*one by one, Shunketsu's clones got closer, dodging as many tendrils as they can, getting as close as they can before getting hit...*
*one by one, as Shunketsu's clones were, hit, they exploded, causing, well...damage I guess to the shadow tendrils...1 gone, 2 gone, 3 gone...eventually one clone was left running, and had gotten close enough to have the man in its blast radius...it took one final dive at the man, was struck by the tendril, and exploded, enveloping the man and his shadows in flames...*
*Shunketsu was starting to breathe heavy...he was losing a good amount of chakra from keeping his clones active for so long...and he still needed to preserve some chakra for later...*

Tomasu watched his needles melt, and looked up at Shunketsu.
Great Idea
He jumped and landed right beside Shunketsu. "Mizu bunshin no jutsu!
My chakra is still almost full Shunketsu, ill take over the clones."
They each rushed in the same way Shunketsu's had, and exploded into gteat masses of water and ice instead of fire.

Shabang began to think what he could do and decidedro do some hand seals and preformed Kawarimi no Jutsu and rushed upon the man. When ever they got hit and their clone form vanished it revealed an exploding note, which exploded.

Shaban hurried over to his comrad who fainted, and got her out of danger.
I wish I could help more, but I don't know any healing jutsus Shabang thought to himself as he stood gaurd to make sure she was kept safe.

::the shadows began to remass around the group, but the man stayed sealed in his own darkness, a darkness different from the shadows he commanded. It seemed to feed off of his chakra but the control didn't seem to belong to him, instead it acted as its own being::
::the stairs that had risen out of the fissure now remained up guarded, but not for long as the shadows that were not caught in the actions of the three nins began to circle::

Shabang lifted Shiko over his shoulder and made a break for the stairs.
I can do this, I know I can Shabang thought the entire way.

::some of the shadows turned as shabang darted past, but were obliterated as Aiko let out the shockwave scream again, helping to clear the way for Shabang and his unconcious pacxkage, Shiko::

"Keep going! Try to find out where the stairs go, I will help Shiko."
::She went to Shiko and preformed the proper hand seals and then used some of Shiko's sand to bandage her wounds. That was all that she could do while she was keeping the barrier up. Then she ran with Aiko after Shabang.::

Shabang ran at top speed and finally reached the stairs, he looked back to check on the others, but then continued to run. Why am I running, I have more energy then any of them!

Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu *Shunketsu blew a fireball at the shadows, creating as much of a window as possible for them to get to the stairs...*
