that means we should be able to control spirits of water, too? But, like you said, to a lesser extent than ice ones, right?"

"Correct," Zai nodded. "Watter is a lot harder to control, and not all ice shaman are able to learn how to, mainly due to themselves being impatient." He ezplained. "Ice is frozen water, because it is frozzen technically it cant move like water. Its this difference that most ice shaman cant get a hold of, but then even for the ones that are able to learn how control water and its spirits it dosnt always work."

Angelino winced at the word 'impatient'. That was him summed up in one word. "That sounds like it'd be interesting to look into but I suppose I'll have to master controlling ice and ice spirits first, won't I? And, out of curiosity, can you control water spirits Master Zai?"

Zai nodded "Yes Ice and its spirits are the first you must master." he paused at his 2nd question. "I can, but like I said before it dosnt always work, or at least in the way you want it to."

"Yeah. I figured that much. I was just wondering if you could, that's all." He stopped and smiled then, after a moment, added, "Anyway, how should I go about learning to control ice and ice spirits? I'm sure Albin will help me along the way but you should probably give me a push to get me started."
(( Oh man, I'm fading fast. *peers blearily at the clock* I haven't gone to bed yet. I blame my hubby to be. He kept me up. xp Anyways, I think I'm gonna go ahead and take off, okie? ))

Zai nodded again. "Its not easy when your first learning. The main thing is just trying to manipulate ice, to do this you have to get the the spirits to help you, with what i learned they are more likely to help if you ask instead of demanding though."

Angie chuckled. "Oh, I know that. And believe me, I won't go around demanding that the spirits help me. Albin would make me pay somehow. I don't know what exactly he'd do but that just makes me more inclined not to find out."

"See what I mean?" Angie whispered behind his hand to Zai, his sea green eyes flicking from left to right, searching out the spirit.
I heard that, Albin muttered, appearing right next to Angelino with his little snowman arms crossed.
Ang jumped slightly but, other than that, gave no other sign he had noticed the spirit. Instead, he turned his full attention on Zai and asked, "Is there some kind of trick for dealing with unruly spirits you could teach me, Master Zai?"

Malissa watched from behind a few trees nearby. She had heard teh shamans talking as she was wandering the mountain, living not to far from here in a log cabin with her Carer. It wasn't too cold for Kay and wasn't too warm for Malissa, so it was fine.
She was evesdropping, having barely seen another shaman, let alone ice ones... and they were male. Not that it made any difference, but she'd heard a lot about younger boys and wasn't a big fan of them from what she had heard. But they seemed older.. so maybe they grow out of it?
It was still an interesting convosation to listen to. From this info she had gotten she had worked out she was an ice shaman herself, being more comfortable higher up the mountains. She was also quite comroftable being mainly in a bikini in this weather.
She also found when she pulled a tantrum Kay would be pummuled by snowballs without her even making one with her own hands.. that had been interesting, though she hadn't mangaed to replicate that effect..
