Jen nodded. "Jess, stay here. I'll be right back." She told the young girl and walked out of the room with Dan. "What's up?" She asked him, heaving a sigh.

"What the hell do you mean she's going to be a member of the Dicio Coven?" he asked her. "She's what 9, 10 years old. There's no way i'm gonna be able to protect her by myself." he replied.

"She doesn't need protecting. She's more powerful then Jen was, em, I was. Trust me. She'll do fine." She told him, seriously. She mentally cursed at herself for slipping up.

"You're slipping." he told Jen. "You know better then anyone that I can't protect anyone." he said as he looked away. "I couldn't protect you and it isn't a good idea for this child to be here." he replied. "You know it too." he replied.

Jon, flabbergasted by the whole situation, decided to let it go, and ended up playing with Jessica while Dan and Jen talked.

"There is no equation. Jess is my 2nd cousin through marraige. Her line is nearly as long as the Halliwells'. It's one generation less. She's the third. It's Matt, you, and Jess." She explained, rolling her eyes.

Jon couldnt help but overhear Jen and Dan's conversation. He excused himself from Jessica for a moment, and walked over to where they were. "I've got to go with Dan. Somehow that just doesn't seem likely. If the prophecy is correct, it should be from your line."
((It doesn't matter to me whether she is or not, I just felt my character wouldn't think so.))

"No, you just don't want me to go." She told Dan. "Look, I'm positive she's in the coven." She told Dan. "Will you just trust me?" She asked him, getting a bit flustered.
Jess looked just like Jen, just like her mother. She looked over at Jen. "Mommy, what are they talking about?" She asked her.

Jen smacked her own head with her hand. "Jess." She muttered. "Yea, suprise." Jen muttered, picking up her daughter. "This is my daughter. She came back from the future. She's 3 in this time." Jen managed, sighing. "We were doing the grown up talk thing." She added to Jess. She wasn't going to get into the story.
"Sorry, I know I wasn't supposed to say anything." She added, in a small voice.

Dan looked at her and was at a loss for words. He then looked down because he remembered that Jen was pregnant with his daughter.
