So, I just got the battle force for the tyranids and I have a question about adrenal glands. How are you supposed to put them on their backs?
When ever I do, the have a huge gap below them and they look stupid.
Oh, on gaunts and warriors.

you dont have to...you can have them but you dont have to show them!
thats whats cool about nids!
things can hide inside them!

If you're talking about those glands, they're actually external.

You glue them to the tyranids' backs, like you can see here: -link-

Yes but it looks stupied having is like that so you just say that they are inside of the tyranid instead of outside. If you playing with friends I don't think they will care but you will probably have to have them on if you play at a gamesworkshop store.

acctualy the only things they care about are the weapons for GW tournaments biomorphs they treat like powers they dont care if they are on the model as long as they are clearly stated on the army list

Not the Head Office GT that I go to each year. As the biomorph can make such a difference to the abilities of the model they are counted as weapons for the purposes of a player determining if to shoot at a certain unit. Then again it is a little hard to enforce.

the zilla armies are cool but fail alot. the enemy can kill 2/3 of your army in ranged combat before you get to close. somtimes it works sometimes it dosent. if your a man of odds and risks go for it otherwise the horde approch with one or two carnifex is the way to go.

what army do you use? because I hear a lot about the shooty zilla nid army a lot.

I guess you don't want to go to any tournaments (something every player should attempt to do at least once. RTTs are great). And not one tournament can say my carnifex doesn't have a tusked/regenerating/acid maw head. I made sure of that.

These guys our one of my favorites. They have alot of units, alot of upgrades, great close combat, and cool guns. Not to mention they are fun to assemble and paint. Whats not to like?

I'd have to say that an IG armored company would be the MOST expensive since it's mostly tanks. but you shouldn't be collecting a 40k army based on price, you'll just end up with a shitty force that was mabye (at most) only $100-150 cheaper
