[[Day 2 training]]

Roy walked into the platue again. To be honest, he liked it out here because on a usual day, it was pretty quite, or at least it was spaced enough so that he wouldn't know that there was anyone else around. But today wasn't one of those days. When he walked in, he saw Nav and Gig having a battle. And over in the distance, he was almost sure he had seen someone walking off behind a rock. He scratched his head a bit adn looked, "So much for peace and quite today..." He thought to himself. He still had to find someplace quite where he could focus. Yesterday, he had made quite the little achievement as far as brainstorming went. Doing his own research, he had started to gain an understanding of chakra on a more miniscual level. He was working toward something big, he knew that much but it was still a ways off.

Looking toward Nav and Gig, he couldn't help but speak something out to 'encourage' the lovely couple, "Oy! Ane-sama! Don't bring home any babies! Specially if they look like Gig!" He burst into laughter as he walked off away from the fight. He had a pretty good feeling that neither one of them would risk giving the other a free hit just to smack him. He knew they'd find him later though.

As he walked, he passed by Rai and Kei as they were talking. That was another cute couple dispite what they had told him. Most people thought him young and stupid or at least naive. He wasn't the most up to date on things of the adult world but he had a far better grasp than most kids his age. He looked to them as he heard their conversation. The only real reason he stopped was because he heard his name. Listening, he heard Rai's remark about him grabbing things he shouldn't and he spoke out from behind them, "Ahh you're just mad that no one wants to grab on you Rai." He said while walking off.

He didn't really feel ike sticking around for too much today. He soon realized that if he wanted true silence, he should have left them alone but that wouldn't be very much like him, now would it. He figured he'd just take the pains as they came.

Soon enough, Roy came to a quiet little circle of rocks. It looked like it was someones training area a while ago but not no one had used it in a while. Many of the rocks were worn and chipped away. He looked around a set his bag down near a comfortable enough spot. He sat down for a moment and began to check his chakra flow for the day.

His chakra was in perfect control or rather he was in perfect control of his chakra. Having got that out of the way, he sat back for a moment and took out his notes. While at home the day before, he did a bit of thinking on different ways his chakra could be used. He thought of maybe creating a chakra blade or some sort of weapon using the chakra. But he realized he would need far mroe control over his chakra in order to infuse his chakra into an object and make a weapon out of it. Besides, a close range weapon wasn't his style. He liked swords and weapons like that but they weren't his deal. His mother might like them though.

He then went on to think of the applications to perform different things inside the human body. But again, he came to the same conclusion that working on the inside would be far more difficult. That would mean counteracting the persons internal chakra network and making that kind of change overall would mean far more physical contact than he was willing to perform. Easily, small alterations to an opposing chakra network are easy. Things such as blocks, accelerations, slowing, things like that were easy enough but actual control of an opposing chakra network was far beyond his ability.

However, what about the forces of inanimate/inorganic objects. What would happen witht hose. As far as he knew, they were without any form of chakra network but had their own force. What would happen if he applied his own force to the inside of it. He knew he might be trying tomsthing like this and so he took a bunch of balls from home to use. They were rubber tennis balls that fit well in his hand. He looked at it for a moment and sat back. He began to remember the process of chakra pumping he used for the Invisibility skill and began to try that again, pushing his chakra into the ball.

[[hold than burst+1]]

He began to push his chakra into the item. He felt it flowing smoothly from his body into the ball and moving about the inside of it. He wasn't exactly sure what to do with it after that but he knew he had done something good. He found that holding this chakra within the ball was a bit hard but it was something he could do. For now, he was simply trying to get a feel for placing the chakra within the ball before he got to antsy and tried anything else. Besides, he had to get a feel for this or else he'd never truely understand or be able to figure out how to use this concept to any kind of gain. As he was sitting there realizing this though, the ball burst. It burst into small chunks and dust and flew everywhere. He closed his eyes and sighed. He wasn't surprised by this behavior. He was just happy that he got it to hold for a moment.

He picked up another ball from his bag and began to attempt it again.

Roy began to pump his chakra into the rock, or at least he attempted too. He was moving his chakra just fine but he wasn't really keeping a good grip upon the ball. As he continued to try and push the chakra into it, the ball simply fell from his hand and bounced upon the ground a few times. He hadn't pushed the chakra into the item but rather around it, it wasn't a good attempt. This was more how he expected things to go for the first few tries. He realized he'd get better but for now, it was something he had to do. He picked up the ball again and began to try it again.

Fail+2]]

He picked back up the ball and looked to it. He moved his chakra into the ball while keeping a tight grip upon it. He felt the chakra moving from his hand into the ball. To make sure he put his all into it, he held the ball with both hands and soon felt the ball being filled. He began to pump both hands full of chakra and pushed it in but that was too much for it. The ball exploded within his hand into a flow of dust and debris. His hands sheilded him from most of it. He sighed a bit and looked to the rubble on the ground.

This wasn't a setback, just learning. He picked again from his bag and tossed it a bit in his hand. Placing the ball in his right hand firmly, he attempted agian.

[[H/B +1
Fail+3]]

Holding the ball within his hand, he looked to it for a long moment. It wasn't going exactly the way he wnated it too. He felt the chakra moving into the ball but it wasn't doing anything. He didn't feel it like he did the first time...he didn't feel the chakra all the way. He knew his chakra was moving into the ball but it wasn't moving the way he wanted it to move. It wasn't taking the form he wanted it to take. The chakra moved but it was a slow process inside it. Again he raised his other hand and applied it to the top of the ball to hold it but the same result occured. The ball exploded within his hand and scattered about into dust. This was the second time this happened. It was getting to him a slight bit but he knew he just needed to focus and think.

He looked at the ball like a small sphere of water and thought about the chakra as currents. He saw the chakra moving into the ball. He pictured the chakra within his hand under the bottom moving into the ball and placing the water inside at a spin. He then began to try and picture the chakra in his top hand moving the water.

[[understanding success

Fail+3]]

Roy looked to the ball with a sudden thought of understanding. The chakra from the top hand was moving in at a different direction but the same speed. Due to his hand being turned the opposite direction (top spinning down conpared to bottom spinning up) the two currents collided and the impact created the burst. He finally got that part of the problem and realized he needed to watch the chakra flow if he was to do it again. He decided to try and use a different aproach if his single hand wasn't enough for the chakra flow this time.

Reaching into the bag again, hep ulled out another ball from the bag and attempted to use it again.

[[H/B +1
Fail +4]]

Once again, the ball was no match for the overforce of chakra being dumped into it. The ball simply found itself filled with more chakra than needed. Roy noticed the ball taking a strange shape and shortly burst into shards moreso than dust like before. This was getting a bit bothersome but he realized that this was good tests for different consistancy's. He realized that the ball was simply one form of resistance. An item with a thicker skin would be able to take much more than this. He looked it over for a moment or at least at it's peaces and sighed a bit. Looking over to the bag, he pulled out anotehr ball. Today, he would finish using his tennis balls but tommarow, he'd probably use something harder or heavy and then use something ligther and thinner. He would get use to the different consistanceys and see what worked best. But as for now, he took out another ball and attmpted the chakra pour again.

[[H/B +1
Fail +5]]

This was something a bit different this time. Roy had a pretty firm grip upon the ball. This wasn't a problem. But there was simply a bit too much for the ball to handle. This time, the ball didn't explode, it simply fired off into the sky shooting right out of his hand. It sailed into the sky and ROy watched it fly. It was kinda fun to see it but at the same time it was a little wonderous. His chakra wasn't going directly into the ball like he wanted it too, some of it was flowing along the outside of hte ball and due to his tight hold upon the ball, it treated it like a compression rocket and fired it off out of his hand when enough built up. He had to remember that for later. The ball sailed out of sight and he simply sighed a bit. Moving his hand into the bag again, anotehr ball was withdrawn and he began again.

[[Day 2 complete]]

He found this ball to be must like the others. He made sure to hold it tightly this time, much more tightly thant he last ball as he pushed his chakra into it. However, there was probably a good deal more pressure upon the ball and he found this to be to his downfall. Instead of pushing the chakra more into the ball, it burst quickly and he felt his hand sink inot the ball. Sighing deeply, he let the ball's remains hit the ground.

Looking down to the remains as they hit the ground, he only grumbled. This was almost too much for him in one time. ALl these failures but at least he learned something. He was finished with this for today...sides, he was out of balls.

Kei looked off to the side remembering the last time Roy did that..."Yeah...he would...and then he'd get his gut kicked in..." Touching her lip slightly she continued off these memories and imahined herself beating him up more than what she had done in the first place..."But...he did say he'd turn down his pervyness while he was around me...he doesn't want another accident hppening."

"Another Acciddent? He did it to someone else before? Man I'm Behind quite a bit aren't I?" states Rai as He turns around away from Kei, thinking a little. He looks over In Navalies Direction and smiles at her, thinking of whether or not she enjoyed their Date.

She looked at him and watched where the direction of his eyes went. "What are you thinking about, Rai?"

Navalie just giggled and watched as gig prepared to battle. She listened in and she looked around. "So I guess you want me to begin?! Even if that was the case, Lets get this battle started!" and with that said she fixed her Iwakagure headband that was on her waist and she took a deep breath and she pushed chakra into her entire body and she softly said "Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu!" and she grinned hoping it would work. Meanwhile when she noticed Rai walk by she just smiled.

Roy came moving through the platue. He sighed a bit as he had destroyed so many balls during his previous training. This time, he wanted to try something a bit different. He was trying to figure out the differences in the strength of items. Different durabilities meant more chakra placed in or having to place it in at a differnt rate. After all, take a ballon for instance. If you filla ballon with air and then place your hands around it and try to make it pop by pressing on it, the area of the ballon and durability of it will cause this to be a very hard process. While not imposible, it will take quite a good little while to pop a ballon in this manner. However, if you take the same ballon and place a single point of pressure to it's surface, it will break in an instant. This change in applied forces change the needed force. Of course, this translated to a need for more reasearch on Roy's part. Yesterday, he had done research on realativly easily broken tennis balls. Today, he was moving to slightly higher durability items, water filled ballons. He sat atop a boulder overlooking Nav and Gig's fight. The first thing he wanted to do was check his chakra.
