MHHornfreak That's pretty cool i've never played onemyself. This guy at the university of Washington had a Contra Bass and played it at his recital. I wanna play a Bass or lower! contra bass?! dear god.... it musta been huge!!!
i couldnt get a sound out of the bass for like, 15 minutes O_O then my tube friend came over, blew into it once and got a sound out..... lol. i got so mad that i just blew into it not caring about my embouchure at all and it finally made noise ^_^* trying to play a bass like an alto is not a good idea....lol. it made my whole body vibrate when i played it o__O

Even though i play bari right now, i like tenor the best. I'm going to try to play it next year in band, because i dont really want to play bari all that much. I dont know why, but i guess i just like tenor more. Its probably because i played the tenor for so long, i grew attached to it.

Well theoretically if you can get certain overtones then you have a range that exceeds tenor or alto.
