Echosong leapt over a narrow strip of the river. She scented the air.
Moonstar!
Echosong dropped to a crouch, flattening her ears. Carefuly she crept along the damp forest floor. Waterclan hung heavy with the scent of blood and fear, yet triumph.
There must've been a battle!
As she came closer to their camp Moonstar's scent grew stronger.
Echosong broke through the foilige and into a small clearing. It was bathed in silver moonlight. On the edge of the clearing she recognized the familar pelt of Moonstar.
...Just wondering how I ever lived without you[ ] ((It's the gathering, so I'll post in there and then when it's over we'll pretend that this happens afterward, ok? then we'll continue it.))

Nightpaws ears standup at the mention of the gathering! She sees her mentor and runs up to her!

Tearstorm lays in the clearing, upset that she is still too injured to go to the gathering.
