Kei was shocked as he got up. "What are you doing! You need to get to the hospital, not go after him! What about your sisters...? Do you honestly think they'll want their brother to die by chasing that idiot? Please... at least let me help..." She already had kunai at hand. " I can move better... I'll track him down and stall him..."

Kei growled as she knelt by him. Rai you idiot! You better not die... I couldn't live with myself if you did... Taking a deep breath she lifted him. She was trying to be as gentle as possible... but she was too small. Getting him on her back, his blood was running all over Kinami's dress. Kei would pay her for it later... Thinking of the now and future she ran as fast as she could to get Rai to the hospital.

Sanaki took the apron, but at Ryoko's statement, her eyes widened and she shook her head side to side very fast.
"Eh?!! No way! He's just a little kid!" she sputtered, there was no way she actually like Roy.... right? A light blush adorned Sanaki's features. To dictract herself, she released her jutsu so her tail dissapeared and her wolf ears reverted back to human ears. She couldnt help but shake her head a bit. After being in the first stage for so long, it felt weird to have normal human features, and her excellent hearing and smell were now regular.
She smiled a bit and gave Ryoko a smile. "Dont want to get hair in the meal after all," she laughed at her lame joke. She just wanted to get off the previous topic. She was kind of disapointed that she could no longer hear Roy shuffling in the other room, or sense his almost calming scent.
She quickly stopped her train of thoughts.

Ryoko searched the girls face as she shifted through the transformation and something pleasent ran through her mind. She knew the girl was probably lieing but with no full on proof, she wouldn't force the girl into anything...now. She'd wait for a far more oppertune moments and then strike.
She moved over to the oven and pulled out a ham that was fully glazed and was looking absolutly mouth watering. She had a few other concotions in the work but they were at the early stages sicne the ham took the longest. She began to look tot he girl and pointed to a pot, "Why don't you wok on that. Just put a bit of seasoning in it. You do know how to cook right?" Ryoko looked to the girl for a moment and then searched hre face again...she was looking for something...something...she then looked back down to the ham, "So what kind of guy..."she paused and grinned, "...or girl do you like?"

Sanaki scratched the back of her head in embarressment from the two questions. She could answer the first one, but would have to think about the second.
"To be honest, I dont really know how to cook," she let out a small laugh. "If we catch something we either eat it right there, or we give to the clan cooks for the whole family," she spoke the truth. Many times she hadnt caught anything for a long time, so she ended up eating her food raw right when she caught it. Every now and then a whole bunch of the wolf members would go out in packs and bring down something bigger for everyone, like a deer.
"What kind of person do I like?" she asked herself. She hummed as she thought about it. "I don't know. I don't have much time to think about such things. It used to be; get up, train, hunt, train, and then fall fast asleep. I was so exhausted at the end of each day I never had much thinking time. And besides, the only person I am around a lot is my sensei, who has a boyfriend. So I'm afraid I cant answer you're question," after the long explanation, Sanaki scratched the back of her head. Of course she didnt find it weird that she hadnt ever liked someone, being her age and all, but she didnt know any better.

Ryoko looked to Sanaki for a long moment. She was looking for something then then finally found it. It was a huge sigh of annoyance...not at Sanaki, just at the situatin the girl had grown up in. It was so strange to hear the girl speak of such brutal training and such a limited lifestyle. The girl was 17 and hadn't even lived any. Sure she was part wolf but she was also part human. Was her clan so resistant to the day and age that they would keep forcing such a warped way of thinking on their youth. Ryoko looked to Sanaki for a moment and turned the food down so it would take longer to cook. She wanted to speak with Sanaki for a moment, woman to inexperienced girl.
"Sanaki...may I ask you a bit about your life? I appologize if any of these questions seem rude or improper but...thats just my nature. First off...are there many females in your den? I ask because you seem...well...you seem a lot like me. I grew up in an all male household. My mother died a while after I was born and my father raised me the best he could. But, being a guy himself and having raised 3 boys prior, he did a crappy job at making me a proper young lady and...well, you don't seem much like a proper young lady either, even by wolf standards. Don't get me wrong, thats not bad...its just...well...I don't know. At any rate, my next question feeds off the previous one, if you've never really had time to think of your likes and dislikes in a mate, how will you chose one? I assume that eventually, you'll have some of the guys in your den coming after yoru goodies so how'll you choose one? Dammit...I'm assuming that you guys are just like wolves...but your still human..." she took a breat and then a swig of the sake. She needed it.
She looked to Sanaki again for a moment and passed the girl a saucer filled with sake. Normally she wouldn't let minors drink but this girl seemed like she needed one. "Here, drink up. You've earned it with a life like yours..."

Sanaki eyed the saucer with curiosity. She had heard so much about the liquid, in fact, her sensei regularly had the stuff. She knew that it wasnt for minors like her, her sensei had regularly scolded her whenever she tried to take a sip.
"Eto.. I never really thought about it. I guess I just assumed I would know when it was that guy, the one I wanted to have as a mate," she grinned sheepishly. Now that she thought about it, she felt kind of silly for never questioning the way she was brought up, or the way she didnt really think things through. "Most of the older females look after the pups and the girls that are brought up to take over there place. When I was little I wasn't really the... alpha female. The elders saw some potential in me in our group training sessions however, so I was sent to one on one training. So before you... I dont think I've have a decent conversation with a female in...." she counted off her fingers. Sure there were breif conversations around the table, but she often ended up goofing off wih the other younger males or the kids. "10 years maybe?" she let out a laugh. The only reason she hadnt questioned it, she reasoned, was because she didnt know what she was missing.
She took the saucer and sniffed it. Even though her wolf senses were gone, the smell was still quite strong. She shrugged and gulped down the liquid in one go. The taste was something she had never experienced before. She scrunched up her face a bit, but then the warming buzz of the alcohol kicked in. She let out a goofy grin. "Maa... I don't think I've thought this much in.. ages... man our clan sucks."

Ryoko looked to the girl...10 years...good heavens this was a bit more off than she thought. She looked away for a moment and began to think but soon saw Sanaki pick up the saucer and gulp it down in one shot, "NO WAIT!! Oh...ooh boy...I should have warned you. This is the hard stuff...your suppose to sip it, not gulp it down." Ryoko sighed a bit scratching her head and thought that her warning should have come with the passing of the drink, not after.
The soft laugh made Ryoko a little unnerved...this girl couldn't possibly be drunk after one saucer...could she? She'd heard of people having really low tolerances but...this was unreal. The alchol hadn't even had time to hit her stomach properly and she was already showing signs. Then the part about her caand made Ryoko question even more."W...wait. Your clan doesn't suck dear. Its just that...well...if you plan on visiting the world outside yoru den more often...you might find it harder to cope with things outhere if you have a limited knowledge. You understand?"

Sanaki let out a small giggle. She wasn't drunk, she was just on a slight buzz. She let out her usual crooked grin and shrugged. "And I have a feeling I have a lot to catch up on," she said, a hint of sadness showing in her voice. She looked down for a moment, but quickly put on another smile and matched Ryo's gaze.
"Maa... I was thinking of becoming a nin.. just like Roy," she breifly knew Roy was in training. The more she learned about this 'outside world', the more she wanted to be more a part of it. "I'm sure the leaders will be against it, but sensei would be all for it and fight for me, knowing him," she was smiling, and it was almost a straight, pretty smile. It was a genuine smile. "What do you think, Ryoko-san?"

Ryoko smiled. She was just happy the girl wasn't completly gone on booze. She nodded ehr approval to the girl and poured her another saucer of saka. "I think that'd be a great idea. Who know's? Maybe Roy'll even take you and be your private tutor." She looked to Sanaki, studying her face to see how she'd react to that thought, "You'd like that wouldn't you? All that alone time with Roy. Just the two of you being so physical and close to each other. Mmmm, it seems so nice really."
Taking the saka bottle, hse downed another gulp of it and smiled. Her mind then came to another thought, "Wait...wouldn't it be a pain for you to go back and forth to the den every day for school?"

This time Sanaki took Ryoko's advice and just sipped on the saka. She almost spat it out at her following statements though. She swalled the small amount in her mouth, a heavy blush on her cheeks.
"What!?! No!!" she sputtered, waving her hands around in a frantic manner. Now that she thought about it, why was she so flustered? She coughed and tried to calm herself. "Well, I mean, I propbably do need to catch up to the others, so I probably will need a teacher... and having Roy would be good because he seems like he'd be a good tutour, plus I know him, so I won't be so weird... but not like.. that!"
Her blush lightened a bit so it was more a pink tinge, but she still had to answer the second question. "Eh.... I would probably have to wake up very early..." she thought out loud, now not able to face Ryoko. "I dunno to be honest. It could be."

Reck came to the door of Kinami-kage’s house for his assigned mission but she was currently out somewhere so he let himself in and managed to make his way to her bedroom which was a total mess. There were so many clothes thrown around, you couldn’t tell if the floor had carpet or not. He then pulled out a sheet of paper and read it. “Ok, so I have to…ahhh…clean her room. This blows! I wanted a real mission, but if I do a good job then she may notice my true talent. Plus, ever since I have been here she’s been like a mother to me so this should be easy. Ha-ha!” With that he began to walk around the room focusing on the clothes covered floor and collected all the sweaters in his arms and placed the stack on the bed and then took a little time placing them in style and color order then folded them up and put them in the closet. “The sweaters are taken care of, now for the rest…huff…”
