"Maybe, maybe not." Neko said, getting up. She went into the bathroom and grabbed a hair brush, dragging it through her tangled hair. It had occured to her that she hadn't bruhed it after her shower and after sleeping. Not a good thing, as her slightly pink-tinted hair was now quite tangled.

He continued to dress himself as she combed her hair, wondering when he'd get to meet her parents.

When she finished, Neko put the brush down and began to braid her hair into her normal style. When she was done, she tossed her braid over her shoulder and picked up the brush again, walking over to Asmodai. She started to drag the brush through his hair playfully.

He shut his eyes, enjoying the feeling. "So when do I get to meet your mother and father?"

"Dunno." Neko said, also hugging him from behind one armed as she brushed his hair. "Whenever they want to meet you I guess. No one really orders around a near million-year old demon except another near million-year old demon."

He chuckled. "You're parents must be really interesting people then."

"Yup. Almost too interesting at times. And insanely curious, though may dad more than my mom. I take after him a lot...." She trailed off, thinking back to when she lived with her parents, back before her siblings died."

"What was it like, living with them?" He turned around, looking at her.

"I...didn't really live with them." She said, leaning against him. "Most of them were centuries older, and Ashley was the only one besides me who really lived with our parents. Those that lived nearby or were visitng would come over sometimes, but Kyoko and Mike were the only ones that visited every day. They weren't really siblings to me, except for those three. They didn't even feel like family sometimes, even though I knew they were. But I still miss them." She snuggled against him for a moment. "What was living with your wife like?"

"I'm sorry. I made you upset." She hugged him even tighter, trying to cheer him up. "I just wanted to know about your past...I didn't mean to make you angry."

"I'm not angry, or upset. I'd just rather not talk about it." He sighed and hugged her back.

He smiled and petted her a bit, wondering if he could ever tell her about his past, if he would ever feel comfortable about it.
