I just finished dies the fire by S.M. Sterling...Now I'm reading the sequel the protectors war
Its a big book. I may have to stop in the middle before school to re-read the mistook story.

Its sci fi kinda...Its starts off with everything going normal then some electrical storm happens and shuts down everything that requires pressure, electricity, etc...
So guns dont work because the gun powder doesnt burn fast enough...All electric stuff doesnt work...cars dont work, plains, thrains, plumbing...All dosent work...So there pretty much pulled back to the year 1000ad.
Then eventuall people have to grow there own food...So some become cannables, and...yeah stuff happens...
