Damn work. That's all I have to say: however, back to the topic at hand.
Free art would draw people in most definitely, but I can nearly guarantee that no one would hang around once they got it. Heh, I’m just playing the devil’s advocate since I can’t think of any of my own ideas to throw around. I’m really not sure what makes people want to be active in a guild. Maybe an RP thread? I mean, it’s not general chatting…but it certainly would draw in people if we have an interesting plot line…it would also keep people coming back, and create a thread that even rivals our great GCT…

An rp thread.. I'm not big on the roleplaying, but I'm sure the guild would be much more active. And you're right about the art thing. Maybe they'd ditch. Hmm. Well I'm thinking we need to thinking of something more along the lines of Inspiration. Something that inspires. I have no idea. If we can't think of anything maybe we should change the guild name? Oh yah, and the guild leader says she's just been busy, and since it's her first guild she'll try a little harder to help out.

Hm...Well generally something that inspires is an inspiration itself. Something that inspired you that would inspire others. 'Cause art basically is your expression of how you feel and people can hate it, love it, or get inspired. I have no idea what I just said but I hope I've helped. =D

I'm not the biggest RPer either, but if it flew, bet a lot of people could get hooked--so long as it was done correctly.
Yeah, I'm with BlackRose on that one.
As for something more along the lines of art and inspiration...we could always do some sort of inspiration contest? A topic is given...ie. a picture, a sentence, whatever, and people can submit either written or drawn work based on the picture or sentence...see how that links to inspiration?
Anyways...the contest could be hosted by the guild, and open to everyone to increase awareness about the guild...but then provide special prizes for members, encouraging more people to join, because if there's one thing about people that's generally true; it's that they're greedy per-say, and always striving to get the "good stuff". Then, if that contest is a success, we could continue to hold such contests, continually promoting the guild and guild activity.
Just an idea...but...*shrugs*...

Maybe we can make an off guild thread about it so people can ask questions and whatnot on that thread BEFORE they enter the guild. And I think that we should raise some gold to get good prizes. Does anyone have anything expensive they wouldn't mind giving up? Like I have my omfg, but I'm love with the thing so... lol yah. I dunno. I think we should really go with this idea, it's great Wannabe. A little complicated maybe like Blackrose said, but I'm sure if we really try we can do it, and it'll be fun.
